The service was top notch. Raquel let was so helpful and nice. We were able to try the flavors as it was our first time. We went on a Tuesday coincidentally where they have 70 cent bone in wings. We had the awesome sauce (kinda like a honey gold flavor), Buffalo lemon pepper, and the snobby Q sauce which is like a milder version of Harold's chicken sauce. all were really good and I can't wait to go back. It's a place you can eat in but I don't suggest huge parties. It's clean. Staff is superb & our order was ready quick. I ordered two 8-piece wing deals for carry out. To start, I had to prepare our own drinks when we picked up the order. But that wasn't the craziest thing.... When I got home and opened the boxes, all there was inside were 8 unflavored boneless wings and fries - the sauces we selected were in small plastic cups! Like dipping sauces! None of them were prepared like we see on the ads or commercials - or like I get them from the Frisco store! This was lower quality than l've ever seen - I've seen free food look and taste better! I thought I could order the same tasty wings that the Frisco store makes at the Allen store - Man, was I wrong! I recommend NO ONE EVER order from this Wing Snob! The service was excellent from the moment I walked in. The gentleman up front was very welcoming and polite. I always enjoy the ambiance of the various wing snob locations. I really like the vibe the places have. The food itself was good. I ordered the 5 piece chicken tenders, tossed in lemon pepper. The lemon pepper seasoning itself is incredible. They have both boneless and bone in. I have a combo with 5 of them each. 5 sweet habanero and 5 hot af. Both are good. The hot af is not as hot as blazing at Buffalo Wild wings, but good. Ok I want to love this place but it's just ok... I got the tenders crispy tossed in Buffalo lemon pepper. They weren't crispy (cuz they were tossed, but that was the point) and they were just over cooked. Maybe that's my fault. Also I got three blue cheeses with my tenders but I specifically ordered a fourth with the fries and paid for it but it never came. Also and this may make me a snob (isn't that the point?!?!) but blue cheese should be home made to be good. The Kens or whatever has that preservative acidic taste that just is crap. Make that stuff! This is gross and not necessary. Needs plastic containers for the oily, melted butter fries. Not sure how that's going to taste when they are this drenched. This was taking out the boxes to check the order. Guess the tip is check the order on the counter so they clean after themselves instead of you wearing the excess fats? The chicken is over cooked a bit so kind of stringer but still tender and fresh. The snobby q sauce is decent. The sweet chili is boring. The teriyaki is ok. The awesome sauce is decent too. They all taste super processed, like from a bag. Maybe get dry or dry rub chicken if you don't like the processed taste. Dinner solution. Thanks to my fellow yelpers - this wing place came up on my searches sometime ago. We've had them several times and I have been behind on providing s rating. Let's talk: The traditional wings are our go-to - fried just right - not hard like some other places. The teriyaki, awesome sauce and sweet chili reign. We finish off the veggies and the fries with order. Blue cheese and Ranch are our sauces, although spicy ranch has also been ordered from time to time. Our only experience has been take out and the order is always right. The staff has been attentive to us as we've interacted to learn more about the chain. My wife and I tried Wing Snob (WS) for the first time, this evening. I reluctantly gave WS three solid stars, but really would love to give it more! This, mainly because I have the impression this is a fledgling business, doing a great job with what they have, and capable of doing so much more given the right circumstances. We both ordered the 10-piece, traditional meal with Creamy Coleslaw. The coleslaw wasn't very "creamy" though... But, it was quite yummy! The only thing lacking about the coleslaw was... well... coleslaw! Meaning: the portion size for a side item was waaay tooo smalll!! For wings, we both had the Buffalo (I had five of those) and I had five of the Hot AF. She had the Ranch Dressing and I had Blue Cheese. The "sweet mild" Buffalo were reported as being a bit more on the medium side of the heat scale, with an increasing heat the more consumed. I can't corroborate the opinion on the Buffalo, since I started with the Hot AF and sizzled my taste buds off a little. The Hot AF were a very nice 10 on the heat scale and also increased in heat as I ate them. Our meals arrived timely and fresh! The wings were temperature hot, tasted very good and were of a size that made them price worthy. As for the dressings, both were yummy, even though I personally prefer "chunkier" Blue Cheese. WS's Blue Cheese is very creamy and has almost no chunks. No chunks = Baaad. I hoped for more choices of the savory flavors of wing sauces; only four of the 12 sauces are savory - the other eight are sweet. Had there been more savory choices, I likely would not have ordered the Hot AF and would have opted for something else... savory. The staff at WS was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean albeit pretty small, with seating for about 16-20 max! The Men's restroom was clean and well stocked. Because I believe in supporting small businesses, I would definitely eat at WS again, but I can't see my rating increasing, simply because I believe WS is foremost focused on selling wings and fries, and selling most of those "To Go." If you choose WS as your place for wings, you won't be disappointed with the wings! Anything else, however, will be entirely up to YOUR tastes! Eat well. Be well. Cheers! read more

