Recently got dinner there, and also noticed they have 2 Ramadan platters! Which is always amazing to see! They do also give you dates and a drink to break your fast. A friend recommended this restaurant, and it turned out to be a cozy spot in a shopping center off the freeway. The food was pretty good, and the service was excellent! Our server, Derek, was from Bangkok, Thailand, and we even got a chance to thank him in Thai. My friend and I have been to Bangkok before, so it was nice to have a small connection to his country and the food. The only thing I wished for that evening was outdoor seating. They don't open until 5 which we did not realize so arrived around 4:30. There is a small patio so we sat there and they brought us ice water! The menu is large but clear on ingredients. The food was good and the portions large. Our waitress did a good job keeping drinks filled and clearing the table. As a group of 6, they did add the gratuity (18%). The Ambiance was very - Veggie curry puff was packed with a lot of flavor & I loved the flakey crust. - Papaya salad with soft shell crab was very refreshing - Beef Pad Kee Mow had a nice sauce with it, level 3 spice was perfect for me. - Almond Siracha chicken tasted like an elevated Orange chicken. Been a bit since I last reviewed Noodle Wave. It is one of my kids favorites. The food is great, consistent (so rare) and creative. My last review I talked about the food, but this time I want to focus on the people. Every time I stop in be it lunch or dinner weekday or weekend everyone is so nice, welcoming and attentive. This was a busy Saturday night. I'm guessing from what I saw in staffing there had to be a server for every 3 or 4 tables. They worked well as a team providing a seamless dining experience. Be aware that even medium spicy might be a little too much for some so if your pallet is sensitive, you're better off ordering "mild". Dear Noodlewave Team, I've always been a loyal customer and have consistently praised your restaurant for its incredible food and top-notch service. That's why I'm so disappointed by what happened tonight. I placed an online order at 9:10 PM, well before your listed closing time of 9:30 PM. Nowhere on your website does it state that the kitchen closes at 9:00 PM, so I had every reason to believe my order would be fulfilled--especially since the system allowed the order to go through. To be safe, I called around 9:20 PM to confirm everything was okay. That's when I was told my order would not be made because the kitchen had already closed. This was not only unexpected, but frustrating--especially given the limited options available at that hour. I spoke with a team member who quickly became defensive when I pointed out the website had no mention of a 9:00 PM kitchen closure. I then asked to speak to a manager and was connected to a supervisor named Sophie, who repeated the same information. Rather than working to understand my perspective as a customer, she also became defensive and even called me "mean" simply because I was expressing my frustration about the situation. She did offer a refund, which I appreciate, but that doesn't undo the inconvenience of being left without dinner late at night--and frankly, without the level of respect and care I've come to expect from Noodlewave. I'm truly disappointed by how I was treated. I've always spoken highly of your restaurant, and this experience was not aligned with the values of great service I've come to associate with your brand. I hope you take this feedback seriously and consider revising your online order policies--or at the very least, clearly communicate kitchen closing times--so other loyal customers don't run into the same issue. read more

I been going to noodle wave for several years. The food has gotten better over the years and make sure you know the spice level because it can get pretty spicy. I have ordered to go from here before but today I decided to stay and eat in. Absolutely incredible!! The food fresh out of the kitchen is EVERYTHING! Their Thai tea is seriously the best Thai tea and I'm a huge fanatic of this drink so I try it everywhere I possibly can. The service is top tier and my only regret is that I left my sweater at home. My family and I were fasting and our server brought us dates, soup, and a passion fruit tea to break out fast with on the house. Our dishes came out piping hot 3 minutes prior to breaking our fast. I've eaten here a handful of times over the last several years. I remember the first time I ate here and was not overly impressed. But, after more visits, they seemed to have improved over time. They make very good soup to help you when you have a cold, I can say that from experience :D The most recent time we came for lunch, we were very pleased with the food and the service. I had the Orange Chicken and was very happy with it. The chicken was "naked" and did not have a batter coating it. The fried rice was great and my wife's noodle soup with chicken was wonderful. If I could put zero stars I 100% would, not only do they charge almost $2 extra (each) for simple ingredients like peanuts and green onion that should be in the meal already, but also this last time I got my Food to go as I was halfway through eating my chicken pad Thai when I noticed a huge almost 2 inch piece of glass in my food! Just absolutely unacceptable if I hadn't been paying attention I could've swallowed the shard of glass. We made the mistake and came here at 2:30pm. I said "mistake" because they literally told us that we had to go while we were still eating...! Literally still eating our food, drinking our drinks, the waitress who was trying to be nice, told us that they are pretty much closing and we need to pack up and go. The shrimp Blankets were honestly delicious. And papaya salad-it was good too. Soup was kinda bland. But nothing is as bad as someone telling us we need to go in the middle of our meal! One of the better locations of this ever growing Dallas halal chain, the draw lies in their constant menu and consistent experience offered to customers old and new as they experience what this Chef owned business has to offer. In terms of service, they have definitely been affected by the pandemic, but these smaller locations outside the more popular locations such as Richardson have wait staff which are certainly busy, but quick to serve. They did have some trouble with the seasonal menu but some sign language negotiation smoothing things over. Now I'll be upfront, I'm not particular about Noodle Waves food. It's more Thai inspired flavors and takeout cuisines most of the time than true Thai cooking. The biggest issue is that different locations serve you different dishes even when you order the same item down to the spice level. Of all of them, this location has served me the food that was most consistent, although their portions are on the weaker side. Across the suburbs, you'll have no trouble finding yourself one of these Noodle Wave locations for an amicable meal, and this location is no exception. If you're looking for a halal Asian meal and the family is waiting, it's not too hard of a choice. read more
