Was visiting a friend in Denison a couple weekends ago, and for a small town, I was honestly surprised to find this hidden gem. The bar is super cozy at night, and the holiday lights really add to the overall ambiance, cool vibes all around. I didn't stay to dine-in and ordered out instead, but I could easily see myself sitting here playing cards with friends. The pizza was VERY good, and the summertime berry salad was even better (now goes by Strawberry Pecan Salad). Two days later, my friends and I were hungry and couldn't stop thinking about this pizza and salad. So we ordered out again mid day. This time we got a full salad, added chicken, and asked for extra toppings and dressing. Definitely ask for extra, especially if you're sharing, because the normal amount isn't quite enough. I'm a culinary dietitian and meant to ask for their ranch recipe, but totally forgot. Ughhh!! So delicious though! There was a small mix-up with the second order and we had to drive back, but the customer service was great and it was no issue at all to fix. Highly recommend!!! read more

Craft Brewery in small town Denison. Nice variety of beer styles, all approachable and well-executed. Oatmeal Blonde and the Cow Bell strong ale were my favorites. Had some time to kill before meeting my son who lives in Denison so decided to stop by Say When Brewing. Was just gonna have a flight of beers but their menu looked good. I tried the half Italian sub which came with homemade chips. My sandwich was very tasty with fresh greens on it and crunchy bread. Chips really paired well with my beers. Great brewery vibe in a cool old building. The beer is good and there's something similar to whatever brand name beer you like. The pizza is the best in town, salads are great, the ranch dressing is unique and tasty, and there is a full menu of other choices. The staff is friendly and service is great. It's a "Cheers" kind of place where everyone is regulars and knows your name, but also welcoming to all. It's a nice local business and a great addition to our downtown community. read more

Very cool spot in downtown Denison. Stopped in here for a few delicious brews on my birthday. The beer was delicious and though we didn't try any of the food the pizza smelled delicious! My friend is a huge Tombstone fan and really got a kick out of the place. We will be back next time we are in town. read more

Savory. Stopped here to check out the area. Had a mixture of copper and stainless steel brewing tubs. We got a mixture of things. Started with breadsticks and meatballs. Got a gluten free pizza (have to order individual and pick your own toppings). Was reportedly extra soft and squishy for gluten free. We were told they take longer to order though. Then we got a pizza and it was absolutely delicious. We had a great time playing cards against humanity (from over by the restrooms). Ranch is decent as well. Staff was handling the whole restaurant very impressively all by herself on a Saturday. This is a savory little place that will have you coming back for more. read more

We loved it. We were looking for somewhere local to have pizza so we asked Google and this place came up. We got two pizzas to go and breadsticks. We really liked it. We didn't have beer but they had a large variety. When we are back in the area we will definitely come here again. read more

This is an update to my 5 star review that was written soon after they opened... I went there a month ago and I walked out thinking something has changed... people are different and the pizza was way different. It didn't taste like it did when they first opened... This place was a pleasant surprise. We stumbled upon this brewery while camping near by and were quite glad we did. The beer selection was great, the place was clean and spacious, and the people were friendly. The food was surprisingly good for somewhat random Italian inside a small town brewery. Our group tried the meatballs / breadsticks / artichoke bread for starters (there were 6 of us). All were really good! We also had a meatball sub (good), pizza(really good), and stuffed shells (werent done). Aside from the stuffed shells being cold in the middle - which they gladly redid - everything else was solid! Ok it's a brewing company so let's talk about beer. They will sample you some if you like, I prefer a larger sample so I chose a flight of 4. There will be one you like, I am sure. I tried from the lighter side all the way to the stout. I'll just say this, if you love stout, this still may be stouter than you like. The lighter beers are good, tho one tasted like it should be a floor cleaning fluid. FYI, I like Guiness stout ( on tap ) and Shiner Bock. We tried the pizza, OMG! The cheese is 100% whole milk Mozzarella, the crust is fresh and the toppings are perfect. Who could imagine a beer joint having the best pizza for miles? They have to beat pizza in Texoma! The bartenders treat you like local and know the beers. It's a great little space with a local bar vibe "where everybody knows your name." And Jason brews beer drinkers beers, taking his time to nail each style. You won't find anything weird or odd like at 903 or Martin House but if you want some good company amongst good people drinking great beer to wash down some excellent pizza this is the spot. Ask them to pour you some beer and Say When! My personal favs, the Oatmeal Blonde, Pivo Aristokrat, and Gunslinger Kölsch. Hop heads will dig the Locomotive IPA and the Texas Penny Cooper is a hoppy red/amber ale. read more

We tried this brewery last night. It was amazing! Our awesome bartender let us try a variety of the beers. Very knowledgeable about their products. We ordered an appetizer of spinach artichoke bread. Menu had a Denison Meat Pizza but it also stated I could build my own sub from pizza ingredients...so I had a Denison Meat Sub. It was AWESOME!!! Wait staff was very accommodating. Wife had the American Pale Ale and very much enjoyed it. Building is revitalized downtown and was an icehouse in the 1800s. read more

Had lunch there a few weeks ago. The staff is super friendly, and beer was very good. The pizza was decent but they were very stingy with the toppings.
