My husband and I went to this restaurant for our pho. I ordered for Banh mi and pho soup. My husband ordered for large chicken pho. Their pho is tasty and the meat is tender. Their banh mi is the best banh mi I had and they put a lot of grilled pork meat in my banh mi. This will be our go to place for pho from now on. I always get excited when I see a Vietnamese place near the Frisco/Prosper area, so I was drawn when driving by. The restaurant itself is clean and open spacing. Ordering was a breeze and the staff was pleasant even during the busy lunch hour. Crab Rangoons - average Fried egg rolls - delicious! Wish they served it with some lettuce like other viet places do, but honestly they were still solid. Pho - good size and love that they serve it in the hot bowl so it stays warm your entire meal. Decided to try this place since it was cold outside. Was in the mood for good pho. Walking in I was greeted from someone working by the register in back. Place was clean. I ordered the beef tenderloin and did not get any meat. It was all cartilage. The broth was good and the noodles were too. Just disappointed that they didn't serve any meat. Wow! Their Pho Bowl was so delicious. We ordered to-go and the broth and noodles were in one container and all the add ins in another. They provided everything down to packets of sriracha and hoisin sauce, sprouts, limes, basil, & chopped jalapeños. The broth was so delicious and we got the beef, which was exceptionally tender. This is a really nice and authentic Vietnamese food place. They offer a good variety of pho, and rice dishes. Prices for most entry plates ranged from ~$13 to ~$18, and food is fresh, healthy and very well portioned. You have to pay at the counter, but they take your order and bring the food at the tables. Very kind and nice people. The place is very clean and minimalist style. They have about 11 tables both full and half booth. It should be good for parties equal or less than 4, but you can probably adjust for bigger given the open space. read more

I love Pho and this place was so good! So glad we have a Pho restaurant north of 380 finally! You can order at the counter or be sat at one of the many tables in the restaurant. We went there for the Grand Opening and it hasn't worked out its kinks yet. We tried the Phở and Vermicelli Bowl. The Phở was really expensive for lots of noodles and barely any meat. The broth was so bland you can't make out any spices. The Bun Thit Nuong was also flavorless and lacking in quantity. The bbq pork fried rice came with fried rice and pork on the side. Service - the servers were nice and greeted me. They smiled. The guy on the phone didn't know what was what. Ambiance - it was a nice Viet spot. Clean and well decorated. For $64 minus the 20% soft opening, this place didn't leave a good first impression. I'd say give them a shot. We visited during the soft opening weekend. Service took a long time since they were short staff and still working out kinks which is totally fine and expected for their soft opening. Limited menu due to soft opening which again was expected. Pho Broth had good flavor (better than Texas pho house) but I'm not a fan of the pho noodles. I don't know if it was the noodles itself or the fact it was over cooked. Soft and mushy, was not a fan of the noodles. I would definitely come back and retry in a couple of months once they are little more settled to see if the issues with pho noodle gets fix. read more

This is more of a 3.5, but there's potential here so I'm giving them the 4 stars because I want them to survive. Yes, their service is terrible but I'm overlooking that because they're still new. Now, onto the good parts. Their broth is wonderful. One of the better ones I've had. Very clean, light, & balanced. It's on par with or even slightly better than Texas Pho House just for reference. Tendon needs to be cooked longer. We had the pork egg rolls which were a good size and flavorful. The fish sauce served with it definitely needs improvement. As for the pork and shrimp fresh spring rolls, they are very small compared to other restaurants. You do get 4 compared to 2 at other places so it nearly evens out. I don't necessarily mind this because I found that the proportions provided a much stronger flavor of the star ingredients as opposed to getting lost by being overstuffed with noodles. Overall, once they figure out operations and get enough staff, this place will be solid. read more

