I had a craving for Chinese food and this place satisfied it! I got the spicy beef and broccoli with fried rice. I wasn't expecting much of the fried rice since it's a side usually it doesn't have much flavor. Boy was that assumption wrong here. The fried rice tasted just as good as if it was made for a main dish. What won me over was the customer service everyone was so nice. They have cheaper lunch specials inside and he told me just to take a picture and order from there. They certainly earned my continued business. read more

Tried this place out for dinner take out last night. We were craving takeout! And I must say I was very impressed with the food for being fast Chinese food. All the portions were great and hefty! And the prices were very good. My husband got the sesame chicken, which he said was good (I'm not a fan of any sesame chicken), we got the fried dumplings and the crab rangoons, I got the moo goo Gai pan and our girls split some plain lo mein. The apps were delicious and not soggy at all. The girls noodles were delicious (most places we've been to don't put enough flavor only color), my dish was good, it needed a tad of salt for me, but the flavor was good. They were very fast, friendly and of course the place was clean. When I went in to get my food they had a special Cajun Seafood menu I wish I would've known about when I called! We're from Louisiana and I love seafood, so that will have to be a try for next time. read more

This was our first and only visit here, it started at the very bottom of the hill and hardly went up!! They had a kid around 12 or 13 years old maybe, working the register, this is just never a good idea. The first person you engage with is who sets the tone for the entire visit. His lack of concern and desire to give customer service was overwhelming. There were cartoons on the TV and he was more interested in watching TV, couldn't answer any of the questions we asked him. We had to ask three times for some in cups of ice for our drinks. Oversized ice cubes in styrofoam coffee cups wasn't exactly what we were hoping for. Also, they have no sugar free drinks in their cooler, so if you are diabetic or just don't like sugar filled drinks, you are stuck with water. We both ordered soup, 1 eggdrop and 1 hot and sour. The soup came out AFTER our meal. There is no reason that soup should be served last, we wanted before as do must people. My husband said the hot and sour was ok. The eggdrop was so unbelievably hot that I have blisters on the roof of my mouth!!! Now, I like good piping hot food, but this was dangerously hot, so glad a child didn't get it. I put two of the large ice clumps we got in it and it was still too hot to enjoy. My husband had the Hawaii 5-0, which contained some interesting mystery meat. He said it wasn't very good. I had Kung Pao Chicken (soup), wasn't suppose to be soup but it had so much liquid in it that is was more like soup with big chunks of vegetables. The flavor overall was bland. Customer service...there really wasn't any. This is a place that does as little as possible to take care of anyone that is unfortunate enough to walk through their door. Two stars lost... Issues I have is communication with this restaurant! Today once again you ask for one thing then they give you another! I hate to complain on here about something so petty but it's happened so many times I had to say something! I ordered broccoli instead of rice with no mushrooms....I get.... Mushrooms with two pieces of broccoli instead of rice???? Just plain dumb or don't care? I tried to tell the owner but she didn't care. That was the last straw! Two more stars lost.. Food quality is poor. I attached a pic of king pow chicken I received. I added the broccoli from my kids general tso's chicken so don't think that came in my container. Look at how runny it is! Everything always seem fresh, and portions are generous. They deliver to our place in Culleoka, an added plus!! Favorites include Sesame Chicken, Pepper Steak, Orange Chicken, egg rolls, fried dumplings, chicken sticks, Mongolian Beef, Kung Pao Chicken, Sesame Chicken and General Tso's Chicken. First time here, and I had the lunch special with three entrees. Must say the food was fresh which is a plus and the food got out quick even though it was full. It lacked in flavor quite a bit, nothing special, or that stood out above the rest but not bad for the price. The packers on the other hand were mediocre, they seemed to want us to hurry up and were unresponsive to their fellow cashier who took our order excellenty and was kind enough to answer any questions we had to the best of our knowledge. Ordered the Garlic Shrimp (lunch special) and Garlic chicken wings (4 piece) The Garlic shrimp was small for a lunch combo, only contained five shrimp. Mostly rice, vegetables, and sauce. The wings weren't anything spectacular. I thought 4 pieces meant whole wings, nope 4 pcs meant just that drumettes. HORRIBLE! This was seriously the WORST Chinese food we have ever had. My husband bought it and had it to-go so we could have it at home. The chicken chow mein looked like steamed chicken with onion, cabbage and a ton of overly cornstarched goo. No noodles, and my husband specifically asked them to make sure it had noodles. The broccoli beef looked like mystery meat with raw broccoli and a strange sauce that was not what you normally get. We took one bit of each and tossed the entire order out. My lo mein had chicken in it, I called and they replaced it and had it delivered to discover it had chicken in it again and taste of shrimp. I do not like seafood and could not eat it! Not really sure how they have stayed in business. This strip plaza is a death knell for restaurants other than the takeout Pizza Hut. It's been about a year, and they are as empty as ever. The style and menu seem to have changed completely from a pseudo buffet (with nice lunch specials) to food on demand with slightly higher than average takeout Chinese pricing. Got some Wanton soup for takeout, and the color looked OK (fairly light), but once the wanton opened the beef flavor was a bit overwhelming. Service was polite enough. read more

