Was in town on business, but like the area as I want to get back to my small town roots. I'm not generally a fan of yellow queso anywhere, but food was tasty with decent portions (it was lunchtime). Didn't get our server's name but she was a delight & kept our drinks & salsa full. When I'm in Bonham, I'll very likely eat here. BTW...we had chicken fajitas, chili relleno & tamales. read more

The service is horrible! They say this is authentic Mexican? I guess they don't get out of Bonham much. The food is nasty. Taco Bell serves better Mexican food than this place and they are closer to authentic. . Everything was over seasoned with cumin. I know Mexican food calls for cumin but that isn't the main seasoning. It was nasty and I won't be back! We ordered Fajitas and guess what the main seasoning was? Great Little Tex-Mex Restaurant! We couldn't believe how much food we got with the Combo Fajita Family Platter, it's a bargain for sure! Fajitas for two, huge nacho plate, large cup of queso, taquitos, and stuffed fried peppers. The restaurant is clean and well kept. Nice little outdoor patio as well. The young waitress did a great job, she had many tables to serve but was very efficient yet friendly. We will definitely come back soon! read more

Been meaning to stop here since we moved into the area 2 years ago sorry we waited so long! The food was delicious and my wife and I both enjoyed it! The only drawback is the size, it's very small inside. They have it setup well and they fit a lot of people in there, and it's really cozy. The wait staff was very friendly and took good care of us! I almost gave 4 stars because the space is so tight and limited with a dining room that might have 8 tables but I decided everything was top notch for what it was a supposed to be. The food tastes authentic and homemade. The staff is friendly and they are constantly cleaning. I recommend the tamales and the warm chips and salsa. read more

Very small place 7-8 tables. Food is good, service is consistent. Music is normally too loud to carry on a conversation. If you are not paying by cash, upon paying the cashier, she will tell you the cost of your meal & conveniently not mention the fact that you are being charged 99 cents for paying by debit or credit card. Cheese enchiladas that make you beg for more--they reminded me of the ones from Joe T Garcia's in Fort Worth (which is saying something). Taco and chalupa were fresh and good as well. It was good Tex-Mex. We stopped here, as we were staying out at the State Park. It had a simple menu and provided different choices for kids who didn't want any mexican food. We will return here again, the next time when in Bonham. FYI- no alcohol or margs sold here, but still good food. read more

We're RVing here in Bonham and found this restaurant not far from the main square. It has a fantastic chef that has been cooking " a lot of years" they told me. I had the chili rellenos which came with a lovely home made sauce. It was heaven. My partner had the cheese enchiladas and gave a big thumbs up for that dish too. They are also consistent in delivery as we have visited on one other occasion since the first. The staff is friendly, the building and patio very inviting and the food, just great. A real reason to come out of the city and relax in a small town country atmosphere. read more

I order the tamale dinner usually. The chili sauce is pretty good. But the last time I ordered, the platter was hot but the food was cold. Disappointing, but I think it's a fluke. Will eat there again. read more
