I will preface this by saying I only come here because my son LOVES Papa Johns Pizza. However, after seeing how they handle the food and the lack of service they provide, I will be deterring him from coming to this location anymore. I hope my visit was on an off day and they do better for other customers. read more

Papa John's used to be my go-to place for pizza. Food used to be priced reasonable and service was typically very good. My last order was a disaster. I won't go into the details but let's just say that I won't be ordering food ever again from Papa John's. From over-priced food to shrinkflation (less portions) to "ghost" service fees to disgruntled delivery drivers it simply isn't worth it anymore. Count me out on this take-out/delivery food insanity. I'm a fairly good cook but if I want a decent meal outside the home I will either go to a sit-down restaurant or bring the food home myself. read more

Love this place! I've been going to this location for almost ten years and they've been great every time. Elaine is a wonderful manager and just a ray of sunshine. Over all the other pizza places, this Papa John's tops them. read more

Placed an order thru the app totaling $59.00. Over an hour later while I'm tracking my order, it was cancelled with no reason and no contact from this store. When I called the store, the phone rang with no answer, and then the line would just hang up when I tried calling again. This is unacceptable. There aren't many options as far as pizza delivery goes and I've never had an issue. But to wait over an hour just to cancel my order is ridiculous. read more

99% of the time the order is wrong, not a little wrong, but it's like they spin a wheel in the back to decide what they will make and then deliver. I've called before, but nothing has ever been corrected. Today was no exception, wrong order and boneless wings with a drizzle of sauce (literally less sauce, than I would use for dipping). I've had entire items left off and when I called was promised a credit. Called in to place an order to be told they had no record of the credit and when asked to speak to a manager to correct it, was told a manager wasn't available. It's pizza and wings, it's not that hard!!! read more

I'd like to compliment the on-site Manager for their excellent customer service. I ordered two pizzas on 10/27/23, and unfortunately, the cheese pizza was delivered in poor condition, possibly due to rough handling. After contacting the manager, she promptly addressed the issue by delivering a replacement cheese pizza, which truly demonstrates exceptional customer service. Thank you for not only keeping your word but also for making my son's day with a delicious cheese pizza. read more

I've never ever liked Papa John's pizza but the last time I ordered was more than 20 years ago, yes I will not return to a place if their product is not up to my standards, but my son asked me to order pizza and I said sure I'll call domino's pizza pizza and he suggested that I order Papa John's pizza and I replied no thanks but he insisted that their pizza is good so I did ordered it and OMG, the pizza was off the hook... and the chicken wings too. Fresh with no after taste and the dough was crispy on the outside and chewy not rubbery. Very very good pizza. Had to let people know when credit is deserved. Awesome job... read more

Worst experience ever. Placed a delivery order and ended up getting someone else's delivery. Called and they said wrong delivery again? Should have been my first clue. Second delivery still not right but gave up afraid of what a second call would bring. After spending $50 I will never get this again. Ridiculous read more

it was alright i guess. only because it was cheap. papa johns quality has definitely gone WAY down hill. idk if they switched up their recipes or whatever, but they just aren't it anymore. rather spend a few more dollars on better quality pizza and bread sticks. pizza was SUPER thin and just tiny (i ordered the regular hand tossed original pizza) it wasn't terrible it just wasn't good. the people at the restaurant were nice though, so no shame towards them. the food is just below average for sure read more

4 years ago this location was terrible, bad service and wrong orders. Today, its the Papa John's it was always meant to be. Fast delivery, hot pizza and correct orders. Love the 6 cheese Tuscany. Haven't had a bad experience in a year. Great job to management and staff! read more

3rd Review, 5 stars! - Delivered to my home on Saturday evening, after 6pm. - Delivery was on time! - Used a promo code that was still expensive. I don't think it worked. I know this will upset many people, but I think Papa John's might now be best pizza in Anna. Having tried another mom and pop pizza shop this week, Papa John's was like eating cake! There was flavor, and lots of sauce, and everything that makes pizza good in my Papa Johns Pizza. We live in a world where "good" is subjective. "GOOD" is being redefined as "consistently good", where you expect "good". When I want GOOD pizza, I now turn to Papa Johns, because I know what to expect, and can count on it to be good each time. Why take a chance with that other place, when you know what's coming with Papa John's? read more

Just wanted to say that this chain has went to crap!! Last week visited the location in Rockwall TX, and they literally wanted to charge me for the cheese and re pepper packets. I find this very low for any business to nickel and dime their customers!!!! Seen a many file for bankruptcy after being this desperate. Have to say I will be taking my business elsewhere!!!! read more

