Shame on management, you could have a Gold Mine if you just get professional about the Food and Drinks. $ 19.00 for six Shrimp Jammers , nasty frozen Caca. I really want to enjoy it as we have a slip at the marina but because the food is not good and wine selection is disappointing, I choose not to go. Came here on a Sunday morning after a day at the lake and I would say it was not too bad! Our hostess sat us down after a 10 minute wait. When we sat down, we ordered a mimosa tower. The mimosa tower was a cool experience but I don't think it was well worth it considering it was all orange juice and not much alcohol. We sat down and waited about 10 minutes and we realized that we never got a menu. After realizing, we asked the hostess in which she said there is none it's a buffet. So just an FYI, Sunday morning brunch is buffet style!! I wish they told us that because we kinda sat and waited around for nothing. The food was mediocre but what do you expect from a buffet. I do like how they offered breakfast options and lunch options. Well, once more we head out to "The Point" for Happy Hour and to sit and view the lake (which is all this place has going for it!). They advertise Half Price select drinks and appetizers. Well, not this time. I did call ahead to insure they were open. They said yes. I ask about the half price appetizer's, she said "Yes, we have half appetizers at half price, (what ?) ". And that was correct, you do get appetizer's (about half orders) at half price. As well, we got our ticket to check out and found that we had an additional $9.95 item they could not explain, and also got charged full price for the Appetizer's (not the drinks). So we end up with items like $14.95 for 7 wings, etc. We are locals and have been (over the years) just trying our best to make this place a main stay for our business, but never, not once has this place been not a rip off. I was greatly disappointed because I drove 20 miles to eat there. The site said they were open. I pulled up parking lot full, view seemed to. E very nice from what I did see. I walked down the stairs to get to the restaurant, passed one sign that stated Event. Never said closed to the public. I passed a few employees as I was looking for the hostess. I walked up to the bar, asked where the hostess was at as I wanted to be seated. I was told they were closed to the public for the special event. HOW DISAPPOINTING. Good food, a bit pricy but not so much when you consider its at a resort location right on Lake Texoma. My son had the Calamari. Tender, good flavor and not too chewy. Went a few weeks ago and had a good experience for our large group. Food was better than expected (based on reviews and my own past experience), and drinks were great. They have a good top shelf local tequila for margs we all liked. Service was a million times better than other options visited recently at the lake! Love the live music! read more

Food is the pretty basic bar food menu, but overpriced. (The brunch buffet is one that rivals a hotel breakfast if that says anything.) Service is hit and miss, drink orders are always consistent, but getting reorder service has proven to be a bit more difficult. Opening the outdoor bar could remedy this issue. When there is live music, it's usually turned up too loud that conversations can't be had at the table. It's worth noting when we have been there this year (spring/summer of 2023) we have had 2 or 4 guests, not large groups, and tend to go before peak times. read more

Let's be honest. The food here absolutely sucks. I hate to be so blunt, but dang... This place is like your only option when you get off of the lake. The view is absolutely outstanding, but the food just could not be worse... I have been here three times after family boat trips on the lake and each time for just me and my boyfriend, it's like $70+ for food that McDonalds could beat. And I hate McDonalds... The servers are always super nice and attentive so that is a plus, but the food is a huge part of the experience and they are seriously lacking flavor, portion size, and reasonable prices. They are always packed so I'm assuming people love the food or they have the munchies after drinking on the lake all day and don't care what fills their bellies. I wanted so badly to love the food here, just haven't found anything that sings to my heart... and wallet. read more

