Whenever I miss a good ole NY slice of pizza I come to Italia Express. It doesn't get more authentic than this place. These men have perfected their pizza. It's just enough sauce, cheese and bread, not to mention how crispy the crust gets because of how perfectly thin it's made. You know your pizza is good when you don't even offer parmesan cheese or peppers, because honestly you don't need it. They're located in the Allen Outlets center next to watch station. If you're in the area stop in.

I got a veggie Stromboli and 2 marinara pizzas. Everything was good except the Stromboli needed a little more salt and the pizzas seemed like they've been sitting out for a while. However they did heat up both dishes in the oven before serving. Overall, for an outlet mall pizza location, this was pretty good!

This place is the must place if we go to Allen Outlet! Their pizza are awesome!! So good!! They also have so many different food! Must tried. Good place! The owner is also super friendly.

    Overpriced slice

Pretty decent pizzas but overpriced for a slice . Of course it's located inside an outlet so expect it to be pricier for a slice. Desperation time of hunger so we must eat to continue the shopping. Overpriced but it will do to satisfy the hunger. Slices are not big enough for its price. You must as well get a whole pizza makes no sense to me.

Perfect place to stop and refuel after an afternoon of shopping! As a pizza lover, this place made my soul happy. Quick service, clean tables and kind staff. Causal ambiance. You order at the counter and pay. They'll let you know when it's ready for pick up. There was plenty of seating, even on a Sunday! I loved that everyone was able to finish their single slices and we didn't have to carry left overs around. I can't wait to eat here again!

Cheese pizza by slice (good) and cheese bread (okay).

Great food for a mall. Service is great. Very clean. Cheese bread is a bit bland. Pizza is good! $10 for 1 cheese slice and 1 cheese bread w/tax.

So busy they stopped and smiled for me! They were literally still needing the dough when I took this!

I've been to this place when it was still in the food courts of the old layout @ Allen outlet mall! Now it's new and improved! Layout, interior equipment, space, and staff is amazing! They kept this place clean since they have opened! Their food is the same yet taste better than before! I had asked the manager/partner/owner questions. How's the rent now compared to before? It is higher because it is now considered a suite with more sqft. How is the clientele? In my opinion it is always packed and people still order Togo! How is the equipment? Brand new appliances and also bigger space. They can produce more food! Last but not least. Has your product changed? No they still keep it authentic. I had gotten a classic pepperoni slice and another with mushrooms and sausage. I had devoured both of them. My 2 year told daughter had half of the garlic twist bread. She even asked for more! My fiancé had the calzone! He never finished his food but today he did! He said he actually grew up eating here! Pizza is also not grease compared to some places I've been too! If I could eat this for a week breakfast, lunch, & dinner I would! I love love love this place and I hope you do to! They care and it shows in their food!

Good pizza, not greasy. A bit on the expensive side. It would be awesome if they had a slice and drink combo.

The house Manhatten was delicious with subtle adjustments to the traditional recipe. The Arancina Tradizionale is a fried ball of tasty saffron rice, stuffed with Bolognese and peas. Its a great appetizer with lots of subtle flavors. As an entree I had the Cacio E Pepe, the famous pasta prepared in a wheel of pecorino cheese and covered in fresh ground black pepper. The pasta was perfectly al dente, the cheese was creamy and mild, and the pepper nicely balanced the richness with a mild spice. I ordered shrimp on the side and it was well seasoned and nicely charred. My wife had the geilled salmon and loved it. We didn't really have room for dessert, but since everything else was so good, we couldn't resist trying the Tiramisu and Strawberry panna cotta. We couldn't have been happier with our choice. Be prepared for European style service and you will leave satisfied.

The menu I think had a good variety of entrees to choose from, and we both ended really liking the dishes we ordered. I ordered the pasta bolognese, and it was great. The pasta was cooked right and the sauce not super over powering. We will definitely be back to try other dishes. My only complaint was that seating is a little cramped, and everyone including the restaurant staff had to maneuver around chairs, etc. but other than that we really enjoyed our visit.

We got there thirty minutes after the 5 o'clock opening time so it wasn't yet full, so we were seated immediately. The place was lively and the menu looked promising. The wine and beer list were small, but some decent ones were offered and they have a full bar. Prices were very reasonable and portions were on the larger side and delicious too! So what's not to like? My pet peeve. The portable machine which figures tip on top of tax! When I and another in our party asked to see the itemized bill, the waitress mumbled some lame excuse that they were not "allowed" to go back to those numbers once their grand total is displayed and that tax was "not much" anyhow. Must be something to do with the programming of that infernal electronic holdup device! Anyhow, I'd certainly return BUT will be sure to tell the server I want an itemized bill before cashing out.

I feel like service could've been a little better. My refill was quite slow but overall service was decent-good. Food... was great but missing a little element here and there (personal opinion). For the Wagyu, the steak wasn't rest long enough before it was cut (not a big deal) and I personal find potatoes to not complement the steaks well due to both item was quite greasy and oily. I think we may have had an off-night on how they handled our reservation. If it weren't for that, I'd give them a 5! Food: I got the Pappardelle, my wife got the fettucine. Both were among the best we've tasted in Dallas, even compared to our current favorite Roman Cucina. We've been told to also order the brick oven half chicken and the duck, which we'll come back for. Drinks: well presented. The old fashioned had the spherical big cube, and was on the sweet side. My wife had the passion fruit juice, which had very strong flavor (preferred...you can always water it down if you need to). Ambience: beautiful & posh inside. Elegant casual outside. Once you're in, it's hard to remember that you're in a shopping center - everything from the entrance to the restrooms have a beautiful aesthetic. Service: We had a reservation indoors, but when we got there (on-time), we were told there was a 15-20 min wait unless we were willing to sit outside. It was a little bit before prime time, so we were a little surprised. We ended up taking the outdoor seating, and the weather got a little too chilly after sundown. On another day, this would have been perfectly fine (or maybe preferred)...but we figured the point of a reservation was to have the seat we wanted if we showed up on time. That said, Tania (our waitress) was great - humorous, attentive, open with her feedback on the dishes (it was our first time). All in all, a solid recommend for Italian food in N Dallas!
