Staff is super friendly here. But what I really like about this place is they've had vegan friendly options for years. Their regular crust and gluten free crusts are vegan (but not the cauliflower crust). In addition, most of their sauces and toppings are vegan. They even have a plant-based sausage option. Mod pizza at Allen is fantastic.. every time we go their customer service is on point. Friendly and fast . Their manager is running a great place, she always asks if we need anything. The biggest issue with this location is the current staffing and their attitude, zero enthusiasm, zero patience, gets frustrated easily creating an unwelcoming environment. It's hard to want to return to this business when the staff are seemingly trying to kick you out as soon as you come in. We ordered Tristan pizza and cheesy garlic bread with pesto sauce and they were great. I like the pizza more than the garlic bread. The pizza crust is really good and pesto on any pizza just makes everything better. The service is great. We actually did a takeout and they missed a topping (Tristan has red bell peppers) so they let us keep both the pizzas and a refund because there was a long wait. We really appreciate the service, especially now because of the pandemic. We will definitely be making more trips to this place for takeouts and once it all gets better we will definitely be dining in here. Thank you! read more

MOD Pizza is great, but! This location is terrible. The pizzas were unevenly cooked, the middle is limp and raw and the edges are burnt. If you enjoy raw ingredients or recooking your pizza yourself, then you will be happy with this place! They also don't seem to know their own menu. I ordered the Pizza Salad from them twice and both times they just send a salad. I even called to confirm exactly what a pizza salad was and they still messed it up. To ensure they completely crapped on my dinner, the salad they sent had some (what I'm guessing) is old funky spinach, nasty. I don't like giving negative feedback only. The lady who created my pizza was very generous and friendly with a wonderful attitude throughout the whole pizza making process and even told me "have a good night" as I asked for boxes to pack my leftovers. This is a fast casual pizza place where you order at the counter and pick your toppings as you go. Other than other places, like Pie 5 for example, they cook the pizza in a stone oven with fire, so they come out nice and crispy. They don't scrounge on the toppings and so far all of them have been high quality. so this has become our new favorite fast pizza place! read more

REVIEW: This is our first visit to this franchise and location in the area. We checked out the menu beforehand and knew we would get a 6" pizza each and split one salad. That was more than enough food for two seasoned citizens and we still had leftovers. Other customers ordered the regular sized pizza and must have been more hungry or took leftovers. The build your own is the best option for us. We got two different setups to experiment. We will try different combo next time and a different location to check things out. We had dinner here last night. Dine in. There were about 5-6 young adults/teenagers working at the time. Most of them were more interested in being on their phones than helping the customers. As customers approached the counter to order, they just stood there rather than saying hello what can I get you, etc. Instead they just gave an awkward stare until customers began to speak. Several tables were dirty. Not only did they just need to be wiped down, but there were also dishes on some. The drink area was filthy. We were there for about 30 minutes and I never saw anyone even attempt to clean. Again they were just on the phone. You could see several of them hanging out in the back room because they stood right by the doorway. Before we left, I approached the counter and let 2 male employees know that they really needed to clean up the drink area since it was filthy. One employee said, oh is it really. He had no clue but I guess someone wouldn't know if they never bothered to check. It would require looking up from their phone. If the general dining area was that dirty, I can't imagine what it was like in areas that customers can't easily see. He did walk over to clean it. He moved slower than anyone I've ever seen before. As a matter of fact, all of the employees had 1 speed, slooooooowww. It's funny that when we paid that the transaction asks for a tip. We did tip. But, what the hell are we tipping for? They did the absolute minimum possible. Don't get me wrong, they weren't rude, just clearly clueless on what their responsibilities are. I doubt we'll be back at least to this location. If you are the manager or owner of this location, please know that the service your employees are giving is likely not on par with what you would want for your business and it's brand. read more

We ordered using the mobile app. I arrived to pickup at the time the app said which was 20 minutes later. I then had to stand inside for another 30 minutes to get our three pizzas. The store was busy which could have explained the wait except I noticed that many people who ordered in-store after I got there received their pizzas before I did. Service here has been hit and miss. The servers work extremely slow. Putting one topping on the pizza takes about 10 seconds so now imagine 30+ toppings. The owner or manager needs to be more present at this location and see what the hell is going on. I work in an industry that requires you being fast and the current employees are not it. Or hire more people. Management dropped the ball on this one. Work faster people, it's just pizza. First off, we love the Mod Pizza in Burleson. We happened to be passing through and were excited to eat at the location in Allen. We were helped by young man who honestly didn't seem like he liked much less loved his job. He exhibited zero customer skills or attempts to engage either of us through conversation. We each ordered our pizzas and I pulled out my debit card. I asked the same young man if he preferred the tip in cash or on the card. He said, "whatever you want." After I paid I said thanks and he didn't reply. I don't expect servers to fall all over themselves for a 15% tip but a simple thank you would have been nice. We received our pizza and true to form, it was pretty good. However, the restaurant itself really really and I mean really needed a cleaning. The tables hadn't been wiped down. The drink station was sticky. Someone had spilled something brown and tacky in the straws and there were none unscathed. This was all when we were one of four groups in the store. There were 5 workers standing around high fiving each other literally. So I would give this place a 4 or even a five but the lack of customer skills and ick factor make this a three. Same situation that you will find in many other local restaurants, teenagers are "running the asylum". Most of us who eat out frequently know the drill. You walk up to the counter and at their convenience they will finally recognize you and ask what you would like. You get about 6 words out before another employee rudely walks up and asks that employee a question, makes a remark, whatever. So employee that was taking your order walks away and does whatever. A minute or so later he walks up again and you start all over. This process repeats numerous times to a point where you almost leave. Nothing is correct, entire pizzas are an "oversight" so yours will come after everyone else is finished. Like I said, you know the drill. Terrible service and a owner who doesn't care because hiring this bunch probably took months. read more
