Anyway, I heard the woman a few orders before mine ask if we had to do the tacos x2 (on the menu, they're listed as you getting two of the same tacos). He said you could mix it up if you wanted to try different tacos. When it was my time to order, I asked if I could do that as well, and he said I could. I ordered the sloppy taco and the fried avocado taco. Both sounded delicious, and I was going to share them with my girlfriend. She wanted to try those as well (I ordered before she texted me back... But luckily I ordered what she wanted). If you order two tacos that are different, they'll charge you the higher price of the two. That's totally OK with me, but just a heads up. They give you one of those alert squares that lets you know when your order is ready, that way you can go back to your table or whatever. I just hung out there and waited with the rest of the folks who had ordered. My buzzer went off, and I went to get my tacos. Instead of getting a sloppy taco and a fried avocado taco, I got two fried avocado tacos. They were busy, and I was content with getting two fried avocado tacos because they still looked delicious. The tacos were great. Nice crisp to the avocado. Flavor was spot on. Definitely worth checking out if you get the chance. Just thinking about them right now is making me hungry. I enjoyed the tacos, the staff was nice, and the truck is just a cool concept. I'd definitely try some of the other tacos in the future.

Our intentions were to build a professional relationship with them and hire them for future events since my wife is the event planning chair for our HOA community. She left SEVERAL voice mail messages before she was finally able to contact Jessica by phone. She told her about the event for our community and explained the extreme importance of her promptly providing her with an invoice, Certificate of Insurance, and W9 as required by our HOA management company. She quoted her a price for the event and said that she would forward the documents to her soon. After a few weeks and still having not received the documents she agreed to send her, she began calling and texting her as well as emailing, but never received an answer on the phone, or a response to her texts, or emails. We later saw Jessica at the McKinney Marketplace and introduced ourselves. She apologized and said she hadn't responded because she recently suffered a death in her family. She said she would definitely contact my wife with the needed information later that week. Based on the alleged circumstances, we accepted her explanation and waited for her to respond as promised. That was six weeks ago and she STILL has not responded, although the event is on October 1st. I cannot understand, or believe that any reputable business owner would ignore a paying client who is going to pay in advance of the event. It is extremely discourteous, irresponsible, and unprofessional to put a potential client through months of uncertainty while stringing them along with excuses and no explanation, instead of just telling them upfront that she did not want to provide her services for the event. Fortunately, my wife was able to locate a RELIABLE and responsive alternate to cater our event.

I opted for pork ribs and coleslaw since that's what someone else ordered. =) The ribs were really great except the rub/crust made it a little saltier than I like. But I never use salt at a restaurant, and I order my In-N-Out fries cooked light, no salt. =) I should've just rubbed a little of the salt off the ribs and/or used a little water. So I would order that again. The coleslaw had a really good spicy kick. I think I like mine a little more chopped up, but I could've just thrown it in a food processor. Anyway, definitely worth trying the coleslaw. They have an unusual pizza, but this was the first weekend they didn't have the dough. They cater. And I think they know a good cajun cook. I love cajun, so I should've asked more about whether he was catering only, or if you could pick up at the food truck. Overall, good food. Friendly owners. Innovating, but not cutting corners.