Came here during their soft opening and had a wonderful experience! The food was great and the staff was friendly. The spring rolls had the right balance of everything and the sauce was delicious. The lemongrass tofu was flavored wonderfully and I was originally disappointed they didn't have vegetarian soup noodles I'm glad it forced me to try something that could very well be one of my new favorites. This is the first time ever that I have eaten clean bean sprouts from a pho restaurant. That was appreciated that Phoke went out of their way of removing the dark stems from the sprouts. Overall, good flavor. Our soup stayed hot during the whole lunch because of the specialty, thick, stone bowls their pho is served in. Try the Shrimp Roll with its own special sauce. My fiancé and I went to Phoke Noodles during the first day of their soft opening. When we saw that there was a Vietnamese restaurant opening near us, I was very excited! I'm super glad we got to try their food today! And to be their first customers is such an honor! For our drinks, my fiancé ordered himself a Viet coffee and I had da chanh (lemonade) for myself. The Viet coffee was creamy, not too sweet and slightly bitter, however it was really strong (like a typical cafe sua da) which exactly how my fiancé likes his coffee! The lemonade reminded me of how my grandma used to make it for me -- freshly squeezed! It was very nostalgic. Maybe a tad bit too sweet, but I'm not much of a sweets person. The lemonade might be perfect for someone who has a sweeter tooth than I do :) I also like that they served our water in a pitcher with separate water glasses. As for our appetizer, we got the goi cuon (shrimp/pork spring rolls). They came cut in half for us with plenty of shrimp and pork inside. They also added mint inside the spring rolls which added a refreshingly, pleasant surprise! And the peanut dipping sauce was served warm. These were super enjoyable! The only thing I was confused about was why the cut off the closed end of the spring roll. I wish I'd remembered to ask. We both ordered the pho dac biet (combination pho) which was supposed to come with tendon & tripe, but the supply order didn't come in time for the restaurant's soft opening, so we made do without which was completely fine :) The pho came in these stone bowls, which I thought was so cool! These kept our broth HOT, and I absolutely love hot soup (the kind that slightly burns your tongue and the back of your throat as it travels to your stomach). The broth itself was clear and fatty (yum!), but just slightly lacking a little in that umami flavor. The noodles were thicker than what my fiancé and I were used to because they weren't the traditional pho noodles. What impressed me the most was when the owner told us that their noodles are actually freshly hand-made! This definitely explained the texture that the noodles had. I appreciate that gave us plenty of basil and the bean sprouts were really fresh! Curiosity got the best of me and I ended up asking our server how to pronounce the name of the restaurant: "pho-keh," pronounced kinda slowly hahah. Overall, the entire atmosphere was very comfortable, so bring all your friends and family! Next time, we'll be trying the rice and vermicelli dishes :) read more

Food- is good, there isn't much out in the area but this place has been the go to. Portions are good and pricing is fair. Service for dine in has been good. Never had any issues, pretty welcoming. This was my first time ordering "to go" I ordered two entrees and one appetizer. When I asked for chili and hoisin sauce, I got one packet of each. When I asked for more, I was told I would be charged. Now, I don't mind paying but when I'm giving you 15% gratuity when all you did was bag my food. I think that's generous enough, dine in tables have bottles of sauces there. Now, even if you give ONE packet, I had two orders. Would you rather lose customers over a sauce packet? Maybe it's a bit much but I didn't expect to be confined to one packet per order. read more

I ordered chicken pho, vermicelli pork bowl and fresh spring rolls for take out. I called a good 20+ minutes before heading to the restaurant but my food took another 10 minutes to be ready even though there were only a few customers eating inside. The cashier was friendly and attentive though so that was good. Now for the food. Broth was too salty. Chicken slices given was such a small amount for the price you pay. Brean sprouts, cilantro, basil were barely there. Other pho places give you about five times as much. The fresh spring rolls, although good enough and taste as they should, were too small for the price. They were placed in a big plastic take out container that made them even look smaller. The peanut sauce tasted ok but the look and texture were not restaurant quality. I can make that at home a lot better! For the vermicelli bowl, the pork slices were again, too little amount and a bit overcooked. The sauce provided in a separate plastic container wasn't even full. Definitely not enough for the whole meal. So bottomline, this place is very stingy with its portions for the price they charge. Not the best tasting food, but not the worst either. If you're not familiar with Vietnamese food you will find the food passable, maybe even good enough because your taste buds don't know any better. However, if you are familiar with excellent pho broth then this is not the place for you (not Que Hong either so don't bother going there!). This place is very new so hopefully they read customer' reviews so they can improve quickly. I will give this place another try in another three months or so if they are still in business by then and it would be interesting to see (and taste!) if they have improved by then. read more

Food: The food is going to be great as you can certainly expect the traditional pho experience. My family of 5 come here at least once a month, as my kids continually request this dine-in experience. Service: I have only had one bad experience with the staff. There were some transparency issues as per what I was told vs what I received, can't recall as it has been a while since the incident. Ambience: The ambience is definitely a come as you are environment. Hygiene should always be considered as there is tight seating but I have never experienced being too close to another guest. read more
