Service: This is a counter order establishment. The pizzas are made to order so we waited about 15-20 minutes for our food to be ready! Food: The pizza chain originated in Chicago, which I've never heard of before. It doesn't appear that they have any restaurants in Chicago any longer. The food was amazing! We customized our medium pizza and it was the perfect amount of food for the both of us. I had 3 slices and my husband had about 5 slices! This was impressive. It seemed like a pretty standard pizza place, but I actually found myself wishing I had more after devouring more than half a pizza. We went with a build your own, with sausage, onion, and green pepper on thin crust. TIP: get the garlic butter crust and the hot honey drizzle! It's counter order style (which is not entirely clear when you walk in), so you place the order up at the bar and grab a table number. Also, there are options "by the slice" if you come alone and don't feel brave enough to tackle a whole pizza (you may regret not getting one though!). I've been to many pizza places on the north side of DFW, and I honestly have to say this is certainly up there with the best ones. It's clear that this is poorly run and unorganized. I called 4:32 to place an orders. I was told 15 minutes. When I arrived again 4:50 to pick up my order. I was told they never put my order in. After receiving the pizza food it didn't look much better than a fast food chain pizza. The pizza was lackluster to say the least, I couldn't even finish a slice due to the poor taste. To top it off my family got food poisoning from this pizza and my toddler was throwing up all night after eating it. Walked in the ambiance is a cool , clean and friendly vibe. The bathroom was very well kept, smelled fresh and was cleaned that's a major thing for me when dining out. My suggestion for the manager and staff would be to ask customers upon placing order " thick or thin crust" if they had not already specified. Love the food. The mgmt needs to spend more time on cleaning. The mat in front of the soda machine sticky (nasty). Fruit flies are in the space and that means you're leaving fruit out uncovered or not taking care of it when it comes in. Windows are super dirty as are the booths. Use a vacuum on the booths to get in between cushions. No one wants to sit in a place full of crumbs. Also, during busy times, you need more than one person up front. Got my pizza immediately but had to wait 10 min for salad. Again, love the food, but the lack of cleanliness of the place really turned me off today. read more

You can tell their ingredients are FRESH and the dough/ crust is phenomenal. I usually don't eat the crust on pizza but nothing from my plate gets left behind here! Great pizza options and able to customize size as well as toppings. Price is very reasonable. I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of the pizza the crust. It is a nice thickness , a nice texture and toppings are plentiful. The staff was very friendly. The table seemed relatively clean however the kids area could be kept cleaner. It's understandable though because there were constantly kids dumping out all of the toys. The toys do feel a bit grimy as well however they're in good condition. There's a nice variety including a play kitchen, Legos, small kids table, building blocks, and TV. The fountain refill is self-service. They have a wall of TVs for you to watch whatever sports are on TV. They also have beers on tap with a nice selection that includes about 15 different beers. I ordered a sausage pizza and it was perfection. I love a crust that has some bite to it, it was flavorful and well cooked. I'm not one for the kitchen sink on my pizza--give me enough cheese for a good pull and a crispy, yummy sausage--and Barrow's did just that! While in Texas visiting my son he told us about this amazing place to get pizza and wings. Barro's Pizza has a nice family atmosphere and the staff is very helpful. They also serve beer and a variety of sodas. We did two pizzas a XL meat lovers and a large veggie pizza. The wings were delicious if you like spicy get the mango habanero. We LOVED this pizza! The crust is thick, with just the right ratio of crunch to chewy. The sauce is spicy, as is Italian sausage, and the toppings are plentiful. The workers were friendly enough, but we were a bit put off by the cheap plates and utensils. And all of the televisions. We ate here on 1/04/22 at 11:15am, and only one other party was present while we ate (a party of 3 men came in after us). It's new, so the place was very clean.
