    taro sago with mochi

There were so many options to choose from, from your regular Western flavors to your unique Asian inspired ones and even special seasonal flavors. The staff were really helpful in letting us try samples until I found the flavor I wanted. All the ones I tasted were great and there's definitely something for everyone, but the one I settled on was the taro sago which was definitely my favorite and so delicious.

Great flavors and free samples!!! I had the orginal and ube bubble waffles this time around. There are toppings you can add but I opted for plain. They were good but next time around I will add toppings and some ice cream. They do get busy so patience is key.

Asian inspired ice cream with a vast list of flavors. I visited on a weekend night, and the line was basically out the door. There was only one employee-- she had to give samples, scoop ice cream, and ring up customers, so we were understanding with the wait and dirty tables. My group of 3 shared an ice cream flight, which consists of four flavors and two toppings for $14. We got the jasmine green tea, ube coconut crunch, coconut pandan tres leches, and lavender earl gray. The jasmine green tea was my favorite, as the florals really stood out. I couldn't taste the ube. There were SO many other flavors that we wanted to try like the Thai tea, rose pistachio, mango sticky rice, miso soy sauce caramel, yuzu creamsicle, etc. For $14, the scoops are decently sized and our toppings (mochi and waffle bits) were sprinkled generously. I like that the container was separated into four different sections so the ice cream flavors did not mix. We will definitely come back to try more flavors.

Unassuming ice cream shop with Asian-inspired flavors that scoops out *generous* portions---that's how I would describe this place! Stopped by after dinner since I was in Dallas for work, and this ice cream shop was not too far from the hotel I was staying at. For my scoop, I ended up getting the Biscoff flavor. I asked for a small scoop, but the girl working that night scooped out what seemed to be two scoops! The texture was super rich and creamy, and full of Biscoff cookie butter flavor! Even though it was more than I expected, I couldn't really complain about the quality!

Am delighted to find an Asian owned ice cream shop! They have sooooo many amazing flavours!!! You'll find your usual American flavours like cookies and cream, vanilla, chocolate. And then you'll have Asian flavours like pandan, ube, sesame etc. the ice creams are pretty rich and cream, price is a little pricy but well worth it as they are unique. Service was good. I'd come back

This ice cream shop was BUSY on a Friday night around 7:45 PM. I can see why because the ice cream was delicious! This ice cream shop as all your traditional ice cream flavors, and some Asian ones, too! I ordered the "Jasmine Green tea" flavor and my husband ordered the "Corn" ice cream. Both were so delicious! I was skeptical about the corn flavored one, but it was actually so buttery and creamy! I would Deff come here again! Ambiance: Casual/order at the counter.

Okay this is now my go-to ice cream place I don't need to try any other spots... But seriously this place is amazing. I tried a bunch of samples and they were all so good it made it really tough to decide on flavor so I got 2 kinds! Still I wanna go back and try more! The ice cream is fresh, creamy and I love their flavor options that are unique! You'll find a good mix of classic flavors and some Asian inspired ones. I got coconut pandan tres leches which I highly recommend as well as the matcha Oreo. As a matcha ice cream enthusiast this is definitely up there in terms of ones I've had. Sweet but not overly sweet and the matcha flavor is just right. A lot of their ice cream has some stuff inside which is nice too, especially some of their fruity ones. They also sell pints! Service was good and it's a nice store. Overall I'm happy to have found this spot!

Came here last night with my gfs family for some desert and this place was great. The place was empty at 9:30 pm but their open until 10 and the girl working was very kind and let me try whatever flavors i wanted. I really like the unique asian flavor selection they had. I ended up getting the black sesame, but their ube i tried was very good as well. The girl loaded the cup up with multiple scoops, even though a small is supposed to be one technically lol. The ice cream is very thick which i love. Definitely gonna come back and try other flavors

One of our favorite spots for ice cream! My wife and I will happily drive 25 minutes just to come here and it's always worth it. What I love most are the Asian themed flavors. They're super creative and actually taste like what you'd expect in the best way possible. I tried the sweet corn, yuzu, and coconut lemongrass on our last visit. All were unique and spot on, but the coconut lemongrass really stood out for me--refreshing, smooth, and just the right amount of flavor. The staff is always friendly and patient, and they're happy to let you sample a few flavors before you decide. It's a small touch, but it makes the experience even better.

