Our server was a very sweet local high school student. My wife and I both had the rocky road, which was excellent. I also had some pistachio. Earlier this summer we got to spend 7 days in Italy. We had gelato several times. I learned that high-quality pistachio ice cream isn't the bright lime green color we're used to in the U.S. If you'll notice, raw pistachios are a very pale green color / almost tan. A passionate Italian ice cream maker taught us to watch out for the lime-green pistachio ice cream.....it's loaded with lots of artificial dyes. I'm happy to report that the pistachio ice cream today was a tannish, pale green. Way to go Hibbitt's!!!

I really enjoy Dairy Queen for their ice cream and Blizzards, but the hot food has rarely been very good, and this just confirmed it for me. The sandwich didn't have good flavor, the sauce didn't work, and overall it just wasn't enjoyable. I'll continue to stop here for ice cream only, because that's where Dairy Queen really shines -- but I wouldn't recommend the hot food based on this experience. The ambience was also dead no Christmas music or any music was playing like normal. The service was good.

The flavors here are unique and delicious. Great selection of toppings. The space bright and cheerful, several little tables to choose from. I saw taro on the list and HAD to have it. I got half chocolate with taro on top and added mini chocolate chips. It was the perfect combo of flavors and textures on a hot day (it was 94 deg out) My daughter got the same thing but without the chocolate chips and she said it was so refreshing. I should have gotten the waffle cone, it's made in shop and I will definitely get that when I come back!
