The spicy chicken exceeded our expectations -- after traveling across many U.S. states and trying countless fried chicken spots, Sal's ranks among our top favorites. Prices are slightly higher than major chains like Popeyes or KFC, and the restaurant isn't very busy yet, but the quality and flavor make it a standout choice. If you're spice-sensitive (thats me), you can order your sandwich with no heat, and it's actually really good. Crispy and flavorful. I added extra pickles and immediately knew I made the right decision. Honestly, I'd go back just for that combo alone. I tried the Oreo milkshake. Not terrible, just not the star of the show. Overall, Fiery Chicken surprised me and I'll definitely be back...

Every table was dirty, and the table felt sticky. The bathrooms were disgusting, which we unfortunately had to navigate with a 2 year old - which makes the overall experience lose marks for not being family. The chicken was fine. I got the medium, which was so hot I could barely eat my meal. Coming from someone that loves spicy food...I was surprised. I normally order on the spicy side, but always medium when trying a new restaurant to gauge the spice level. The sandwich needs more coleslaw/sauce to balance the heat. Also, I wasn't aware that the meal didn't come with any sauce, and ended up having to buy some at the register after the fact. The chicken itself was well cooked, I just didn't feel like the experience was worth it for me or my family. Alsoc why does a restaurant with a soda fountain have Coke Zero but not Diet Coke?? The spicy chicken was the standout with an intense kick from the Sichuan peppercorns that honestly made my nose run in the best way. It is bold, numbing, and packed with flavor.