Went back to churn and bake ice cream in Plano. It's probably been like 2 years since I've been here. They have changed up a lot of their flavors so there was a lot of interesting flavors I sampled. I ended up getting the mango sticky rice and my friend got the Pandan coconut. The mango sticky rice was a bit too sweet for me. The Pandan coconut was very smooth and had a perfect balance of flavor and sweetness though. They sell many pints of their ice cream as well

Churn & Bake knocked it out of the park. I ordered the Vietnamese Coffee Rocky Road and it was so good I almost forgot to take a photo. Rich coffee flavor, creamy texture, and the mix-ins hit just right. Bonus: the bubble waffle machine is working

Churn and Bake is the perfect spot for a creamy, sweet treat. I am always greeted by smiling faces and they are generous enough to let you try samples to make the perfect choice. It's bright, inviting and airy inside.

Everything looked good to me and I was trying to make a decision. I counted 7 employees and not one greeted me or offered help. There were a couple other people in the store but there was no line. I asked a young woman for help and she was polite but not at all welcoming. I ordered one pint of Coconut and one pint of Cookie Dough. She was having a difficult time scooping the ice cream into the pint containers, so a gentleman working behind the counter as well, took over. As I watched him pack the containers I thought they looked kind of shallow. At other ice cream stores I frequent, they pack the ice cream solid and heavy. I felt like they just didn't really care, actually. I was friendly and smiling as I'm one of "those people" who wants everyone to like them! I paid for the order and tipped 15% on the register. That was the smallest percent offered unless you said "no tip" or custom. I I typically tip much more but felt like I shouldn't since they were so unfriendly. When I returned home and got the containers out to taste the ice cream, I could definitely see they weren't 16 ounces. I got my scale out to check and indeed, they came up way short. I mean...for the price? $7.99 ...$8 a pint? At least fill it up to get what you are paying for, am I wrong? I won't go back and I'm sure they couldn't care less, but for others who don't frequent centers like this one was in, you may want to know ahead of time what to expect. Taste wise? It was very creamy and good.

I was feeling rather sad for myself after a lousy morning and knew I needed to treat myself to dinner and dessert in an effort to turn my evening around. I'd actually found Henry's a few days ago while looking for a hot dog spot. I'd already devoured a dinner plate when I arrived so a hot dog was out of the question for this visit but I'm totally doing a hot dog, followed by ice cream on my next visit. My split cone, and patriotic rainbow sprinkled waffle cone was soul satisfying! I sat outside and it melted all over. Not a single f given. I left a sticky mess but totally worth it. I'll surely return in the future and hope these two flavors are staples because they nailed them. I've tasted some great ice cream and to be completely honest, that wedding cake flavor should be award winning if it isn't. The flavor profile combined with the texture components. Sensational! Service was friendly. Highly recommend.

I ordered a crepe cake for my son's 21st birthday as a request he wanted so we found Mango Mango Dessert on Google. My daughter called to inquire on how much the cake was and was told $85 cash but $115 if you pay by credit card. I was in disbelief that the fee to pay by credit card would be $30 more. We placed the order and I took cash and had my phone to pay by card. We got there and the young lady asked my daughter if we were paying by cash or card. My daughter responded card. I got to the counter and then we interacted with a gentleman and I asked him could I pay by card. He said yes and rung it up, the total came to $104.63. I asked him how much was the cake and he said $85 but there's a processing fee. I responded that that was a high processing fee and normally businesses I've interact with only charge 3% convenience fee at the most. To avoid paying the $19.63 processing fee, I paid $85 cash for my transaction but I don't think a consumer should have pay the merchant's processing fee to that extent for that amount and I got a free mango smoothie for the points I would have earned for my purchase. The mango smoothie was absolutely delicious and for that I will go back again because I haven't found anyone that makes a smoothie with real mangos and it was sweet. I will also add that their customer service was still very nice. If you are interested in getting a cake made here, it's cost effective to pay by CASH.
