It was flawless--Perfectly cooked, juicy, tender, and seasoned just right. The service matched the quality of the food. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations. The tomatillo sauce and onion straw combination on the delta spice pie with queso fresco and cilantro and steak was unique and delicious. The steak was a bit chewy and had a few pieces of grizzle. The margherita pie would have been excellent, but it was downgraded because of lousy, not-quite-ripe tomatoes. The crust was the weakest part of both pizzas. While it was extremely thin, it was tasteless and the outer crust had the texture of a soft breadstick without any of the crustiness. There was a slight char on the bottom, but again, no crustiness. And, together, both pizzas came to almost $45.00 with tax. Not bad pizza, and maybe even really good pizza for Cooper Texas, but it's really just average pizza.
