I'm going to be honest with you. I should have read the reviews for a restaurant with 3.9 stars. I just started a new position with a new company down the street from here and I wanted something quick but good. Well, let's just say it wasn't. Really Good nor bad, just not great. I want to say Dave's hot chicken has better flavor. Lesson learned.

Fiery Chicken is a straightforward 4 Star Nashville Chicken Fix! Go! Now,that being said,my experience was based primarily on the food. This is only my 3 rd Nashville hot experience. But,I've grown to learn through other Yelpers post and my own,the sandwich should be a substantial, crunchy breast at your heat level topped with slaw, pickle and sauce. All nestled in a warm soft toasted bun. On that account they hit a home run. The accompanying seasoned fries were also delicious without being too spicy/ salty. Now for the not so great. The space is neither attractive or comfortable. The chairs are the worst. Those commodity metal numbers that have you wanting to get up and leave half way through your meal. The place is rough around the edges and parking is challenging because of the preponderance of adjacent restaurants. However, all sins are forgiven if I can secure another NHCS( Nashville hot chicken sandwich) like the one today. To go of course.

I ordered their signature chicken sandwich with fries for delivery. The food was ready for pickup within 5 mins of ordering. The fries were crispy and I loved the dipping sauce. The chicken sandwich was very hearty - there's a very thicc and large crispy chicken filet sandwiched between buns and topped with coleslaw and pickles. It's a great combination. I got the mild heat level and it was already pretty hot. I can't even imagine what the max would be like. There was so much food that I could only finish half the meal. The delivery order came with napkins and unwrapped utensils. I'd have preferred plastic sealed utensils simply due to being more clean-conscious as a result of the pandemic.

Bygo free deal...the spiciest level wasn't spicy at all.

Soooooooo....I'm gonna be real. I had HIGH hopes. It's called fiery chicken.... I got the spiciest level...and it wasn't remotely spicy Like...not even a little. Not even a tiny bit. Sad.

Delicious, FIERY HOT!!!! Chicken! I got the wild fire flavour, 5 piece wings $11.99. It comes with toast, fries and sauce! Super flavourful and best of all, SPICY! Great customer service, great flavours, and value. Will be back!

Just like all the other hot chicken places out here in DFW. Nothing that sets it apart from the others other. It is halal for those that look for that. Service was quick and friendly enough. I got the log fire with a side of mac n cheese, which I added to the top. The sandwich comes with a hefty piece of chicken and is very filling. Not a go to, but if I'm in the area I would stop by again.

Ordered this off of doordash and the meal was okay. I got the mild spice and the chicken was pretty good. I will say I wasn't a fan of the ratio of chicken to Mac and cheese. There also wasn't a lot of pasta. It pretty much just felt like I was eating chicken dipped in queso cheese. Not sure if I'll order from here again but it was a good try for a one time dinner.

My fave thing about this place were the fries, so that says a lot when it's supposed to be a chicken place. I was excited about my hot chicken sandwich when I saw how huge the piece of chicken was and it had the right thick cut pickles. Chicken itself was somewhat dry and didn't have much flavor to it. I struggled biting into my sandwich. The breading used on the chicken was too crispy that it end up being hard and was too thick that it didn't stay on the chicken, so it easily fell apart with each bite. The sauce and coleslaw weren't bad. The vibe there was a little off. There were a few fruit flies flying around. I didn't mind it so much, but my daughter was freaking out every time it flew around her and her food. She wanted to go eat in the car instead. The workers were also really loud chit chatting amongst each other.

This place is brand spanking new to the area so I had to check it out. Pros: 1. They serve huge big fat wings. Not the tiny skinny pathetic ones. 2. The chicken is HOT. Like burn your mouth of spicy! The hottest I ordered was some wings in Grease fire and my mouth was about to fall off. 3. The sauce that they include is good. Think canes chicken dipping sauce. With a tiny bit better. 4. They add giant delicious pickle slices to your order. And I LOVE pickles. 5. The staff is so nice and patient and explained their menu to us when we told them we've never been there before. 6. The interior is bright, clean, and inviting. 7. The spice that they use to burn your tongue off isn't overly vinegary. And I loved it. Cons: 1. The soda machine wasn't working properly. It was dispensing sodas that were far too watered down. We sat in the table close to it and heard multiple customers complaining about it. Which sucks because they offer various Maine Root sodas which are sweetened with cane sugar. So if you want a sugary drink- you had to BUY a separate drink even tho your order was suppose to come with a fountain drink. They did offer Pepsi products there by the bottle for purchase. I'm not a soda drinker so this wasn't a problem for me. But it was irritating to have to buy soda when it should have already been included with your order. 2. I have a sweet tooth and they didn't offer 2 things on their menu, the taro shake and the S'Mores.

I get this for take out at work quite frequently. I love their chicken for the taste and quality. It's halal for those that need their meat prepared that way but even aside from that I believe they have cage free chickens and no antibiotics/hormones and all that. The spice is on another level. If you can tolerate hot Cheetos or sriratcha then I would stick with "just a burn" or maybe even "electric" level. I love the portion size of the rice platter with the Cole slaw and sauce. It's so good. If you need to scarf the food down quickly (for work reasons) I would go a level spice below what you think. Overall I love this place, I'm always excited when we get it for work. I can't speak on the ambiance or service because we never actually dine in or go there someone just picks it up.

Surprisingly good place. Their icecream sandwiches were pricey but good, its the almond flour thats jacking up the price.

Very small portions of food for the money you are paying. It is almost like they are scared to put fries in your order.

I enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant with the large mural of a Hawaiian beach and simple island decor peppered throughout. The restaurant is also very clean. I also was fairly happy with the portion sizes for the chicken dishes. The vegetables in the Hawaiian plates were cooked very well and were really good complements with the lunch meals. What didn't work for me: The decoration alone is where this stopped feeling like a Hawaiian restaurant. The Hawaiian plates felt more Asian inspired rather than true Hawaiian inspired. The flavor is excellent, don't get me wrong, but I felt it was a bit of an identity crisis. The Beef BBQ short rib pieces were fatty and overcooked. I had only a few tender bites of beef but the rest was so chewy and fatty that I had to spit it out. Also only had 6-7 pieces of short rib for a $20 plate which I didn't really feel was worth it. The chicken katsu was crispy however I didn't care for the quality of the chicken meat. It was very stringy and tough to bite through in some areas. I was very much looking forward to the macaroni salad but it was just fine. I had high hopes for this one but it just wasn't creamy enough to blow me away. If you have ever visited a Hawaiian island and ever felt like you needed a fix of that memorable vacation, this place won't bring you back to those island memories but you will still be treated very well from a very kind staff. Their attitude is very aloha however I hope one day I can take a bite of their meal and be transported back to island vibes. I would recommend this place if you want solid Asian flavors, but not Hawaiian island specific flavors.
