Dim sum menu jan 2026

We were deciding between this place and some other options. Ended up coming here and I'm glad we did! Everything was so good, from the dumplings, to the sizzling beef, to the spicy chili chicken, we really enjoyed ourselves here. Friendly and very quick service. Nice ambiance. Reasonable prices. The tables weren't the most comfortable to sit at, but that's really the only negative I can think of. Go try this place.

You know this place is good when you're the only one that isn't Chinese in the restaurant lol. Every time I've been here has been delicious. I usually will stay with the Americanized dishes, but the Hunan dishes look amazing. Every time I go here, all the tables are full and everyone is happy. I have never had a bad service experience here and always had good food. Highly recommend this restaurant if you want authentic Chinese

Hunan Hot & Sour Chicken Gizzards

We came for lunch on a Friday around noon and were surprised to find the place relatively quiet. The restaurant is spacious, clean, and has plenty of seating. The menu is an experience in itself: a thick, photo-packed book featuring over 20 pages dishes. It's almost overwhelming but also super helpful for first timers. We ended up ordering four dishes - Stir-fried Pork (family style, Hengyang Braised Vermicelli, Braised Chicken Feet with Pig Feet, Hunan Hot & Sour Chicken Gizzards. All of the food was very spicy but delicious. Service was excellent -- our server was attentive without hovering, drinks were refilled promptly, and food arrived surprisingly fast.

We were in the neighborhood in the late afternoon on a Friday (about 2:30pm). The restaurant was empty so we enjoyed a wonderfully quiet atmosphere and we were able to chit chat and catch up with each other easily. We were enthusiastically greated as we walked in with friendly smiles. The menu has lots to offer but being as late as it was, we opted for a shared app and an entree each. I can't wait to return to order the other menu selections I had my eye on - next time we'll do it family style and mix & match tons of stuff! The three dishes we ordered were amazing. So flavorful - perfectly balanced - delicious - yummy. Did I mention it all tasted good? We had the Cucumber Salad, Mongolian Beef Sizzling, and Dry Pot Bamboo Shoots (which the server noted has pork in it). Oh man, I can smell the aromas again just writing this....we will definitely be coming back.

Incredibly delicious Chinese food. I went with friends, and was amazed by the food. There is a lot of authentic Chinese food, with some that has a really strong taste, so take care to ask advice from your waiter. For example the stinky tofu dish, while delicious, is not for everyone, the ambience was inviting, with distinct cultural design. The price was reasonable based on the amount of food given. Recommend checking it out!

Stir Fried Pigs Ears

Hands down my favorite and only authentic Chinese restaurant in town. Every time we go here, we end up discovering a new dish we've never had before and it just completely blows our mind! This time it was the "fir fried pigs ears" which was just fantastic and just perfect in every way possible. We also ordered our usuals which is the typhoon pork ribs, black pepper beef and garlic achoy. They also serve a very cold Tsingtao with a frosted small glass which makes it an amazing meal all around. Keep up the great work!

Absolutely loved our first visit. Family style dishes. Plenty to go around. All traditional and being an ABC (American born Chinese) with both parents from Taiwan, this was truly a delightful find. Will be coming back for sure. Service was a little slow in the beginning, but as soon as we ordered, the food came out fast and hot. Loved the hand painted drawings on the wall. Reminded me of what I'd see walking in Taipei.

I really enjoyed this Chinese restaurant! The flavors are authentic and the service is very quick. Every dish we tried was packed with flavor and so delicious. My favorite dish that we got was the pork belly bao and the walnut shrimp.

We ordered egg rolls, orange chicken, steamed rice, sautéed string beans, and an order of soup dumplings. The egg rolls were ok; crispy, but not overly flavorful. They were served with what I believe to be a sweet and sour sauce (?) that was quite sweet, so it didn't complement the egg rolls that well. The orange chicken dish had a decent flavor profile, combining a sweet and tangy orange sauce with crispy battered chicken. It tasted like average orange chicken. The sautéed string beans were probably our favorite dish with the right amount of flavor and a hint of spice. The soup dumplings were also a nice dish as well and were easily finished. Overall the restaurant offers plenty of different options of dishes that I'm sure would please a variety of people.