We got 2 flavors for wings, mango habanero and awesome sauce. The mango habanero wasn't very spicy at all. My spice tolerance is normal and I thought it could've been spicier. We ordered to go the night of the college football championship. It took a lot longer than expected because they hadn't planned for a Monday night dinner rush. They gave a complimentary huge slice of cheesecake for the longer wait which was a nice gesture except the cheesecake tasted like plastic. I was a little disappointed that the veggie sticks had only three carrots and a lot of celery included, but the wings made up for it. They were fantastic. Really great wings for a reasonable price. A lot cheaper than pluckers right now and the wings has a good amount of meat on them and were cooked right. We will try them again for sure. Never again. A friend was gonna make a bunch of food for the Super Bowl, but was convinced by a few others in our group we should pre-order Wing Snob instead. Big mistake. We ordered days in advance. We placed multiple orders, but booked them all to be picked up at the same time a little before the game. Now, I do understand it's a CRAZY day for getting take out, but that's why we booked ahead. It was a nightmare at pick up, very chaotic and people were stressed: both patrons and workers. Understandably so. It is what it is on that kind of occasion. We were a little annoyed, but would have never complained and even expected it. Food was just a little behind schedule, nothing terrible. But they told us, at pick up, that they were out of cauliflower wings. You had 2 days to check inventory. Did they sell them to other people before they got to our order even though we ordered and paid first? Who knows, but someone dropped the ball there. We were told they called to let us know, but if they did, they called from an unknown number not associated with Wing Snob and left no message, so that's a big IF, and was entirely unhelpful for the situation without a voicemail.The friend who wanted to make the food doesn't eat meat, so the cauliflower wings were the only option and she was left with nothing last minute and had to make food at home while the game was on while everyone else got to eat their take out. Not cool. But that's not the worst part..... So they said they refunded the meal. A few days go by. No refund. Call and are basically told oops not sure what happened, but we'll apply it now, it should show up in a few days. It doesn't. Call again and are basically told they have no idea what to do. Okaaaaaay. Emailed a few times too and those went mostly unanswered. Finally, my friend got a voicemail (NOT from a Wing Snob number, but from a number that google says is related to a senior living facility????) that basically said "hey, we have no idea how to get the refund to go through, so come back in and we'll make you some wings." Didn't mention a refund or what kind of wings, so it made it seem like they'd just give us some unidentified wings and that's that (at this point we didn't even know if they still even offer cauliflower and the person doesn't eat chicken....). Then, FINALLY, a follow up email basically saying if you come in we'll give you a cash refund AND make you the cauliflower wings on us. Okay, okay, we're getting somewhere. Except, we don't normally go to Allen and this would NOT be convenient for us. Appreciate the gesture, it was the right thing to do, but it was still very appreciated. HOWEVER, we immediately told them as appreciated as that was, we wouldn't be near them anytime soon (and the day they first asked us to come in it was a dangerous thunderstorm day no one should ever be driving in anyway!). Just asked for the refund to be mailed instead. Crickets. Wrote them again a couple WEEKS later to ask why no refund was sent. They accidentally replied to the email IMMEDIATELY, but it was just a blank reply. VERY clear that they had read the email and meant to ignore it, but hit reply instead. My friend wrote back and was like hey were you trying to reply because it was blank. Nothing. Haven't heard anything since. It's been over a month since the last communication, all initiated by my friend, and now well over two months since the event. They clearly are not going to give the money back unless WE make the effort (and honestly, I wouldn't be surprised at this point if we did go there and the employees had no idea what we were talking about). Of course, I'm just speculating there. But not willing to go out of our way to find out. So basically that's theft, taking our money for an order and not providing said order nor a refund. We offered mail, zelle, venmo, figure out how to refund it from their POS.....ANYTHING. It's not our responsibility to go back to the store to remedy their mistake. On top of ALL that, one