Eden is AMAZING! Best service of anywhere in Denison! Drinks were great and appetizers were also very good. But Eden was the best!

Great food, Eden was a fantastic server. Music was amazing too. Always have a great time there.

We love trivia nights at George Tavern. We especially love Eden! She is friendly, clever, and truly enjoys what she does.

Well now, if this ain't a Friday night done right, I don't know what is Pulled up to The George Tavern and this place was hoppin' like a frog in a rainstorm! Live music rollin' on the back covered patio, cool breeze blowin', and folks kickin' back enjoyin' the night--just about as perfect as it gets That tap selection? Whew... they got more choices than a cowboy's got excuses. Something for everybody, and it was flowin' smooth all night Now let's talk food... we grabbed some chicken wings and I'll tell ya straight--those things were spot on. Cooked just right, full of flavor, and didn't last long on the table And if you're feelin' a little competitive, they've even got corn hole set up so you can toss a few bags while enjoyin' the tunes and the crowd All in all, this place has got that perfect mix of good music, great food, and a laid-back vibe that makes ya wanna stay a while. Cowboy verdict: We'll definitely be ridin' back for another Friday night under them patio lights read more

Came here for a mini family vacation and Eden was our server! Nowadays it's a rare experience to get great service and good food at the same place. This place had a nice menu list that catered to both adults and kids. It is a tavern so it has the indoor and outdoor seating options. So if it's hot, everyone The fried pickles were delicious as an appetizer and the chicken fried steak was pretty good. In my opinion it had too much dough to meat ratio, but the flavor was definitely there. Now we started with an espresso martini and boy was that delicious! It was the perfect bold and a little hint of sweetness like it was a dessert. Their blueberry lemon Moscow mule was definitely my favorite beverage of choice here but next time I may have tequila mixed drinks that Eden suggests. Will definitely come back and ask for her again because she just made our experience fun and enjoyable. Also, to try more food and beverage combinations on their menu since it seems to be a very popular area for some locals. read more

Good food and atmosphere but they need help with service. Large groups should call ahead and reserve so the smaller people groups don't suffer on service. read more

Popular spot, at least on Wednesday evening for the open mike jam, for which I was there to participate. Great chicken fingers! Servers check on you frequently, so I was never waiting too long. Will be back to take the family sometime. read more

Last night I made a trip to George's Tavern. And it was great. They have fantastic food and it is open mic night on Wednesdays so you get some great entertainment too. It is a great place to go and eat and listen to music by some really great local performers. And the staff that work there give some awesome service too. I was highly recommend this place. read more

We were interested in a nice dinner and some good draft beer, however, when we arrived with music blaring it just was Too noisy for us.

I like this place but you never know what you're going to get. I've had great experiences with the service and food but can also get pissed off and get up and walk out after I've ordered an ice water. The turn over seems high since every time I'm there the employees are different.. Today I sat at the bar. Ordered a water and menu. Then she walked away. I just wanted to place my order but after waiving her down twice and she didn't return I walked out. Once you order this place takes awhile at times. Hope this doesn't continue. Not sure when I'll return read more

We had amazing service. Thank you, Eden. A great end to a work-week! ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

The loaded tots and pretzels were amazing. Eden was exceptional and took great care of us!!

Great food!! Great servers!! Love the music out back!! Try to go weekly. Never a back time!!!

This is my favorite place to go in all of Texoma. The vibes are always impeccable. Austin is the best waiter. Adam is a fantastic bartender. Oliver White hosts the best events and his gigs are always a great time. The chicken wings, the soups and salads, or their little conductor burger is usually what I order... all of these are amazing. I've never ordered anything that I don't like off their menu though. And I've probably had more than half of the menu so you really can't go wrong, no matter what you get! And the live local music really adds to the vibe, they have music 7 days a week unlike any other place in this area... everything that they always have there is always divine. It never fails to be a great time. They do so much for our community too. Thanks for everything, Ernie! read more

Attempted to try this place on July 4th for lunch; but didn't get a chance to eat because the blasting loud live music ran us off. As a previous review mentioned below, this place still does not understand indoor acoustics. read more

Well, I realize it was Saturday afternoon and a big NFL game was on. However. Couldn't get to the bar to order. I don't know what's up with that place. It might be okay but it looked like all the bar flys were there and weren't letting anyone else get to a bartender read more

Food was yummy and love music was great. They were very busy so service was a little slow. Still had a good time

Wait staff is wonderful but they don't understand acoustics at all. Live band inside was so loud it would've made Metallica sound tame. So off-putting. read more

We really enjoy coming here. The drinks are very good. We like to come during happy hour for apps and a few drink specials then, usually order an entree. They have an extensive list of craft beers. Their beer is cold! We enjoy trying different sips. Yes, they will let you try a small sip before ordering. They have all types of crafted beers. The queso is very good. The potions are huge! We normally split an entree (of course, after apps it's plenty). Their burgers are great! Love their chicken fingers which they should rename to giant chicken fingers. They are crispy, hot, and delicious. They have a choice of dipping sauces but, we usually get white gravy. I dip my fries in the gravy. The fries are fantastic as well. They don't even need ketchup . Fun atmosphere. They do have various musicians. Some we like more than others but, we enjoy all types of music. Thanks for the great service as always Adam. We will be back! read more