Love the food here! It's fresh, authentic, and unique with a wide variety. Service was very attentive. And food portions were large and definitely family style. Food definitely is spicy, so make sure you're going in with eyes wide open. + Eggplant with peppers and thousand year old eggs was our favorite + Intestines in dry pot were super spicy but nice and soft chew + Clams were good + Veggies were fresh and excellent

This place is delicious. I didn't know what to expect coming in, but it was definitely worth the stop. First off, it's around the corner from Ranch 99, so not in the greatest location but still easy to find. This place has a HUGE menu, everything from noodles/dumplings to more traditional Hunan food. Every thing we ordered came out with a sizeable portion and ended up being delicious. What we got: - Twice cooked pork with bean curd: Not overly spicy, full of flavor and delicious - Garlic fish (?): Can't remember what this dish was called but it came in a huge claypot with tons of fish. Only thing here is it could have been a little bit more flavorful, but it was definitely a "clean" feeling dish - Pork belly over mustard greens: The photo in the menu makes it look like they load the buns, but you really get 6 buns. That's beside the point though, as the pork belly we received had the right amount of fat to meat ratio and was packed full of flavor. The waitstaff is super nice and attentive and the food was delicious. Definitely come here if you're in the area looking for some authentic Hunan food.

I've been here twice now and I think this is going to be my favorite Chinese spot in the DFW area. I hate to say it (believe me, I really do) but it's true that it's sometimes hard finding a Chinese restaurant that's both delicious and has amazing service. I don't personally think that other Chinese restaurants have rude service, per se, but they lack that customer service that we all want as diners when we eat out and drop some serious money. And I only mention the money part because both times that I've come, we had a party of 8, making the bill well above $300. My family has a bunch of piggies and we can eat. Everything that we've ordered came out really quick and was incredibly fresh tasting. Both times we've been here, it was on a Saturday at 5:30 and so there were plenty of seats, which quickly filled up by 6ish. The service, as I have alluded, was really good, both times we've been. They anticipated what we needed before we mentioned anything and anything that we asked for, they promptly assisted us. I really hope the quality stays like this. Please don't change! Stand out dishes, because there are just too many: stinky tofu, pork belly, the pork shank, and the whole fried fish with chilies. Ugh, it's making my mouth water just thinking about it.

Try the cucumber salad!!! I am in Frisco on business frequently and picked up take out based on yelp reviews. This place is really very good and I live in Houston which is a restaurant Mecca. I will be back.

The soup dumplings ended up having a sweet taste in the soup. The hot and sour soup was not sour at all, and I ended up, doctoring it a bit by asking for some vinegar. I would highly recommend against people ordering this if they're expecting the authentic Asian flavor profile. The beef noodle soup ordered medium spicy was not spicy at all and so next time if I ever go back, I'll have to get their extra spicy. And their tofu noodle soup did not have nearly as much tofu as the picture seemed to make us believe. The one thing I did really like was the wontons in the wonton soup so if I come back, I'll probably just be ordering that. Overall, I think I was expecting a classic Taiwanese flavor profile and was left wanting more.

The ambiance is okay and unfortunately the restrooms were poorly maintained and smelled bad. Overall the food was just average. The fried pork was not seasoned well, and didn't taste great despite being fried and obviously unhealthy. The black bean noodles were okay and very unidimensional. The noodles did have a good texture and chew. The spicy seafood noodles was also lacking depth of flavor, and it was very underwhelming. My diagnosis: average food with good service.

They…read moreserve the classics -- jja jang myun (black bean noodles) and jjampong (spicy seafood noodle soup) -- plus other familiar dishes like sweet and sour fried pork. Service: Above average. The servers were kind and hustling nonstop. That said, it looked like they were a bit understaffed for a Saturday lunch rush -- only two employees were handling seating, orders, drinks, and checkout for the whole restaurant. Still, they did their best, and it showed. I tipped generously - well deserved. Ambiance: Clean, nicely decorated, and a fair size space. My party of five was seated quickly with no issues. Food: Unfortunately, this is where things fell flat. The jja jang myun noodles texture and chew were great, but the sauce was underwhelming and lacked depth. The jjampong portion was huge (great value!), but it too was on the bland side -- missing that rich, spicy seafood flavor I was hoping for. The sweet and sour fried pork was just okay, nothing memorable. Overall, Dong Bo Sung is fine if you're nearby and craving this type of cuisine -- you'll definitely leave full -- but for me, it didn't quite hit the mark. I'm a bit spoiled by Paik's Noodle, so this one lands at a solid 3 out of 5.
