Well, this is the Wylie location I went there at 2:15 PM for a pizza I was there first customer didn't even have the oven started. She said it would take a half an hour just to heat up the oven that the owner wouldn't let them start the ovens till they had their first customer which I was at 2:30 had a way to half an hour afterwards. I asked for a Dr Pepper they didn't have any so I settled for orange soda, which they made me pay for. So I don't think I'll be eating there again. read more

Minus a star because they delivered my pizza and set it on my valet trash can that was full of trash, and did not knock. Minus another star because they forgot my drink. We were in town on business and staying near by on a Monday night at 9. We walked in to a full lobby (good sign in my eyes) the gentleman was was very nice but they did seem a bit understaffed and overwhelmed. Still, lots of orders must mean they are good. We were quoted 30 minutes for our Medium meat lovers pizza and 8 wings. We decided to wait outside in our truck. Wait was pretty accurate (27 minutes) Pizza had a good taste, ingredients were portioned correctly. Pizza sauce did stand out a bit and dough on crust had a good taste. The pizza was not anything out of this world, put non the less good. Wings are baked not fried with what seemed to be baked on with the sauce so not as wet as you would expect from a traditional wing.. actually not wet at all. The BBQ ones were lacking a bit more seasoning as they barely had a hint of bbq. They were good but lacking anything special. Inside, the place doesn't look like much, but man..... can they do pizza! We first tried them a couple months ago during the big Texas freeze and blackout. After two days of living in the dark, we ordered a pizza from them that we thought was amazing! We decided to try them again when we hadn't been cold and starving for two days..... still amazing. We picked up a couple of pizzas for dinner. Great service from a nice staff located in a strip mall. Unfortunately no vegan options but you can ask for no cheese and all the veggies you can handle. The thin and thick crusts are tasty and they have a unique selection of crusts and sauces as well. The various toppings are extensive and you can can build your own or chose one of the options right off the menu. They also have salads and desserts for your sweet tooth. Much better pizza than any of the chains. In fact I don't think we will ever go back to the chain options after trying Jim's twice. Overall a great option for pizza in McKinney. read more

The photo to the left is what's advertised for the cinna stix. The right is what was given to me. Inedible, Rock hard, disgusting "food". Quite honestly it's insulting that whoever was managing the store on 12/28/21 allowed such an atrocity to leave the kitchen. Who thought this was ok to serve to someone? The "sticks" literally looked like leftover pizza crusts from unwanted orders with "frosting" just thrown on it. The dough was literally unbreakable and Rock hard & would break anyone's teeth who attempted to chew this, hence I didn't even feed this to my dog. I was really looking forward to trying this pizza since there's so much hype around it, but it's only that, HYPE. I walked in and ordered a pepperoni pizza the first night I moved there, the lady behind the counter was very friendly and nice, she let me watch her make my pizza, with all the dough made in-house. They get 2 starts for the pizza sauce and cheese tasting good but seriously- they call it a cheeseburger pizza and this was how little meat it had. 3 pieces of the entire pizza literally had only one tiny sausage crumble on them and the rest of the slices had 2 or 3. I would NEVER order from this location again. I ordered my pizza at 8:53pm. Email states it would take 35-45 mins. It's 10:15pm no pizza in sight. I call the store and the woman says she was short staffed they sent my order via door dash. I did not order through door dash I do not agree with this policy as a customer because I have no way of tracking this door dash driver. You guessed it ! The DoorDash driver stole my food. And it's now 10:45 and I have to wait another 30 mins for the store to remake my order and deliver it. I was not offered a free breadstick or anything for this issue besides a damn apology. Ordered for the first time and online. Website easy to navigate compared to other websites. I picked this pizza place b/c of the rating. Delivery was on time, which I didn't expect. Generous amount of topping on one pie but hardly any pepperoni on the other pie! Overall, they got the order correct. Good amount of salad for 4. 2 Large pies is more than enough for 4 peeps. I recently found out I'm allergic to gluten...bummer. I ordered by first gluten free pizza from Mr. Jim's. When it arrived and I opened the box I was extremely disappointed. I paid close to $27 for a medium gluten free pizza. The toppings were minimal and a couple slices didn't have any meat on them. I drove to the store to return it and get my money back. Apparently if you are unhappy with your pizza you are stuck with it. I wasn't able to get a refund. Now I'm stuck with a very expensive sad looking pizza. read more

Tried ordering from this place off Ubereats with the $15 off promotion ubereats was offering and ran into big issues with this restaurant. On their menu, there is breakfast pizza offered at anytime in the day and to quote this I was placing my order around 10pm at night. So I put the breakfast pizza on my order, then I get a message from them saying it's out of stock? Okay no problem. So I changed up my order and it says it is being processed. Then a few minutes later, the restaurant goes a head and cancels my entire order causing me to lose the $15 off promo which I can't reuse because it's been redeemed by this restaurant but since they canceled my order, I didn't benefit from the promotion nor have some pizza delivered to my place. Just ordered from this place for the first time today. I'm originally from New York so I expect a pizza to be a pizza. I had very high hopes especially with how much they charge for a pie. The small is basically you paying for a personal pan size pizza. Over priced and tasted generic. Nothing memorable at all about it. You would expect a large to be a normal 18 inch pizza..... and a extra large to be bigger then that.... well you'd be wrong I paid 19.00 for basically a medium size pie.... and once again very generic tasting. Honestly I am used to real pizza and expect not to be paying 19.00 for a pizza that is about the equivalent of what you get from dominos for 5.99. I will never order this trash again. How have I lived here for a year and not had Mr Jim's yet!?? BBQ chicken pizza is probably one of my favorite foods and a good yardstick to use when comparing different pizza places. Mr Jim's BBQ pizza was phenomenal. Nice and tangy sauce, good quality white meat chicken, and bell peppers (different but good!) We also got baked lasagna and that was delicious. Good flavor, baked nice and crisp on top, and it had an excellent ratio of noodles to cheese, sauce, and meat. This will be our new go-to when we want pizza for sure! read more
