I've given this location multiple chances and the quality has been consistently poor. On one visit, my order was incorrect and poorly prepared. I spoke directly with a regional manager who was on site at the time. She acknowledged the issue, was surprised it happened while she was there, and told me to come back and the same order would be made for free. She also said she would address training and monitor the staff. I returned a few weeks later expecting improvement, but the replacement order was even worse. I ordered multiple flavors, and none of them were properly seasoned. Everything tasted the same -- no Cajun, no lemon pepper, barely any seasoning at all. At this point, it's clear this is not a one-time issue but a consistent problem, even after management was made aware. I can't recommend this location. read more

This Wingstop should be closed permanently. Several times i have patroned this location only to have every take out order done completely wrong. when i get home i never get what i ordered. I have tried to call the shop and speak with the manager to get a refund, but the recording states the box is full. every time Simple small orders nothing large or elaborate and they never get it right. I have patroned Wingstop in Allen Tx and they are courteous and professional and get my order right. I ordered from here, called to check on the order and the second I was done speaking I was abruptly hung up on, not a single word from the associate before the hang up... I called again, was let to ring. At this point was annoyed so I called one more time and was answered by someone other than the initial person. Hate to be that person but I asked for a manger, who I will say, although I didn't get the name, was a very nice man. I've been going to Wing Stop since I moved here 25 years ago. Allen, Frisco, and McKinney are amazing. This is the third and last time I will be going to the Wing Stop in Melissa. They are very rude, and, "if you don't look like them, be prepared to be ignored or treated like you are interrupting them. They are very discriminating . My 10-year-old granddaughter daughter noticed the rude treatment right away . I stood at the front register and not one person came to help me. Someone walked in from the outside that looked like them and the gentleman immediately walked over and askihow he could help. I had to walk over to the pick up window and asked the female working is there a reason no one has come over to take my order she said she didn't know, and the same gentleman that looked at me several times made an attempt to walk up to the front, turnaround and went back said he wasn't a cashier so he couldn't help me. Three minutes later someone walked in to purchase an extra ranch and the same gentleman that said he wasn't a cashier walked up to the cash register took her money and helped her. When my order was ready the lady put my bag on the counter called my name turned around and walked off NO Thank You, NOTHING!!! Plenty of tables and room to move around. They were short handed on an NFL Sunday gameday, so it took a little time to get my food, but not bad under the circumstances. I can't imagine how difficult it is to staff a wing restaurant on a football Sunday. The people were very nice, even though they were under pressure. I have given this location several opportunities and it falls short every time. Tonight we had a gathering for a Stars game. We ordered 75 wings. The order said it would be ready at 5:30pm. We showed up at 5:30pm and they hadn't even started the order yet. I'm going to keep this short; 1. 45 minutes late 2. Lemon Pepper wings had NO seasoning, literally were plain wings. 3. Garlic Parm wings had very little seasoning 4. Did not receive the large ranch that was paid for Obviously a huge disappointment when you have guests over and paid $130 for wings and only half of them are even edible, but do not even have ranch (the best thing at Wingstop). I have experienced this too much here. I will drive 10 miles further for the Buffalo Wild Wings in McKinney. Here's a few things influencing my review: - Stopped in at 4:45pm last Sunday. Restaurant is empty except for me, and the workers. - I ordered my food to-go. - The Coke Freestyle machine station is full of trash. No place to set a cup. - The workers that aren't working on my order are standing around talking, while every table in the restaurant is dirty, the men's restroom is out of paper towels, and the hot water was left running when I entered the restroom (by who knows? Employee or customer, take your pick). - 5:03pm, 2nd customer enters. So, in my experience with Wingstop in the past (I typically eat at the ones near Love Field), I was shocked to see a relatively new location go downhill so fast. This fails my expectations for Melissa, TX. I would rather see the problems fixed than be compensated for my experience. I would rather see change made than restaurant closed, as I love the food. The kids that work here need to be taught restaurant basics 101 - how to run an establishment. I think they think they just take orders and that's that. There's so much more to keeping a place like this running. If I return, it's for the food. Something in it is addicting. But I won't eat in the restaurant until it shows they've made attempts to clean the place. My car in the parking lot seems to be an invitation for more customers. I order large group packs from Wingstop regularly and when this Melissa location opened up I was happy to start ordering close to home since I live in Melissa. Every time I get my order though, always something is missing. Usually I order through door dash so when something is missing there's nothing I can do about it except call for the credit. Well I called to tell them about my credit, not only was I talked over several times by this "assistant manager", I was also hung up on. According to her, she didn't see my name listed. I guess asking her if she was the store manager was offensive and telling her that I've never been talked to so rudely was means to be hung. The slowest Wingstop service I ever had. Ordered online and still had to wait an extra 15mins. Walked inside and no other customer except for myself was there so not sure wth these kids was doing. The place is ran by high school students, moving very slow no effort to get the orders out in time. I stay literally 3mins away, I'd rather drive 15-20mins away just for faster and greater service. Utter disappointment on our day off! Order $53 worth of wings from this store through the Wing Stop app, to be delivered by Door Dash. They kept the driver waiting at the store for over 20 minutes for " the fries," so the wings were cold when they got here, the fries were not well done and have no seasoning (supposed to have extra seasoning and be well done), and half of the wings have almost no seasoning on them at all. Called to complain and the manager said they'd "gotten busy" and gave us a store credit. What a giant waste of money, and now we have to order from them again to make up for it.
