This spot is a great addition to the area, especially considering they just opened not too long ago. If they keep putting out food like this, they're going to have no problem building a loyal customer base. The Pad Thai was absolutely delicious with great flavor throughout, the pot stickers were cooked perfectly with a crispy exterior and flavorful filling, and the Khao Mun Gai was a standout. The chicken was incredibly tender, the rice was packed with flavor, and everything came together really well for a comforting, satisfying meal. The restaurant itself has a clean, welcoming atmosphere that's perfect for sitting down and enjoying your food instead of just grabbing something to go. The customer service was another highlight of the experience. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely appreciative of the support as a newer restaurant. Upon pickup, the restaurant very quiet on a Tuesday night. Prices very reasonable and portions generous. My issue. Pad Thai which is a signature dish was over seasoned with tamarind powder and violently salty. Perhaps the saltiest pad Thai I've had in my life. No kidding. Moreover, how can a Thai restaurant not carry Thai chili (aka Prik Nam). Flavor wise the pad Thai was ok. Yellow curry was ok and like any other average Thai restaurant. Just had what I felt was a delightful meal. My wife and I ordered the chicken pad Thai, chicken drunken noodles and cream cheese avocado rangoons. Both of the two stir fry dishes were full of flavor, spice and of great value. I liked the drunken noodles slightly better. We ordered them at the medium spice level. My wife thought the pad Thai was slightly on the spicy side but I felt it was just right. I prefer spicy and compromise for my wife. The rangoons were different. My husband brought home some food from JoyThai, it was SO good - went back a few days later for more. Visited 2/10/26 We dined in, service was great. Definitely a busy area, but our wait time was just right! We ordered quite a few things; Thai crispy rolls Chicken pad Thai Satay chicken (the peanut sauce was cherry on top) 3 flavored fish (so so good, main reason I wanted to come back & eat again. We recently moved to the area and I was craving pad Thai so I searched for the closest spot and I'm so glad I did! I ordered at the counter and it was greeted by a wonderfully friendly woman who took my order. I went with the vegetable pad Thai no spice this time didn't wanna get in over my head the first time and cream cheese wantons. The restaurant was clean and comfortably busy with a few tables full by the time I headed out the pads I had great flavor not too sweet and the portion size was bigger than expected. The wontons are a little more done than I prefer but still tasty. I definitely give them another try overall I'd recommend this spot and will be returned. read more

Very randomly found this place for some take outs. Turn out this place is surprisingly good. The better pad thai I had for years, not overly sweet, great flavor. The basil fried rice is also great, the old fashioned dark soy sauce style, the rice are all evenly coated with the dark soy sauce, tastes like childhood to me. This is my second time here, and I had to leave a review because I love this place! I have been to many, many Thai places, and the food here was authentic, flavorful, and delicious. The store was bright and clean, and the service was friendly :) I ordered the Green Curry and Tom Yum soup and my boyfriend got the Drunken Noodles. They were all delicious and came out piping hot. My tiny feedback is that the Tom Yum soup was a little bit on the sweeter side. We both got the Garlic Wings as an appetizer, and I loved how crispy and flavorful they were. I ordered the basil fried rice with shrimp, chicken and egg. The egg was absolutely no where to be found. I could t taste or see the egg and I paid extra for it. I called and they said they put 2 eggs in there. There's absolutely no way this dish had two eggs in it. The rice was bland and all I could taste was sweetness in it. I asked for medium spice and it was sweet with no spice or flavor. My child who doesn't do eat spicy food tried it and said it was sweet and said maybe I ordered sweet rice instead of spicy. The shrimp was as bland- you can tell they used some frozen shrimp in a bag for this. The chicken was very tough. The garlic wings were good and so was the orange chicken. But it he basil fried rice has been a disappointment for a second time. I was giving it a second chance but don't recommend it. When I called he just said they out eggs when there's no way they did and he would tell them. It almost seemed like he has heard this before and was dismissive. read more

Was greeted by a friendly face when I walked in. Small little restaurant but it still had a good aesthetic. I got the Basil chicken stir fry, regular size Tom Yum soup and Chicken pad Thai. I wasn't a big fan of the basil stir fry. Flavor is kind of there but I tasted something bitter for someone reason. The pad noodles were smaller and thinner than normal so it threw me off. Good flavors but the noodles could've been better or I could added more sauce to be perfect. The Tom yum was so good. Very good flavors and not too sour either. Just perfect. Whenever I try a new Thai joint I always go for the drunken noodles for a a baseline of comparison. Vegan tip - always gotta go no egg. Came in about noon on a Friday and no waiting. Food was out quickly as a result. Portion size was good with lots of tofu. Spice level was a little low, realized they never asked how spicy I wanted it. Asked for a little hot sauce and got chili flakes and siracha. Did the trick. Overall food quality was good and flavors (save the missing hot sauce) were great. We ordered 2 noodle dishes and a curry for our family of 3 for take out. Everything was delicious! The pad sew ew was perfect for my picky 5 year old who only likes teriyaki chicken. I love how it comes with veggies, especially since the broccoli can soak up the sweet and savory sauce. I ordered the pad Thai with mild spice, but it wasn't spicy at all (I did change the spice level last minute though). I didn't mind the missing spice, because it still was tasty. Our last dish was the yellow curry with chicken. The medium spice on it was definitely there, but an enjoyable heat while you can still taste the flavor of the curry. I appreciated the extra plastic around the container in case the sauce spilled. Joy Thai will definitely be our go-to take out place when we aren't in the mood to cook!! read more
