I truly loved the food but the hospitality on the other hand could be improved. The sever was not very helpful when it came to questions I had or recommendations especially me being out of state. If I could come back I would definitely order the exact same food again. Highly recommend the menu clarifies that there is a "small" broth option where the broth portions are. It was confusing when ordering and the server didn't explain that so I ended up ordering the wrong size which was unfortunate. Curry broth was slightly spicy and very cold but I took it home and ate it with a side of white rice and boy it was delicious. Hands down the best Vietnamese spot in Prosper. My kids love this place, and it's become a special go-to for our mommy dates. The menu is simple but has all the Vietnamese staples you want. The food is authentic and the prices are very reasonable. The Texas rib beef pho is essential -- rich, comforting, and done right. According to my little bánh mì connoisseurs, the pork bánh mì is pretty great too. Don't skip the Vietnamese coffee... but sip slowly because it's basically crack (in the best way). Stopped in after looking at houses in the area. The young lady that helped us was very friendly and knew the menu well. She made some good recommendations. Me personally, I'm not a fan of the type of wrapping that was used for the egg rolls, but still had good flavor. Meat inside was tender & tasty. The Banh mi tasted fresh, and bread that was used was soft & lightly crisp. The bread tasted like a white roll instead of a French baguette, but still good. The pate & veggies tasted fresh. Now, the main course: The Pho. For a small portion it was generous. The beef & noodle was very soft and flavorful. I liked the presentation of the pho bowl as it sat on a larger plate that carried your garnishes. The broth had a clean flavor, and tasty. I liked that it was well balanced and not heavy on the peanut flavor. For entrees we got the Beef Pho and Pork Bahn Mi. This is where the price comes in for us. We eat these items a lot at other restaurants and they are typically $10-13 vs prices on the menu. I was also surprised by the Bahn not having a side and $5 fries. The sandwich, while flavorful was majority vegetable/bread and less pork. The pho was similar with limited meet and heavy on broth and noodles. The service was also amazing. We got there at about 8 PM. The place was clean and much bigger inside than I was expecting. The staff was very friendly. We ordered the pork Banh Mi sandwich and the chicken fried rice! Probably one of the best chicken fried rice I've ever had. It had Thai basil. It was so delicious. The chicken was so tender. The flavor was amazing! The only complaint was that we wish the sandwich would've had a little bit more sauce, added to it whether it was the grilled pork sauce or whatever sauce came on it that was our only complaint. Finally a Vietnamese place near our house! We came here on Saturday for dinner and found out they had only been opened for 6 days. They're still settling in so service was a bit haphazard. We couldn't figure out if we needed to be seated with a waiter taking orders or if we ordered at the counter. We ended up ordering at the counter since we saw someone up there ordering. Turns out that person was ordering to go . So if you go and are dining in, just get seated and someone will come take your order. The restaurant is nicely decorated albeit a bit small. The menu isn't huge but what we did order was very tasty! I got the beef pho, they only have one kind (combination). They also have one chicken pho and that's the extent of the noodle soups. The beef pho broth was so tasty with a hint of sweetness which I loved. They gave me a TON of noodles. I would say the ratio of noodles, meat, and broth is a bit off. I would have preferred a little less noodles or more broth since the noodles soaked up a good amount of the broth almost immediately. The hubby ordered the grilled pork rice plate. He said it was delicious! We also ordered the egg rolls. They came wrapped in the crispy rice paper instead of the egg roll wrapper like with Chinese egg rolls. I love the rice paper wrapper more to be honest. Flavor was delicious as well. The prices are a bit high compared to your normal pho places but I think most pho places these days have increased their pricing as well. Plus it's in a predominantly new suburban area so I don't fault them for the prices even though most Asians would probably find the pricing high for pho. Best items: Combination Fried Rice because it had large shrimps and a balanced flavor, Grilled Pork that were thinly sliced and marinated to perfection, Lemongrass Chicken was juicy and tender, and the limited time Coconut Water from a young coconut was refreshing. The atmosphere was calm and fresh open lighting, the music was a nice touch, not too loud and not too quiet. Food: the broth was tasty although they serve it with very little protein, basil and sprouts, and it is more expensive than other pho places. It is not worth it to pay more to come here. The service: it was terrible, I understand when people are understaffed and busy, but I do not understand how they would serve people who got to the restaurant after me and didn't serve me. I am not ok to be forgotten, and when I complained they came up with the excuse they were busy, no you just completely forgot I was there and during the service you never asked if I want to drink something besides water.