My wife and I had not been to the point for a couple of years. Iw and that was mainly because we forget it it there. We recently visited the place snd it was great. It was a busy Saturday night and we had a group of 10 that they were able to accommodate and the food was great. I had the 12 oz ribeye while my wife had the shrimp scampi. Love the location, but it was not worth what we paid. We had some nachos where the cheese wasn't even melted on it, 2 Cobb salads (one of the salads had salmon for an up-charge of $8), and an appetizer of corn fritters. Our bill before tip was $105.00. Beautiful restaurant on Lake Texoma overlooking the lake. You can come by car, motorcycle, boats but no trains. Lol Plenty of automobile parking within walking distance, boat docking near the gas station with plenty of slips. There was hostess outside who promptly greeted us and we had the choice of patio seating and indoor seating. Our waitress was friendly and provided us with good recommendations. Wife and I wanted to try the smoked sausage since our friends and others have told us about how good it is but was sold out, ugh! Wife had the texas philly with wedges and the philly was on point; meat was tender, flavored well. I had the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and corn. It had good crispy batter, tender and the white gravy was creamy; the mashed potatoes were really good as well. Anyone in the area should try stopping by. read more

It was alright. First thing I noticed is that it's difficult to find the entrance, and there were too many teenage employees hanging around doing nothing. We tried the chicken Bernaise and the fried catfish. Chicken bearnaise was dry, it was advertised as being topped with crab meat and shrimp. The shrimp were good, but I was not expecting imitation crab meat on a 24 dollar dish like that. The chicken was, salty, overcooked and dry. The potatoes were undercooked in the garlic mashed potatoes and every bite had a bit of "al dente" potatoes. Disappointing. The catfish and potato wedges were very good. But the Cole slaw was dry. Terrible! Sunday brunch was awful. The people working there were very nice but the food is like what you would get at a school.

This place has a nice view, but that's about it. The brunch food was pretty bland and some items tasted like they bought it pre-made and just heated it up. Coffee was flavorless. Only a third of the staff was wearing masks and they didn't enforce patrons to wear them at all. Prices are way too high for the quality and they don't seem to care about Covid. Second time to try the Sunday Brunch. The music is terrible. Loud 90's rock both times. People yelling to talk over the music. The buffet is in a tight space and the selection is small with constant empty containers. For $18/ person, I wasn't impressed either time. read more

Not really my favorite place. Not from around there. We were seated quickly, drink order taken and took a bit to bring our drinks...which consisted of waters. Apparently it was a Sunday and it was buffet. We found that out after someone finally came by to check on us and we asked for menus and fried pickles we saw on the online menu. (We didn't see anything about buffet on Sunday online, just the regular menu). Don't assume the guests are aware that's the only option for Sunday....especially in August in the middle of a Pandemic where buffets have not been an option in most restaurants. Plus, the potential for a number of out-of-towners due to the lake. I thought that was odd that there was buffet where you served yourself some of the items...because...well...COVID-19! I was hesitant for sure. Some of the main items were served by staff. Most was self serve and that dictated what I selected. Overall the service for our table was lacking. Food was ok and I was not keen on the buffet concept and how it was handled. Pricey when all persons in your party don't eat much from the buffet and the options. (May have gone elsewhere). I was concerned about getting food from the buffet. Go for the views if you can sit outside. Maybe go when they have live music and not a buffet. read more

We had the Texas toothpicks, house salads , Norwegian salmon and the ribeye. They were out of the snapper. The portion serving of the toothpicks looked small - like it was 1/2 portion. Either it should be more or it should be served in a smaller dish. They spread out the toothpicks on a large dish and it looked awkward. Like something was missing. The house salads were mixed greens, a dash of cheese and one cherry tomato in a toddler size bowl. The ribeye was ok but very salty. For $30, I expected more flavor. Did not look like a 12 Oz. Ok so the salmon, mashed potatoes and wild rice - salmon was good and flavorful. Portion size was ok. The mashed potatoes and rice were in the toddler size bowls and were cold. Sent those back to be warmed and they came back mildly warm. I would expect to pay a little more at a waterfront restaurant however given the small portion sizes and mediocre food, this place is certainly over priced. We have tried this place for years now; especially each time management changes. I am hoping for positive changes in the future. read more

Not good. Way too many workers cause the area for the brunch buffet to become crowded. When we went to the buffet after being seated, they gave our table to someone else and then made us move to another table. Took forever to get our drinks. Food was not good quality. The only thing good was the fruit, so save yourself $$ and just pack a picnic. The other reviewer was right about the extremely loud, terrible music.
