The menu may look the same, but the quality and preparation of items have changed. For example, the crab cake Benedict used to feature homemade crab cakes, and now it's a fried frozen-style patty. The one-star review is really based on the service experience, and unfortunately it's the reason we won't be returning. While waiting for our table, the manager or possible owner was telling single-party guests there was a 30-minute wait, while parties of three or more were being quoted only 10 minutes. An older woman standing there heard him tell the group in front of her 10 minutes right before he told her 30. The more I thought about it afterward, the more disappointed I was that I didn't speak up in the moment. Treating guests differently based solely on party size is unacceptable and left a very bad impression.

The bacon was cooked perfectly, and my spouse LOVED the smashbrowns! Will came to our table to check in with us a few times, and was always polite and friendly. The restaurant itself looked & felt clean, the bathroom was perfectly clean, we loved all the windows letting in the sunshine. There's also patio seating available, that we'll come back to enjoy on a cooler fall morning. The restaurant is an order up front, take a number, and seat yourself concept, which works for this restaurant model. Overall, we enjoyed our food very much, the atmosphere felt cozy, modern, but somehow still nostalgic, and the biscuits were really wonderful. Very clean and open and cute/simple inside. Our waitress was extremely friendly and helpful- however we did go LONG periods of time without being checked on. Lunch took about an hour and a half so it's definitely not a "quick" option. I'd definitely order from here and go pick it up since it's right across from my office. None of us had bad food and it was all cooked exactly the way we asked except for the crispy hash browns I asked for, I guess there's an art to that.
