Went out to the Frisco Rail Yard with a group of friends last weekend. There were three or four different food trucks out there, but tacos looked by far the best of the options we had. Who doesn't love tacos on a nice Saturday afternoon? Anyway, I heard the woman a few orders before mine ask if we had to do the tacos x2 (on the menu, they're listed as you getting two of the same tacos). He said you could mix it up if you wanted to try different tacos. When it was my time to order, I asked if I could do that as well, and he said I could. I ordered the sloppy taco and the fried avocado taco. Both sounded delicious, and I was going to share them with my girlfriend. She wanted to try those as well (I ordered before she texted me back... But luckily I ordered what she wanted). If you order two tacos that are different, they'll charge you the higher price of the two. That's totally OK with me, but just a heads up. They give you one of those alert squares that lets you know when your order is ready, that way you can go back to your table or whatever. I just hung out there and waited with the rest of the folks who had ordered. My buzzer went off, and I went to get my tacos. Instead of getting a sloppy taco and a fried avocado taco, I got two fried avocado tacos. They were busy, and I was content with getting two fried avocado tacos because they still looked delicious. The tacos were great. Nice crisp to the avocado. Flavor was spot on. Definitely worth checking out if you get the chance. Just thinking about them right now is making me hungry. I enjoyed the tacos, the staff was nice, and the truck is just a cool concept. I'd definitely try some of the other tacos in the future. read more

So I had the Loaded Fries with Mexican sloppy beef, slaw, corn and bean dip, pick de gallo, and cheese. Yumm! Definitely worth it! We came here on a Saturday evening when the truck was at the Frisco Rail Yard. It had the longest line of them all but was worth the wait. The staff was very accommodating with my custom order (had spicy stuff removed since these were for our kiddos). I played it safe this time with the steak tacos. They were a good size and included lots of cheese, which was good. The chimichurri sauce was great too, but spicy. Next time, I will try the fried avocado taco. read more

Got to grab some food here while at the Frisco Rail Yard. The avocado tacos were delicious! So many beautiful flavors combined. Great as a taco or digging in with a fork (you know, for when your toddler steals your tortilla). Those twin fries though - omg let's talk about loaded with flavor! Booked this food truck on August 15th, 2019 to visit our corporate office during lunch time on October 3rd. The day of they said they had a family emergency and asked to reschedule for the following Tuesday, October 8, 2019. We said that we completely understood and we looked forward to seeing them on the new date. We had a graphic designer design custom Twin Taco e-mailers to promote them and their menu within the corporate office to help boost their sales and the entire office has been very excited to have them out. Two hours before they were supposed to arrive to set up, I received the following email from them: "Hey Brooke, Unfortunately we are not going to be able to make it to your office today. Someone just contacted me with a last minute cancellation and they said they'd pay 2 grand just to get us out there and it's a lot closer to us. I'm sorry to disappoint we just can't say no to an offer like this. Hope you understand this doesn't happen often if ever. Thanks, Tyler Hanes The Twin Taco" We booked them two months ago and this is the date they chose to reschedule for. We have almost 300 corporate employees and most did not bring their lunch because they were planning to have the Twin Taco for lunch. We understand that $2K is $2K, but you don't cancel two hours before set up because a better offer came along. A commitment is a commitment and the whole ordeal is quite absurd. This truck was supposed to come out to our company for lunch on 2 different days, but both days they cancelled. Honor your commitments to businesses. When you tell a business/company that you will be there, BE THERE. Not wait until the DAY OF and tell the business you got a better offer so you won't be coming. So many of us did not bring a lunch for the TWO different days you said you would be there, so we were left to find something last second. So unprofessional. read more

I would give this company zero stars. I hosted an event centered around this truck and they didn't show up!!! They didn't call or email me leaving me stuck. They said their generator broke. They have no back up plan and didn't give me a notice. If you want a successful event DO NOT book this truck!!!! read more

Wow! Took a tour of the Rail Yard food trucks and decided on The Twin Taco. Great decision!! My wife and I ordered the sloppy tacos and the loaded fries. Both were incredible. I only wish I had a picture to show great they look and taste. Unfortunately, that opportunity has passed. But, they were FANTASTIC! read more

Checked them out at Hub Streat in Plano. Got the steak tacos and loaded fries and both were amazing! So many toppings and flavors, and the loaded fries could be a meal themselves. I want to back and try the other tacos, but definitely need the fries again. read more

What a find! I booked The Twin Taco for a company lunch event and they were fantastic. Mallori helped coordinate via email and she was so responsive, helpful, professional, and friendly. The truck showed up in plenty of time to set up and and be ready to serve, and so accommodating throughout. The guys were all so friendly and fun to work with, and made great recommendations for my colleagues.