meal we ordered did not come with the drink or cole slaw we paid for. We would have just let that slide even though that's another, what, $5-6 of missing items, so worth noting. Adding up in total to $20+ of missing product, & we also tipped a little, which wish we hadn't now! Terrible communication and (lack of) follow through. When you pre-order they say they will text you when your order is ready. We got no such text. Since you pick a time, not a big deal, but why offer that service when you don't provide it? The food itself is also hit or miss. Will admit some people did really enjoy theirs, while others thought some of the sauces were WAY too sweet and for the $1 they charge to put it on fries they put VERY little, the fries are very bland, cornbread isn't *bad* but is mediocre especially at $2/piece, etc. But even the people who like theirs said it used to be better on previous visits. The ranch is subpar. Boneless wings got the highest praise. But doesn't matter now. read more

Wing Snob is located in a tiny, congested strip mall. The one way in one way out parking lot is cumbersome to navigate during busy times. The inside is nice, but small. They have TVs mounted for your sports viewing pleasure. They have many wing flavors listed, however availability isn't plentiful. I wanted to try their signature dry rub Snobby Salts and they were out. Dang, didn't y'all just open your doors and you're already out of stuff? Ohhhh ok, supply chain issues. Got it! I love trying out new places, and I love chicken wings even more, so I was excited to give WingSnob a try while I was out running an errand on my lunch hour a few weeks ago. I'm sorry to say that my experience was awful! I'm not sure if the dude behind the counter was high or asleep on his feet, but he definitely didn't seem like he was 100% there. I had to repeat my order three times before he put it in correctly. As it'll be relevant later, I ordered an 8-piece traditional wing combo, half Buffalo Parmesan, half Lemon Pepper, with a medium Mac and Cheese, and bleu cheese dipping sauce. It was 25 minutes before my order was ready. Normally, I wouldn't mind waiting; I understand it takes time to cook, but given that it is a fast casual restaurant, and that I had to get back to work, that sort of wait time is too much, especially considering I was only 1 out of 2 customers in the place. The cook finally finished my to-go meal, and I thanked him and left. I would have to eat on my way back, as now it was too late to eat there. At a red light, I tried a bite of the Mac and cheese. It was stone cold, and I wasn't more than a couple of minutes away from the restaurant! I then looked at the wings, and those were wrong too. Instead of Buffalo Parmesan and Lemon Pepper, I had Buffalo Lemon Pepper and Garlic Parm, as well as Ranch instead of the Bleu cheese I had ordered. I was too pressed for time to take it back, so I ate the wings. The texture of the chicken was rubbery and I found the spices to be bland. I was really disappointed in the quality of the meal, and I won't be returning. I was excited to try Wing Snob but was highly disappointed. To start off, they had no carrots or celery which is extremely surprising for a wing place. The boneless wings were a comparable size to Chick-fil-A's nuggets. The same size nuggets were on the chicken mini sandwiches. 2 mini chicken sandwiches are certainly not enough for a dinner sized portion. The coleslaw was brown and not fresh. The sauces were great but not enough to return. For the amount charged here, it is not worth it. read more

This place does not deserve four stars in my opinion. I'm not the kind of person to thrash restaurants because of one or two mistakes, but Wing Snob does not come close to other wing places. For starters, when I picked up my order, I was reassured ranch was in my bag ( which you have to pay for, no biggie ), but that was a lie. The person didn't even check my receipt to give me my drink OR my cheesecake. Mind you, I remembered to ask for my drink but not the cheesecake, so that's kind of on me, but then again, you shouldn't have to remind them of what you paid for. Come home, try out the wings- very subpar. You can taste the inspiration in the sauce I.e. the sweet chili flavor but other than that there was no significant flavors that you would get at say Pluckers or Wingstop. Fries were fries I guess nothing to really write home about there. Now onto the sliders, which I am attaching a picture of. I went through one whole one and got a brief nauseating wave flush over me, but I disregarded it. Went for the second slider, and lo and behold, it's raw in the center of the chicken breast! No bs you can see for yourself! Now, just to add context I came here when it was not busy and not even close to them closing down for the night! So there shouldn't be any reason for undone chicken. And seriously, who doesn't check the receipt for drinks, desserts, etc before handing food to your patron? Also, online it said my order would be ready at 9:42 right ? Funny how I got the text that my food was ready at 10:07. If I had waited for the text notification my food would've been cold and I would've had yet another thing to rant about.....you can't make this stuff up man this place needs to step up it's game read more
