I don't really write very many reviews, but I am big on reading reviews of places that I go eat at. I just left this place of business as I went there to have dinner so I wanted to leave a review that might be helpful to others considering how there are a lot of mixed reviews. I noticed how all of the bad reviews spoke about how terrible the food was, but I also noticed how all of the good reviews spoke on how great the food was - so I was very torn on giving it a try. I can't speak for everything on the menu as I only had two of the items, but I can speak on how great the two items were. I ordered the spicy edamame as an appetizer and it was probably top 5 out of all the ones that I've ever had - though I will say that if you don't like spice, I wouldn't recommend because it definitely has a kick to it but nonetheless delicious. For my main entrée, I ordered the general tso chicken and while I was hesitant because I saw some of the bad reviews about this one I still decided to give it a try because it's one of my favorite entrées and let me just say it did not disappoint. It was full of flavor and had the perfect texture/crunch to it- the chicken tasted great and the sauce was phenomenal so I'm not too sure what the bad reviews were about. I will also add that I am very particular about the food that I eat (my poor bf having to deal with this lol), especially when it comes to chicken, so take my word when I say that this was a fantastic dish. My boyfriend also ordered an appetizer which I think was the chicken spring roll and then had the lo mein beef entrée(I believe) - both of which he enjoyed. I also want to add how big the portions were for the entrées, which was really nice because you can always take the rest home as leftovers and enjoy it as a second meal. Overall, I will be returning to this place of business and it's very unfortunate to read all of the bad reviews and know that I almost didn't give it a chance, but I'm really glad that I did. :) One more thing I wanted to add was how friendly the staff was in my interactions with them! Unfortunately my food had a bad taste to it. The chicken seemed to be borderline spoiled/sour, and the rice was not fresh and smelled off putting. I really hate writing bad reviews, and maybe they just had an off day. The food arrived very very hot, and I ordered off of Uber. I could not recommend this place. I ordered a beef fried rice. It was OLD rice with no flavor and the Beef seemed defrosted, chewy and Old as well. I order wonton soup asking the waitress how many wontons in the large size? Ordered takeout last night and wasn't quite satisfied. The orange chicken was really chewy and I couldn't manage to breakdown half of the pieces. The fried rice was subpar, didn't include any veggies and just a sliver of egg. I will say that the crab Rangoon is good and the Thai tea was delicious! I would go back for the Thai tea, it was $5 and in a pretty large cup. In regards to the food, I don't think I'd order from here again. read more

We came as first customers on their opening day! Easy to park in front of the store. Plenty space to sit inside. Their floor and booth seats are clean and not sticky! Their food taste fresh and not too salty or oil. I love their Kung Pao chicken and Cumin Beef a lot. The Sweet & Sour pork taste exactly the same as the dishes where it came from! Reasonable price and good portion. And they have a clean restroom. We will be back. read more

We came here Saturday night around 5:30ish. They were semi busy; definitely busy with take out. The guy at the counter who took our order was friendly. The place is actually very pretty inside; I was honestly expecting just a take out place but the seating area is nicely done. They definitely need a designated take out area because people were just piled in not knowing where to go. They don't have fountain drinks which may pose a problem with some folks. And the food came out fairly quick; it came staggered out but all in all in a timely fashion. We ordered a good amount of food. We ordered the chicken eggrolls which were decent but nothing fabulous. 3/5 on those. The crab rangoon which I liked better 4/5. My complaint would be the consistency on the sauce for both appetizers; it was sooooo runny. And a Mae Ploy sauce might be a better alternative. The kids split a chicken on a stick kids meal, which was good, they liked it. My husband ordered the sesame chicken and his friend a spicy orange chicken. I normally do not like the "Americanized" dishes like those, but if you're into fried chicken with a sauce both of them were decently tasty. I ordered the spicy scallops with garlic sauce and the mapo tofu with minced pork. Both were tasty but the tofu was my favorite. 5/5 on that one for me. They actually used Szechuan peppers and weren't afraid to use it! Great balance in flavor and spice. I think this place will do decent after they work all the kinks out and get a rhythm going. Definitely better than the other place by Lemon Drop with better pricing. I do like they have a more authentic selection in some dishes. Definitely will come back in a few months to reevaluate my review; but it wasn't terrible! read more

Twice I have been to this restaurant- ordered sweet & sour chicken the first time and General tso chicken second time - both times the meat was very dry and chewy, seemed like it had been either re-cooked or old - overly, thickly coated with sauce - egg rolls tasted like they were frozen product - bottled water lid was not sealed indicating it was re-used - counter service was pleasant, the restaurant itself was nice and clean - won't go back - meat being re-used or re-heated, something very off with the meat. This had to be the worst Chinese food I've ever had in my life. The chicken had been soaked in the sauce for what seemed like it had to be for days. It was so dry. The fried rice was sticky and dry. The egg in it was stringy and dry. There was no moisture to anything if they had put the sweet-and-sour sauce in a cup separate like any other Chinese restaurant Then it would've added some moisture, but everything was sticky and dry and had to been sitting cooked pre-cooked before I ever ordered it I will not be going back. I cannot attest to ambience because I've not been inside. I ordered this for pick up. The service was quick but now I know why because it had to been pre-cooked for days. read more

The spicy ramen is what I order every time. I rate it 4.5 out of 5 stars. The fried rice is average. The service is great as well.

My husband and I came in here for lunch and did one of the lunch specials each he had the sweet-and-sour chicken with pineapple white rice and eggroll and I had chicken with vegetables and egg drop soup. This is the nicest Chinese food I have had in a very long time we're so glad that it's local. It's very nicely decorated inside and the people that own it and serve are very attentive. Seafood fried rice-3.7 Shrimp fried rice-4.2 Po Po platter-3.7 Crab and cheese egg rolls-4.2 Tonkatsu Ramen-3.6 Sweet and Sour Ribs-4.5 Sesame Chicken-4.3 Orange Chicken-3.4 Thai Tea-4.5 We also tried a flat noodle dish and it was pretty good as well. Overall good experience. Service is very friendly and interior is nice. We had take out once and dined in once. Very nice to have a good Chinese spot here in Melissa. Everything we ordered was bland and tasteless, lacking any real flavor or seasoning. It honestly felt like the dishes had been reheated rather than freshly prepared, and they arrived suspiciously fast under two minutes from ordering which only reinforced that impression. Our lunch entrees are always hot, fresh, and delicious! We appreciate the healthy options on the lunch menu and the soups are super flavorful. My "go to" is the Moo Goo Gai Pan and I request the white sauce, otherwise, it is made with a brown sauce. The brown sauce is tasty, but I prefer the white sauce. Food was super dry. There was practically no sauce. The fried rice was a $1.50 upcharge, and it was just soy sauce added. There was no vegetables, no egg, nothing extra. The white rice was very gummy, and tasted like minute rice. Sweet and sour sauce was very runny and watered down. Meat was very tough and chewy, had to throw away 50% of the chicken. Our food came out fast, hot, fresh, and very tasty. We each ordered a lunch special and had the onion soup. We enjoyed our meal and portions were generous. It was nice to enjoy red bell pepper and delicious mushrooms in my Moo Goo Gai Pan. While the sauce isn't a typical white sauce served at most other Chinese restaurants/take-out, it was very good and not too sweet.
