The smaller inflatable slide had a bounce house attached. There was someone manning it but he was on his phone and just letting every kid in so kids were bouncing on top of others. Lots of tears coming out of that one. The merry go round goes extremely fast for a kids ride. I was shocked they had a ride for littles going that fast! The cotton candy station was a hot mess. The food court is not worth it. The chicken strip basket had 2 chicken strips and 5 tater tots. If you get a side of tater tots you get 7-8 tater tots. Overall I would say for the cost, I don't think it's worth it. There wasn't enough to actually do. There are other places in the area with more things to do, that are safer for your kids and also worth the price.

I see cross-fit groups out here all the time. There is a huge running/walking/biking loop around the entire park and connecting to other routes. I think also some kids soccer groups also play here. Families: there is a very large playground with benches and shade! It's top notch and well maintained. Tweens/teens- there are benches and sick places to hang. You can even bring hammocks. There is plentiful parking. Picnic tables. Families often come out on nights with solar events and their telescopes. To be fair it is super well lit so it may not be the best place for star gazing, but you get many people to interact with. Plus let me add for Pokémon Go players- three gyms and 6 Pokéstops so this makes for excellent playing.

Passing this park on an out-of-the-way side street for the last two years, I noticed a "workout area" towards the entrance to the park. I made a mental note to stop and check it out but, never did until today. I usually work out daily at the recreation center but, recently due to Omnicron, I've been looking for an interesting outside place to get some exercise. I remembered passing this place and decided to check it out. On pulling up I was initially disappointed. I guess I thought the structure should be bigger, more interesting, more challenging! then I started using it. Bam!!! Hello! I thought I was in decent shape for my age but, boy was I wrong. I couldn't even make it through a few exercises on this "adult playground"!!!! It just shows you can't judge a book by its cover or make assumptions. You have to Do It. this great little outdoor gym known as the Miracle is just that. In a fairly small area, several exercises are demonstrated via placard if you need them. It will wear you out, challenge you in ways you didn't anticipate. I'm so glad I found this outdoor place to exercise in the fresh air at this time. I feel I'm getting a type of physical challenge that I didn't inside a gym. Definite Go!

They love their workouts here, and the coaches are great. KidStrong has experienced considerable growth since our days at the Frisco location (we are now at Prosper). Our family has gained much skill, discipline, and capability thanks to the fantastic coaches and curriculum at KidStrong. Can't get this anyplace else. The ranking system is similar to a Karate classes belt system, with fun titles: Alpha, Hero, Maximus, etc. Our kids are full of pride when they wear their jerseys, and inspire leadership amongst the other kids thanks to the lessons taught. My son (2 years 6 month) is an extremely social, active child who loves being on the move and participating in sports. He does not have any special needs or conditions, so I was genuinely surprised by how difficult the experience became for him. I eventually stopped taking him to the Saturday classes because of the way the coach interacted with the children. From my perspective, her attitude toward the kids often made it seem like she simply did not enjoy working with them. The experience affected my son so much that going back to class became almost traumatic for him. I then had no choice but to switch to Sundays, which meant going earlier in the morning, even though that schedule was much less convenient for us. Unfortunately, I also found the coaches in general to be not particularly attentive. Most of the time, my husband was the one explaining the exercises to our son, encouraging him, and helping him actually participate and progress during class. After only three classes during the first month, we decided the program was simply not a good fit for our family and requested to cancel the membership. Unfortunately, we missed the cancellation deadline by only two days. Even after explaining the circumstances and how little we had actually used the membership, Kids Strong refused to make an exception and insisted on charging us for a third month. They offered to reduce the charge to half, but I still find it unreasonable to pay for another month when my son only attended three classes in total during the first month and will not be returning.

I showed up early to our slot and was the first one let in about 5 min early. Everything had been reset for our session - they did have walk ins as well. During our visit a total of 5/6 other kids and their parents. About 9/10 play stations available so plenty of space and options. My sons favorites were the house and dessert shop. Entrance is about $13 includes 2 hours and a snack when they leave which is a nice transition! The employee was so kind and always had the most beautiful smile on. I really enjoyed this and was surprised my son lasted the whole time playing!

Which,it really was back then. Jump forward and civilization has grown right up to the doorstep. However,once you park and enter,another world opens up. They've done a great job of developing the place where you can go and see what north Texas was in its unspoiled condition, as well as participating in organized activities. Such things as flashlight night walks for all ages to the fund raiser I attended today. There's something for everyone especially if you're new to this area.