The pizza I ordered was raw and had spoiled onions. I called to complain and t A man who said he was the manager said he would make a notation with my number and the next order would be in the store. This was the worst Papa Johns pizza ever. We don't eat out often. Normally this location is good. But this was the grossest pizza i have ever had in my life. Worse than school cafeteria pizza. It arrived cold. The toppings weren't even in every piece. It was supposed to be original crust but it was so dry it tasted like thin and crispy. $28 in food. Something like $4 delivery fee and then tip. I won't mention how long it took to get here. I understand it is dinner time and demand is high. But man...Highly disappointing. read more

Papa Johns Pizza - Large "The Works" pizza! - Pizza Near Me - Anna, Texas

I've been a Papa John's fan for a long time (would order at least once a week). It has been a while since ordering from this location due to tight budget at home. First off when I called and asked about a teacher (which I'm a teacher) discount I was originally told yes. After ordering the pizza I was given a total of $25 and some change for 2 pizzas. I asked what the discount is and was then told they don't offer it any more due to new management. However when they told me their special prices on pizza the total should of only been $21 plus tax. Odd they wanted to charge me $25. We went home to see if we had coupons or better online deals but couldn't find any. The decision was made to go ahead to make an order (thought we would splurge for the heart pizza). My wife picked up the pizza (which we live only 1 1/2 minutes tops away) and the pizza was luke warm at best. Not to mention we had no idea the heart pizza was so small. The pizza lacked the quality that Papa John's thrives on. There wasn't much sauce on our large sausage pizza and lacked a fare coating of cheese. For the price we paid I expected better from the company. We will not be ordering from this location again. I guess we will stick to the high quality of Dominos and Little Caesars. read more

Papa Johns Pizza - pepperoni & beef pizza - Pizza Near Me - Anna, Texas

Ordered pizza delivery tonight. It was delicious and delivered by a friendly driver. Such a great experience!

Good service . Food was good . Quick and warm . Would be eating again some papa . Love the points could be bit better ;)

One day it was a 5/5 star the next was about a 3/5. No big complaint, but the pizza was overcooked one day (the bottom felt like cardboard) and the peppercini were TINY and dry. But overall a good experience when we come in. I like the staff. read more

Ordered carryout. Food was ready when arrived. Was in and out. However, only half the staff were wearing masks. Which is pretty selfish to the staff members who were wearing masks and customers. It's ridiculous that these employees who weren't wearing masks find it acceptable to spread a virus that is killing thousands a day. It shows that those employees don't care about the health and safety of their co-workers and customers. read more

I have ordered pizza from the Papa John's in Anna, TX many times...SELDOM do they get the order right....Tonight was no exception.....as usual, I ordered 6 extra garlic/butter sauces at 75 cents a pop....AGAIN I only received one.....I finally decided to call to register my complaint with the manager.....he/she was too busy to come to the phone and put their employee in the uncomfortable position of trying to placate me when I clearly needed to speak with the manager. Because of their total lack of customer service I will NEVER purchase another pizza from Papa John's of Anna, TX.....CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED!! read more

This is my favorite Papa John's. We have ordered from this location several times now. The staff is always very friendly and polite and even opened the door for me tonight while picking up my to-go order. The pizza is always prepared to order with our correct modifications and is ready exactly when they say it will be. A few months ago, the wait was about an hour, but we agreed to wait because, well, pizza. The MOD comped our ticket and profusely apologized, even though we had been fine with waiting! Usually very happy with this chain. But this location is lacking, the toppings were lacking in amount. Very little sauce and it just didn't taste like the Papa Johns back in Arkansas. It's edible and a decent last minute choice but I'm not happy and probably won't go back for a good while. read more

I frequent this location in Anna and have yet to have a problem until this evening. I have extremely picky children I called ahead to place my order and when I arrived the gentleman at the front "Stan" started giving me just disgusting excuses as to how their ovens are different then the other pizza places and that this location in Anna uses experimental cheeses. Blah blah blah. The lies got worse. I asked him when I when I arrived.. Stan when I called you said you'd started the pizza and would redo it did you restart it? He turns around and asked the guy on the line if he re did it he said no. Absolutely disgusted that this cartoon looking baboon would try and lie to me. Horrible horrible horrible customer service. I recommend using any of the other four pizza joints in Anna before going to this place using state of the art ovens and experimental cheeses. . Last time using this location! Thinks Stan good looking out! read more
