The food here is great! The cheese bread was nice and airy and the marinara sauce is wonderful. Didn't want to feel too much up on the cheese bread so we left room for a medium pepperoni pizza, which was amazing. Incredible sauce, and doesn't leave you filling super full after eating it. I kept looking at and noticed that the manager was talking to this young girl, as he was told that that we needed assistant, he kept talking to the young lady and finally 27 minutes the manager came by and say a few things how was All and my wife just said hey there's something wrong with this I guess he probably thought that doesn't matter. We are brand new to the area and ate there for first time this week. Excellent pizza, Greek salad and meatball sub sandwiches! Their homemade marinara sauce is outstanding! The staff is very friendly and we felt welcome and at home. Restaurant was clean and seating/tables were pretty comfortable. The prices are very reasonable for dine-in restaurants these days. My family and I stopped in on the way to Choctaw. The location is clean and nice. The staff was kind, the chef washed his hands before preparing our food. My Mom and I shared a Greek salad- the portion is very large. It comes with a tangy balsamic dressing. Neither one of us cared for the sun dried tomatoes, they were very chewy. My son had the kids cheese pizza, a great portion for a big boy. I had the veggie, it was gorgeous and colorful. Very delicious. I would have it again. My Mom has the Hawaiian delight, which had Canadian bacon, pineapple, cranberries and cashews. She said it was different but very enjoyable. The crust was wonderful and fresh. We ordered Palio's pizza from the slice app. We had never eaten there before. The only positive thing I can say is it arrived before it was estimated to be here. The pizza was cold and the salad was small and had no flavor. When I called Slice to report my experience they told me that the restaurant said to "piss off". I called the restaurant directly to file my complaint and they told me to call Slice and I informed them I had. They asked what I had been told and I told them. They then told me personally "well then piss off!" I won't be ordering from them again or eating in the restaurant. $50 for a large pizza and salad and terrible customer service is not my kind of good time. Thanks but no thanks Palio's. Not a fan at all. First it started at the counter. The woman working there in her early 20s had an attitude when taking out order. We waiting 30 min just to get cheese bread. Another 15 min to get our food. I orders a chicken calzone. The calzone was soggy, had juice oozing out of it, and barely any cheese. We came in from out of town looking for some place other than the usual chain restaurants and found this place on Yelp. We had the manager's special, which seemed like a good deal, for 2 medium pizzas Buy 1, get 1 half off, but after drinks still ended up spending about $30. The toppings were good, but the menu combinations seemed a little strange and off the wall. But we gave it a go with the Hawaiian Sunrise. The toppings actually worked, so I would imagine any Gourmet combination is well thought out. Crust could have been a little crisper for our liking. Waitstaff forgetting items would be the biggest complaint. If we are in the area again and haven't had such a long day of driving already, we might give this place a try again. Corporate franchise food is not exactly my forte, but I must admit that Palio's in Sherman TX produces a damn good thin crust pizza. The service was EXCELLENT the store is clean and the OWNER came and checked on us numerous times! The pepperoni pizza was delicious and the Siene Alfredo Pizza was also wonderful. We tried the lasagna and I will say that I would not order it again as I could taste the crunch of the uncooked noodles. The BEST pizza I've ever had! And it was gluten free at that! My husband and I travel through Sherman a few times a year. I searched for a restaurant that serves gluten free foods, and Palio's popped up. So we went (despite the so-so reviews). We didn't know what to expect, but when we walked in the atmosphere was great and it was clean. The staff were also very nice and accommodating! I built my own small gluten free pizza with chicken, artichoke, mushrooms, spinach, oregano pesto(amazing flavor), and cheddar cheese with an olive oil base. My husband ordered Maria's BBQ chicken. The food was very good! However, my little boy has a dairy allergy and the cashier girl assured me the meatballs did not have any dairy in them. The sauce is premade and dairy free so that was fine. Luckily my wife insisted I double check with the manager and sure enough The meatballs are premade and do have milk and cheese in them. The manager was very nice and made us a new dish but not apologetic for the mistake and the girl avoided us after being so self assured. We have learned to ask and ask or see the labels as almost every restaurant we rate as has no clue about their ingredients and lacks any training on allergens. Unfortunately it will take a death and a multi million dollar lawsuit for restaurants to wake up! Having worked on the industry I know first hand how important it is to have a well trained and educated wait staff. And with all the vaccine damaged people who have severe food allergies you best have an allergen menu at your finger tips. We ate here Friday afternoon on 10-26-2018. First time at this restaurant. We had a party of 3. We ordered a medium King pizza and 3 teas. The staff was pleasant. It was not crowded as it was after the lunch rush. The restaurant was very clean. The pizza was amazing. Best pizza we've had in a very long time. They were slimy and wet on the inside. We sent them back, the waitress came back with the same plate of wings saying they put them back through the oven needless to say, they were STILL not done.
