    Garlic Honey Butter Chicken

Ordered at the new H-Mart in Dallas and got the boneless honey butter garlic chicken. Breading was perfectly crispy, juicy chicken and great amount of sauce. Excited to try some wings and other flavors

Hands down, this is the best K-fried chicken place I've found in town. It's located in the food court at Hmart but don't let that keep you from missing out on this hidden gem. Originally we discovered the "Don" back when we lived in Austin but so glad to find again all over again. Their portion sizes are great, service is fantastic and the flavors are just amazing! Honestly we end up coming back so often cause my kid enjoys it so much. Especially the soy garlic wings D4A, fries, and cheese sticks.

I think this is the best korean fried chicken place in Plano, and o honestly can't think of another place in the metroplex that I like better. The flavor is always perfect, the food and service are top notch. Just great fried chicken at a really good price. It even travels well in the containers they use.

Delicious, perfectly sauced, and cooked fresh just like the Korean fried chicken I had at Osan Air Base.

However, I sometimes have to be in north Dallas for business, and this one on Forest is close enough to justify the side trip. I can still say that Mike's has the best damn chicken in DFW. I agree that the sides can be a little underwhelming, and nowadays I usually just grab a couple spicy breasts (yea baby) and sometimes an order of fries (nothing fancy, still good) and forget the plates. But honestly, this is one of those places that you come for the main attraction and if you're counting anything else, well, that's just not right. Yes, you can wait 15 minutes or more when you order at the counter. I've finally come to the point where when my work is done, I borrow someone's computer and order it online, and it's usually ready by the time I get there. This is the way to do it. It's so hot when I pick it up, by the time I get back to my main hub 20-30 minutes later, it's the perfect temp to eat. Don't listen to any Elite types who bad mouth any of the locations. I've never had anything but perfect chicken here. Try it for yourself.

I kept wondering who Mike was, so I looked it up--turns out Mike's Chicken is Vietnamese-owned, which somehow made me trust the operation even more. Fair warning: when you go, be ready to wait about 20 minutes--or order ahead like someone who values their time. They cook everything to order. I was like, what? In this fast-food age of heat lamps and broken dreams? But the wait is worth it. The chicken comes out fresh and hot as fuck. Crispy, juicy, and clearly made by people who respect the craft. This isn't grab-and-go chicken. This is sit down, shut up, and appreciate chicken.

I enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant with the large mural of a Hawaiian beach and simple island decor peppered throughout. The restaurant is also very clean. I also was fairly happy with the portion sizes for the chicken dishes. The vegetables in the Hawaiian plates were cooked very well and were really good complements with the lunch meals. What didn't work for me: The decoration alone is where this stopped feeling like a Hawaiian restaurant. The Hawaiian plates felt more Asian inspired rather than true Hawaiian inspired. The flavor is excellent, don't get me wrong, but I felt it was a bit of an identity crisis. The Beef BBQ short rib pieces were fatty and overcooked. I had only a few tender bites of beef but the rest was so chewy and fatty that I had to spit it out. Also only had 6-7 pieces of short rib for a $20 plate which I didn't really feel was worth it. The chicken katsu was crispy however I didn't care for the quality of the chicken meat. It was very stringy and tough to bite through in some areas. I was very much looking forward to the macaroni salad but it was just fine. I had high hopes for this one but it just wasn't creamy enough to blow me away. If you have ever visited a Hawaiian island and ever felt like you needed a fix of that memorable vacation, this place won't bring you back to those island memories but you will still be treated very well from a very kind staff. Their attitude is very aloha however I hope one day I can take a bite of their meal and be transported back to island vibes. I would recommend this place if you want solid Asian flavors, but not Hawaiian island specific flavors.

You can tell it's made with care, not just rushed food. I usually prefer Hyderabadi biryani (India)but trying this Pakistani-style version was something different for me and I actually liked it for a change. It has its own unique flavor and style that stands out. The owner, I believe his name is Br Arshad, is extremely humble and very attentive. He personally makes sure customers are taken care of, which really adds a nice touch. One thing to keep in mind it's better to call before going. They prepare the biryani fresh every few hours, so you'll most likely get it hot and freshly cooked, which makes a big difference in taste. I also noticed that not just the biryani, but their other menu items are very reasonably priced. Definitely planning to go back and try more. Their weekend lunch buffet also looks very attractive and is priced quite low compared to other places. The ambiance is simple, not fancy, but the hospitality and customer service are top-notch. That kind of warmth is hard to find these days. Really hope they continue the same quality and service going forward.
