Went there twice in just a couple of weeks. The large group at lunch had great service throughout the visit. The pizza bar had a good salad but cold pizza. The evening visit was with a group of 5. The service started out great but we had to ask for take-out boxes and our bills. The food was great with large portions. We get 'to go' food from Romano's about once a week. And have for a couple of years. Everything has always been great. One person to call out is Patrick. Think he runs the pizza oven, but he is a bright light consistently. Love his attitude and friendly nod every visit. The owner is always kind too. Definitely recommend. Food delicious!! read more

Ordered delivery from here as we explore pizza delivery options in Anna. Was one of the better places we have ordered delivery from, quick and reasonably priced. Will most certainly be ordering from there again. The only reason I could not give this place a 5 star was we wanted wings and the only wing choice was in the sample platter and you would have gotten 3 wings. Ordered a pepperoni pizza. It seemed familiar to me. It looked and tasted like the carry out special Papa John's was famous for in the 1990's. I haven't had Papa John's in 20 years, so I can't compare to how they are now. It wasn't bad by any means. I probably wouldn't order it again though. I would like to try out one of their specialty pizzas. One item to note: Their "giant" pizza is just a large for us public. Good price too. read more

I've only ever gotten Romano's delivered so I can't speak to the dine-in ambiance or experience, but the food...WOW. When you're watching a good sitcom and they order pizza and you're like, "damn that looks good I wish I could find pizza like that"...THIS is that pizza lol. Amazing crust, perfect sauce to topping ratio. I will say their spaghetti dishes have a sweet red sauce which I wasn't expecting, but it's still really yummy, just different than standard red sauces at most places. We tried Romano's a couple of times back in 2022 and weren't impressed. Went back in 2024 to give it another shot and have been pleased! We LOVE the Cheese Rolls appetizer and usually order the Romano's Favorite Pizza for our entree. Wait staff is friendly and attentive. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. Fantastic Pizza. The soft garlic dough paired with quality toppings is absolutely amazing.

A solid choice pizza joint. Took my daughter and her friends here before a slumber party. They ordered pizzas and pastas and loved what they got. I ordered the cheese rolls for the table and I loved those, YUM!! I had a pizza and although I ate too much it was wonderful. The staff are nice, helpful, and it was a great experience. Only complaint: Twice when I ordered for pickup they gave my order to someone else and I had to wait longer. Hasn't happened in months however, so I think they learned from their mistake. Okay, we finally made it to Romano's and we weren't disappointed. We were there for lunch and it wasn't CD very busy so service was great. The pizza was very good. My wife had one made with a cauliflower crust. She really liked it I had the special. It was also very good. We shared an order of cheese rolls. Wow! Very good. When you come in and order a pizza and manicotti, you don't expect to be there for eternity. Well the waitress was very friendly, but she kept saying your food is almost out. Well I got my pizza but my guest didn't get her manicotti. I finished my pizza and finally twenty minutes later the manicotti came out. We were done with the place and got it today. Apparently they forgot to make the manicotti, but they didn't forgot the bill. No adjustments were made. It was sad! read more

I called in a to-go order. Simple medium half pepperoni and half sausage pizza. As well as a half order of cheese rolls. They said it would be ready in 25-30 min. So I went up there in 30 minutes. Walked in and there are a bunch of high schoolers all over the place. All being the emolyee's. The lady asked for the name on my order. Said it was for "Allie" and she couldn't find my ticket. It was wrote on a sticky note and wasnt even put into the system to even have a ticket order. So I had to wait and additional 20 min on my order. While I was waiting all I could here playing was loud music and heard one employee say "Can I just clock out right now, I don't want to work". As well as them playing around in the back while in the prep area there was 4 other orders hanging up not being made. I also got charged full price and wasn't ever happy. I didn't see 1 adult in site managing them. There was 1 young gentleman that was very kind and was rushing my order which I really appreciate but still very irritating. read more

Tonight my wife and i called in a pickup order chicken nutty pizza, and let me tell you what! That is THE BEST tasting pizza i have ever tasted in my life. You can taste each and every ingredient and how fresh it really is. We usually order mr Jim's but tonight we wanted something different and we are glad we did. What a difference. Our first time here and it was just okay overall. My in laws and wife ordered a small Nutty Chicken pizza and a medium Hawaiian Sunrise pizza. Both were good - the Hawaiian Sunrise was the best one out of the two. I ordered a meatball sub which comes with a pickle spear and bag of potato chips. The meatballs were not homemade which was disappointing but the bread and red sauce were tasty. The prices are great and the restaurant space is clean + had a good setup. Our server wasn't too friendly but wasn't rude either. We'll be back to give it another try. read more

Been going here for years. The decor is an old V.A. store on the square. I love the retro feel, the old-fashioned ceiling, and the fans. The guy who owns the place is pretty nice, as well as the others. He doesn't talk much (well to me anyway). The place is cheaper than all the other pizza places around, and they're the only place that sells decent cheese rolls since Pizza Plus closed down. The food is good, and always hot. The salad bar is well stocked. The floors and kitchen look clean. I remember when this restaurant first opened 10 or so years ago, and the 'haters' started a rumor that the walk-in freezer was full of roaches. That's a lie, and I cannot believe that ridiculous rumor is still around. I recommend if you're new to the V.A. area. read more

Worth getting off the highway for! I always love pizza that isn't chain pizza, the prices are great and the pizza is wonderful also. I had a hamburger, jalapeno, and green olive. Very good! Love that it is so close to home but if your traveling and looking for a super meal just off the highway this is a great spot. read more
