Pretty good pizza, nothing crazy but I think with the ambiance it's good to go out with friends or just a night out to switch things up. Staff has been super friendly since coming in the door. Pizza came out pretty fast and very hot (which is really good). Crust is slightly crunchy but still soft & it doesn't flop over nice support. Not to be weird but the ranch is really really good. Was at 5th Street Pizza today and wanted to post an updated review. I ordered an Italian sausage and mushroom calzone and my wife went with a Chicago style ham and pineapple pizza. The young lady at the counter was very energetic and pleasant and our food arrived quickly. We were reminded why this is our favorite pizza in Collin County. Hot, tasty and generous quantity. Watched hockey on the big screen and enjoyed a wonderful lunch. We had leftovers and they gave us a box with foil and an extra calzone sauce. Great service, food and ambience. $21 "large pizza" with "an extreme amount of" pepperoni is the same size, amount of pepperoni, and quality of the medium pepperoni pizza from Papa John's. Go save yourself ~$14 and drive across 75 to Papa John's. Place looked like a nice place to eat and the I cannot comment on the service as I ordered for takeout. However it's unfortunate whenever you would like to support local and are proven why chains exist. read more

The pizza is pretty good and the prices are amazing. You really can't find lunch deals like that these days. You can get a personal size pizza plus drink for under $10. The staff there is friendly and makes sure you get your order in a timely manner. Great for small or large groups with lots of space for everyone. They even have a private room. read more

Pizza was nothing special, but tasty nonetheless. I do appreciate the offerings in styles (St. Louis Style, Traditional, and Chicago Thin). We were debating between the Extreme and the Chicken Alfredo. Tried to get half and half, but they use different sauce bases, which is understandable. Because of this, I believe you can request half and half for any pizzas using the same sauce base. Medium pepperoni deluxe - not sure about "loads" of pepperoni, but it was pretty standard. Pepperoni nested underneath an extra layer of cheese. Standard pepperoni pizza. Large chicken alfredo - light and creamy. Not very heavy but the tomatoes were definitely fresh. Loved this take on pizza. Overall, the pizzas were not overly greasy and that was nice. You could eat them without making a mess and you won't feel any greasiness afterwards. However, as mentioned it was pretty typical without much standing out. read more

First time there. The food made my wife sick and service is below par. The ambiance is cool with a sports theme and several screens showing sports. The waitress didn't set the pizza stand before delivering the pizza. She just left the hot pizza tray directly on top of the table. The appetizer was served after the entree and the self serve soda fountain is located in a weird place (back of house). We won't be going back. read more

I totally get a 90's local pizza joint vibe from this place, albeit triple the size (space-wise) of what you get back home in Jersey. There's a pretty sizeable private party area in the back, but depending on the night may get forgotten if the dinner crowd gets busy on a weekend. read more

Really great pizza spot connected the furniture store. St. Louis style pizza and fried ravioli are both great. Ravioli had a little spiciness to it. The pepperoni rolls are amazing! Don't think of them like Double Dave's pepperoni rolls. They're basically soft, garlic bread sticks about the size of large egg rolls that are stuffed with Provel cheese and pepperoni. SO good! Not really sure how this place has gained a following they appeared to be kinda busy when I walked in which is amazing after tasting their pizza. Bbq chicken pizza probably could use a drizzle of bbq sauce on top also maybe some seasoning. The cheese was ok but could have probably used some more cheese. This was our first experience with 5th Street Pizza and unfortunately our last. We ordered a pizza for pick up and after getting home to our surprise, the middle piece was partially missing. I called and spoke to "the manager" and he basically called me a liar. not once but 3 times! I offered to send him a picture and he wasn't interested and said there was nothing he could do. Not a fan of being called a liar. The manager is the reason why we won't be back. The pizza tasted good, but customer service gets one star. Very disappointing. UPDATE: My husband received a call this morning from the owner of 5th Street Pizza personally apologizing for how we were treated by the manager. I must say we were pretty impressed that the owner took time out of his day to reach out to us, making us feel like we matter. He said he is sending us a gift card. We were supposed to have our end of season lunch for our girls U13 soccer team there, reserved weeks in advance, and the owner calls the day of, 2-hrs before our time, and cancels the event saying he doesn't want to be "babysitting" our girls, putting tables together to accommodate us, and that this is no time of the year to be holding these kinds of events. Our girls are the #1 U13 Allen Sports Association Champions that will be representing the city of Allen in the Tournament of Champions!!! He should be so lucky to be hosting this bunch of hardworking girls...his loss, and loss of business as we will never set foot in his establishment again. read more
