B5. Beef Broccoll

Ordered takeout last night and wasn't quite satisfied. The orange chicken was really chewy and I couldn't manage to breakdown half of the pieces. The fried rice was subpar, didn't include any veggies and just a sliver of egg. I will say that the crab Rangoon is good and the Thai tea was delicious! I would go back for the Thai tea, it was $5 and in a pretty large cup. In regards to the food, I don't think I'd order from here again.

We came as first customers on their opening day! Easy to park in front of the store. Plenty space to sit inside. Their floor and booth seats are clean and not sticky! Their food taste fresh and not too salty or oil. I love their Kung Pao chicken and Cumin Beef a lot. The Sweet & Sour pork taste exactly the same as the dishes where it came from! Reasonable price and good portion. And they have a clean restroom. We will be back.

Ordered to go and had the following: Green beans: 4 out 5. This was the best thing we had! Full of flavor and pretty good. Came with white rice. Chicken fried rice 2.5 out of 5. The taste was off and veggies and rice needed to be cooked longer. Chicken udon noodle 3 out of 5. Bland and no flavor. Beef flat noodles 3 out of 5. Bland and no flavor.

We came here Saturday night around 5:30ish. They were semi busy; definitely busy with take out. The guy at the counter who took our order was friendly. The place is actually very pretty inside; I was honestly expecting just a take out place but the seating area is nicely done. They definitely need a designated take out area because people were just piled in not knowing where to go. They don't have fountain drinks which may pose a problem with some folks. And the food came out fairly quick; it came staggered out but all in all in a timely fashion. We ordered a good amount of food. We ordered the chicken eggrolls which were decent but nothing fabulous. 3/5 on those. The crab rangoon which I liked better 4/5. My complaint would be the consistency on the sauce for both appetizers; it was sooooo runny. And a Mae Ploy sauce might be a better alternative. The kids split a chicken on a stick kids meal, which was good, they liked it. My husband ordered the sesame chicken and his friend a spicy orange chicken. I normally do not like the "Americanized" dishes like those, but if you're into fried chicken with a sauce both of them were decently tasty. I ordered the spicy scallops with garlic sauce and the mapo tofu with minced pork. Both were tasty but the tofu was my favorite. 5/5 on that one for me. They actually used Szechuan peppers and weren't afraid to use it! Great balance in flavor and spice. I think this place will do decent after they work all the kinks out and get a rhythm going. Definitely better than the other place by Lemon Drop with better pricing. I do like they have a more authentic selection in some dishes. Definitely will come back in a few months to reevaluate my review; but it wasn't terrible!

The spicy ramen is what I order every time. I rate it 4.5 out of 5 stars. The fried rice is average. The service is great as well.

Absolutely the worst Chinese food I have ever had. We ordered multiple things and everything was bland and overcooked. Money wasted.

Decent Chinese food for good prices. Will go again. Lunch special is a good deal, like 10 bucks.

3.5 The food wasn't bad but I've just been to other places…read morein McKinney that had better selections for sushi. TLDR: Their menu was massive with so many different options which I think is good for people who want to try different things but it may be a little too big of a menu. Food was just ok. It may be beneficial to lessen items on menu and really focus on some key dishes they want to highlight. Everything imo was priced a little on the high side, at least $1-2 more than I would pay for the quality of the dish. They do pack their specialty rolls with a lot of ingredients and with inflation I'm sure they priced it accordingly to keep their business running, so I'm not docking off too much points for that. Review: They offered regular sushi rolls but disappointing to see that yellowtail was not on their menu for rolls (they did have it as an option for 2pc sushi/sashimi). I ordered a smoked salmon 2pc sushi which was pretty good and decently sized so probably worth the ~$5 price point for 2pc. I did not order any other ones from the 2pc menu so not sure if all the fish are portioned that way. Regarding their regular rolls, my husband enjoyed the Philadelphia rolls and said he could taste the smoked salmon, so for both of us a win on the smoked salmon. My other order was part of their specialty rolls...Salmon Lover priced at ~$13 with 8pc. Imo the pieces were quite small for a specialty roll and it tasted ok. There was supposed to be a honey wasabi sauce on there which I felt like was overpowered by the amount of spicy mayo on the dish. I wanted to like it so badly but I figured reading off of the ingredients list that it would have a kick to it, and it did not. It's not marked as a spicy roll, so probably not intended to be spicy? But with spicy mayo and jalapeño surely there would be some mild kick to it, and the flavor just kinda fell flat and tasted like...too much mayo. The highlight of this experience was the service. The young lady who took our order was super nice and cheery. Checked up on us at appropriate times and I saw she was also working on other tasks around the restaurant. I am willing to try this place again in the future as the vibes were nice, it def gives Japanese izakaya and looks like a good place to have dinner with some friends. Maybe I'll try their ramen instead next time!

Five people could've easily sent here, but I want the hopeful to myself. I could see the whole restaurant from sitting right where I am and it feels perfect. I just stopped in for a quick bite to eat, hoping to get some fried rice and I came in and found my favorite thing on the menu... bang bang shrimp... and there is such a backstory for me and bang bang shrimp but just numb last night my family chose to go to Olive Garden instead of going to bonefish Grill. I really want a bang bang shrimp and today guess what I ordered??? you got it bang bang shrimp!!! and it came out first before the other entrée which was veggie fried rice. My bill is about $27 and that's fine because I'm the main character of the story and every grain of rice was worth it. Perfect place for a self-care day that I stumbled across. Oh and let me not forget my server, Ajah. She was so adorable and so kind. I just wanted to take her home and put her in my pocket and pull her out anytime I need to pick me up or Bestie to talk to. The food was beyond delicious and the service was beyond great 10 out of 10, but definitely come back again!!!

Being new to Melissa I wanted to try a new Chinese food place instead of driving down all the way…read moreto my regular place, before this incident, I had came here twice and got the same thing both times, shrimp fried rice no veggies and shrimp lo mein no veggies. The third time was no different, I got the same thing, placed the order, paid for it, and went home to eat. Unfortunately while eating, my sister's kids meal fried rice had a hair in it. Right after finding it I called the store and told them that I found it, the lady who answered was super nice and apologized for the mistake, she told us that we could come in and get our order remade. Both orders. We went in today, a day after, and let the guy and lady know that we were coming in for our remake order. They found it odd but started to make out order, as we were patiently waiting the guy comes up to us and claims he made the order right, and that it was our fault for making the order confusing, he said and I quote "check it next time." Having your own business is risky enough and telling someone that, 2 young girls to be exact, is incredibly unprofessional and rude. Safe to say that I will never be back, i'll gladly go back to China Express in Anna Tx!!
