Yummy yummy food. GREAT service. And super cute decor. Very clean restrooms! Their Diet Coke is also very crispy .

The nicest Mexican restaurant I have ever dined in, owned by an award-winning chef. Inside the walls are covered with recognition of Chef Felipe Gaytan accomplishments. Wow, it is an honor just to be in the establishment! This is a destination restaurant you must try. Beautiful and roomy inside. Decorated in a rustic Mexican, Texican motif. Comfortable, cozy and upscale. How upscale? Mouth wash available in the restroom, upscale! The meal starts with chips and salsa. Make sure that you sample ALL of the salsas available. Check the Pictures. This is some of the best of the best. I ordered one of the chef specialties, Adobo Shrimp over Crab Enchiladas: Grilled Adobo Glazed Shrimp, over Crab Enchiladas, Mango-Serrano Pico and Wilted Spinach, Fried Plantains. Amazing delicious! My Wife had the Carnitas Fajitas: Pork Carnitas, Pineapple, Grilled Onions, Rice, Beans, Sour Cream, Pico, and Tortillas, Perfect flavorful carnitas with pineapple, a perfect combination. Upscale service just like the restaurant food and ambiance. It set the bar for my Mexican food experience.

Delicious food, cozy atmosphere, excellent service! We found this sweet little gem by chance driving through town. It's a block off of main street and easy to find. So glad we stumbled across it and will definitely come back!

My husband and I went for a late lunch, we couldn't have been more impressed. The food was delicious, my husband had the enchilada lunch special, and I had the shrimp ceviche. On top of the delish food, we received impeccable service our server was so friendly and steadily kept checking to make sure we were doing good. I would recommend this restaurant 100%

Beautiful decor, yummy margaritas and bean dip! Our server was attentive and we loved the decor. Hubby had the Texas Redfish and my Lobster & Shrimp Chile Rellenos was so delicious!

Our wine club has made to visits to this restaurant, one time we had a group of 27 and this time we had a group of 12. Both times the food and service have been excellent. We will definitely go back! Highly recommend .

I visited on a Saturday evening for an early dinner with my parents and sister. (Side note for Dallas residents: If you're familiar with the Katy Trail, it's worth the drive to see where it all began. When the Katy railroad tracks were removed in Dallas, the trail was born. While Denison doesn't have a trail today, the original depot remains, and it's a lovely place to explore.) The atmosphere at Stafford House is calm and refined, with deep burgundy tones, and brown leather accents lending it a warm, intimate feel. Service was quick, friendly, and attentive. We started with the steak carpaccio appetizer, which was savory and full of flavor. For dinner, the ladies each had the Airline chicken with mushroom risotto, while my father and I ordered the lamb T-bones. I swapped the vegetable medley for sweet potato grits, which were decent but lacked any noticeable sweet potato flavor. Definitely put Stafford House on your must-visit list. It's a beautiful little spot for a quiet, intimate dinner. And don't miss their adjacent bar--it's equally charming and perfect for a pre- or post-dinner cocktai

You order at the front and they bring it out. I had a roasted chicken quinoa bowl, with cherry tomatoes, cucumber, arugula, feta, and their signature lemon basil dressing! I ordered a side of avocado lime dressing, and had a green tea with lavender (unsweetened), and added stevia. The only thing is that the staff kinda doesn't say much. The girl who rang me up didn't know what the dressing was on the bowl, seemed to not know the menu well, and was friendly enough, but just needed more training or something. I'm a foodie so- I studied the menu beforehand. I used to own a 4 star in Louisiana. I knew every aspect of menu. I overtipped her up front. She brought the food but didn't check on me. I had to ask for things. I really didn't care because I love to eat in peace. But they weren't busy enough to be so.... I don't know... a little snooty? They spoke a lot to each other. The food was made where you could see it. All sustainable, farm to table, organic, etc... when I left, I asked for a to go container. Another girl brought it while the main girl was sweeping all around me (kind of a no no). The other girl was cute and more friendly. Seemed comfortable. I even was going to buy a tin of their tea but it wasn't marked. I asked the main girl how much it was. She said she would check, kept sweeping and doing her side work, and didn't come tell me the price until I was leaving (a sale lost). It's my 3rd time there and the staff is always kinda like that... almost as of they expect you to know the menu yourself. But when I left, one of the chefs opened the door and walked out with me. He was super nice. I guess it's hit and miss with the service but they do deliver it in a timely manner and it's super fresh. I just never let any of my servers hit the floor or greet a guest unless they could describe each dish with such detail that your mouth watered. I upsold. I checked on people and so did my staff. We asked questions and got to know our guests. But all in all this place I HIGHLY. recommend!!!!!!

A first rate coffee shop that puts the indie coffee shops of Austin to shame…read more And I should know - living in Austin and spending a lot of time in coffee shops. If Lettuce Indulge was in my hometown, it would be my number one hangout coffee shop. They specialize in very high quality straight up coffee, their own self-invented elaborate coffee drinks - and healthy main dishes. I did a straight up espresso and a chicken and good-for-you-stuff bowl. The straight up espresso was so good - I went for a second about twenty minutes later. I don't have a coffee taster's vocabulary - But this was a non-burnt, non-heavy, complicated, intriguing brew. It was not like any coffee I had had in a long time. * * * The chicken bowl beat the stupid stuff Starbucks sells you for lunch easily. My home coffee shops vary in the quality of their kitchens. There are some sandwiches and salads to die for. There is also a lot of mediocre stuff that makes Starbucks lunch look good. If my chicken bowl had been rated on an Austin scale from 1 to 10, It would have been a solid 8. I would be happy to eat that over and over and over again. * * * The room is fine. The folks who work there are super super friendly and super super nice. * * * The establishment closes on Sundays ... So I am going to guess that one of the owners or maybe a huge percentage of the staff are dedicated Christians. There is a lot of idealism in the craftsmanship that goes into the coffee. Same for the idealism that goes into the food. Plus the room has a very healthy vibe. There is a lot of virtue in this establishment. Virtue is a good thing.
