My normal Mexican spot is closed on Tuesday, so I thought I'd try something different. Decent, if slightly inattentive service, nice enough little place but the food was very bland. The $16 portion on the carne a la Mexicana was smaller than average and it was very bland with some of the worst quality beef I've had in a while. I asked for it spicy at the time of the order, and was provided a small bit of spicy salsa. I guess I should have been more specific and asked for peppers in the dish. The watery salsa had no spice and very little flavor. Beans were good, rice was okay. For the price, I expected more. Definitely not a compelling dinner. Review amended due to snarky reply from the business. I didn't expect a "copy and paste of my favorite place", but I would have loved to have enjoyed a good meal. Unfortunately, that wasn't on the menu at this establishment. There are at least half of a dozen better Mexican restaurants in Sherman that will serve you a significantly better plate of food, with decidedly better quality beef for similar(or less) cost. read more

Just another update! Stopped by the other night again. It didn't disappoint as usual. The food was amazing and consistent. Service was really quick and well spaced.. I had the chili Relleno burrito, which was absolutely amazing. I would highly highly recommend this place. If you're in Sherman I need to keep our local businesses like this one in Business.. read more

Bruno's Mexican Kitchen - Chili Relleno Burrito - Mexican Near Me - Sherman, Texas

Stop at Bruno's in Sherman Texas today. And it was great! The food tasted amazing. I had the quesadillas and beans and rice. And all of it tasted really good. My husband had the enchiladas with rice and beans and he said that the cheese on the enchiladas was really good. The lady that waited on us was very sweet and made sure everything was perfect. And the restaurant was so clean and very nicely decorated. The whole place was very nice. I will be back! read more

The Al Pastor tacos are to die for! Definitely my favorite in the area! Give them a try, you won't regret it!

Great service and food. Street tacos are very good with several choices of meats. Our server was very polite.

Love this place, such good queso. Amazing service! Cannot recommend enough. The tamales, the flautas, the chile rellanos.

Loved our lunch at Bruno's! The food was delicious (I had beef enchiladas, and the rice and beans are some of the best I've had), and the waitress was very kind and friendly. The horchata was particularly good, too, and the vibe of the restaurant was authentic - I'll definitely be back! read more

Favorite restaurant in town. Family owned, friendly atmosphere, clean & tidy. The food is fantastic!!

What a surprise this little place is. First off, it is sparkling clean! I've tried the chicken flautas (great) and posole (awesome). They make their own salsa and the chips are so good - thin but durable enough to dip. The service was friendly and quick. read more

Went to Brunos Mexican food Responding Last Month and Also the Month Before. There Food Was Just Okay, What Was Very Disappointing Was The Sides of Rice and Beans. I have had several dishes here. All were good. It's on the west side of sherman, which is great. Food was quality and tasted fresh. Service is open seating. No waitstaff no tipping required, but it is welcomed. Especially since they are family entrepreneurs and I'm sure can't pay staff very well yet. You won't find Tex-mex on this side of town that's as convenient and clean. read more
