Great fast food Chinese restaurant. If you want Chinese food in a jiffy and don't need the authenticity, check out Rice Pot. The owner is sweet and they work quick!

We saw the location after an appointment nearby and were looking at advertised meals outside of the location and decided to order takeout. There was not a wait. We walked right in to the location. After looking at the menu we decided to order Hunan with chicken and fried rice and sesame chicken with steamed rice. The food was very good. The Hunan had a bit of a spice but not overbearing. The portions were very generous. We had leftovers and look forward to eating them again and visiting the location again.

Ok Yelp I admit it. One of those junk mail menus that gets dropped in your mailbox with shiny pictures got me. This is only the second time in my life, which let's face it is probably closer to the end than not. Anyway, second time falling for the menu in mailbox. First time did not work out too well, this time I'm pleased as a peach even though no peaches were involved in my meal. Most of the food was respectably executed and everything was flavorful. The human chicken had a nice kick to it and those baby corns that sold me on that dish were done right. Orange chicken while not panda level (no gets to panda level) was good and sesame chicken turned out nicely too. Accompanied with fried rice things hit the spot. Our appetizer was the generous portion of dumplings servers ironically with less than generous portion of the sauce but let's give them a break. So any bad? Yep. Online order system is spotty at best. I did not get a confirmation email or text despite giving both pieces of info. Other than that a reasonably priced and delicious meal was had. In the words of a former California governor and a recently departed Israeli prime minister, "I'll be Bach!"

    Black Pepper Beef

Ordered the black pepper beef on postmates. The order arrived quickly but it was literally 90% mushrooms after I asked for light onions. I get that you have to cut costs but I definitely felt like I didn't get what I paid for. Buyer beware.

The worst Chinese food I have ever gotten. Never again. Chicken had a funny smell. The rice was flaky.

We had the famous soup dumplings, scallion pancake and tried their fried fish which we enjoyed too! The soup dumplings ended up having a sweet taste in the soup. The hot and sour soup was not sour at all, and I ended up, doctoring it a bit by asking for some vinegar. I would highly recommend against people ordering this if they're expecting the authentic Asian flavor profile. The beef noodle soup ordered medium spicy was not spicy at all and so next time if I ever go back, I'll have to get their extra spicy. And their tofu noodle soup did not have nearly as much tofu as the picture seemed to make us believe. The one thing I did really like was the wontons in the wonton soup so if I come back, I'll probably just be ordering that. Overall, I think I was expecting a classic Taiwanese flavor profile and was left wanting more.

The ambiance is okay and unfortunately the restrooms were poorly maintained and smelled bad. Overall the food was just average. The fried pork was not seasoned well, and didn't taste great despite being fried and obviously unhealthy. The black bean noodles were okay and very unidimensional. The noodles did have a good texture and chew. The spicy seafood noodles was also lacking depth of flavor, and it was very underwhelming. My diagnosis: average food with good service.

I love Korean-Chinese food, so when I saw Dong Bo Sung in Frisco, I had to give it a try. They…read moreserve the classics -- jja jang myun (black bean noodles) and jjampong (spicy seafood noodle soup) -- plus other familiar dishes like sweet and sour fried pork. Service: Above average. The servers were kind and hustling nonstop. That said, it looked like they were a bit understaffed for a Saturday lunch rush -- only two employees were handling seating, orders, drinks, and checkout for the whole restaurant. Still, they did their best, and it showed. I tipped generously - well deserved. Ambiance: Clean, nicely decorated, and a fair size space. My party of five was seated quickly with no issues. Food: Unfortunately, this is where things fell flat. The jja jang myun noodles texture and chew were great, but the sauce was underwhelming and lacked depth. The jjampong portion was huge (great value!), but it too was on the bland side -- missing that rich, spicy seafood flavor I was hoping for. The sweet and sour fried pork was just okay, nothing memorable. Overall, Dong Bo Sung is fine if you're nearby and craving this type of cuisine -- you'll definitely leave full -- but for me, it didn't quite hit the mark. I'm a bit spoiled by Paik's Noodle, so this one lands at a solid 3 out of 5.