My wife and I stopped in here for the first time. You will see her review very close to mine. The "child" at the counter needs to be trained, and should stop watching stupid cartoons and making silly noises and do his job. Or, better yet, the parents should hire a real employee. The general theme of this place is: We spend no money on anything. All aspects of this restaurant reflect someone who is not willing to invest in any "quality". No sugar free drinks. Food was brought out with no silverware. We found some plastic ware loose in small plastic tubs that you had to reach into to grab - completely unsanitary. While we were there, they brought out the order of the only other customer in the place, and it was all messed up. The other folks were not too happy and let loose some very colorful vocabulary - most directed at the poor performance of the child at the desk where you order. Same complaint we had - was too busy watching cartoons to pay attention to us. This place is obviously family ran/staffed. May want to re-think that approach, is doesn't work putting your child at the desk while both parents are in the back preparing food. I want to stress that this is not the child's fault - very poor decision of, most likely, the father to save money (be cheap). Though it doesn't reflect in their prices - not a value place at all. The only drinks they had there were some canned sodas and iced tea that were in a glass-door refrigerator that also had many other items in it (maybe left over food? - various containers). They had no sugar-free drinks other than water. We asked for a couple of glasses of ice to pour our drinks in, and the child said okay. Then we waited, and waited, and waited while the kid watched more cartoons. I went back up to the desk and asked about our glasses, and he looked to the back saying they were getting it. So I stayed at the counter waiting a few more minutes, then a lady came out with two small Styrofoam coffee cups, each one with about 4-6 ice cubes in it (though they were very large cubes). I guess that is okay.... When they brought out our entrees, we commented that they never brought out our soup, then the lady quickly went to the back and brought out the two soups. One with a lid, one without. Not sure what that was all about. At most Chinese restaurants, they bring out the soup first, then the entrée, which is what we expected, and wanted. I had a dish called the "Hawaii 5-0". Was supposed to have Shrimp, Chicken, Beef, and vegetables. Had two shrimp, about 5 strips of beef (thin strips), and one piece of chicken (maybe two, could not be sure about one small piece). It also had something in it that looked very interesting, but I could not identify it. I did eat one piece, and it tasted like a sea creature, but not sure what (had a small diamond pattern on the outside, and looked like some kind of octopus or squid). After seeing that piece, I grabbed one of their menus to see what was in the Hawaii 5-0, but unless this was shrimp, chicken, or beef, it was some kind of a vegetable...still not sure. The meal came with rice (we ordered the fried rice), and an egg roll. Rice was not bad, and the egg roll was simple and bland (not much filling other than some ground meat). After the meal, I visited the men's room. Was fairly clean, but had two lights in the ceiling. One was red, the other was yellow. Very interesting - not sure what they were trying to accomplish with that - it was hard to see well, so maybe it wasn't so clean...??? Overall this was not a good experience at all and we will not be going back and our word-of-mouth advertising will be very negative. Don't waste your money on this place!!!! read more
