I tried Jeremiah's for the first time today. I first had Italian Ice of this variety back in 2013,…read morewhen I tried Rita's out in Arlington, VA. Annnd, in the interest of full disclosure, I had Italian Ice... REAL Italian Ice in Italy and in Germany (Eis). Both, Italian-Italian Ice and German Eis are actually firm and maintain their spherical shape when scooped. Also, both are more syrupy as they melt than the Jeremiah's (and Rita's) varieties. The main differences between Jeremiah's and Rita's is that Rita's is custard and Jeremiah's is "ice cream;" more akin to Dairy Queen's Soft Serve®. Flavor-wise, I could not tell the difference! The "Ice," on the other hand, at Jeremiah's was markedly colder than Rita's and, therefore more of a firm frozen soft ice, rather than an icy slushy treat. With all of that said, I thoroughly enjoyed Jeremiah's!!! What I was most impressed with, is that Jeremiah's has a lot of variety and availability of their Ice assortment. The Rita's I visited in VA normally offered five or six different Ice flavors on any given day, and not really any consistency with the same flavors from day to day. So, if one identified a particular favorite flavor, it was hit or miss trying to catch Rita's on the day the favorite was being offered. To say the least it was frustrating. And, for those who may have tried the Rita's in Allen, TX, before it closed, I'm sure we feel the same sentiment that lack of flavor options was the proverbial nail in the coffin and the likely reason it did not survive scrutiny and customer dissatisfaction. One last noteworthy thing about Jeremiah's, they actually feature a rewards app, which I cannot wait to start using to accumulate freebies or discounts! Also, I like the idea that Jeremiah's apparently takes its name from, THE "Jeremiah," who was a bullfrog... was a good friend of mine... and whose, words said I never understood... and, who always shared his wine with me! LOL!! The inside of Jeremiah's was very clean and the bathrooms were also clean and well stocked! Bottom Line: Jeremiah's is here to stay, I'm sure! But, in order for good businesses to survive, people must visit them, and visiting Jeremiah's SHOULD be on your To Do list! If you don't, your loss. If you do, Win - Win; for you, those in your accompaniment, and people like me who want to see Jeremiah's succeed and stick around! Before you go, check out my pics and... Eat well. Be well. Cheers!

My daughter had chicken tenders with tater tots, and I had the "mini" bbq bacon burger with onion rings. Because I'm a sucker, I let my daughter order a brownie sundae. Honestly the onions rings were some of the best I've ever had! Super crispy, not greasy, perfect amount of salt. The burger was really great too. My daughter said she loved it and was especially fond of their honey mustard sauce. The brownie sundae was massive and could definitely be shared between two people - I was full and didn't touch it and didn't let my 7 year old finish because I knew it would give her a sugar high - not that she didn't try! Ha. The restaurant is definitely a spin from the Route 66 era and had throw back music, decor, and red leather booths. Everything was squeaky clean. We'll be back!

I really wanted this place to be good. I enjoy burger shake type places (think Freddies, Steak &…read moreShake, P.Terry's down south). But this place missed the mark both in food and in dining experience. As other's mentioned, it's a fast food place but as you walk up to the door there is a sign saying "If dining in, please see the hostess at the stand." Well, there wasn't a stand. It was rather empty, so as we went in several staff welcomed us, and told us to sit anywhere. The food was less than stellar. My wife had me take a bite of her burger and the texture was mealy. I would have never guessed 100% beef. It tasted ok, not beefy. Both my hot dogs were burnt. Maybe they were supposed to illicit a grilled effect, but it missed? Onions pieces were large, what you'd find on a hamburger, not small and diced like you normally see on hot dogs. My shake was good... Can't complain about the taste and as someone mentioned it was thick! The inside was a let down... The white subway tiles looked like they were installed by amatuer DIY contractors. Several tiles were not level with others, the grout lines were not uniform, and some tiles were sticking proud (too much bonding material?). The floor was concrete, and while that is a nice feature, this looked unfinished, similar to a garage floor. There were several gouges in the concrete. Our table was already wobbly. As others mentioned, its fast food but sit down service. All the serving plates were either styrafoam or plastic boats lined with paper. There was also several pieces of trash on the floor. The tables looked like they were wiped down, but when looked at more closely they were sticky (I'm guessing too much solution and not enough water?) With as many staff just sitting around and not doing anything I don't see any reason for trash on the floor (another commenter mentioned about just the one cook in back and several staff just standing around and we expierienced the same thing. The server should receive high marks. She was a young lady, and this might have been her first job, but she was learning what to do, and what to say. She was very courteous, and helped clean our table.

Oh happy day!! Princeton finally has Dairy Queen back, and it's a winner. Expected this first day…read moreto be a rough one, but they had their ducks in a row!! We walked in to a very busy place, but there were lots of employees and smiling faces greeting us amidst their hard work!! We didn't have to wait long to order, and my picky eating forced the order taker to have to really explore her monitor to perfect my particular demands. She got great coaching from her (I'm guessing) manager, and I was ordered and paid out in no time! We took our number tent, walked past the long freezer full of beautiful ice cream cakes and boxes of traditional DQ treats to the drink fountain. We filled our drinks, sat down, and before I could finish checking in on Facebook, our order was brought to us! DQ Dude combo for the husband, chicken taco salad for me, no sour cream, with salsa and a drink! Dude and fries came out hot and fresh, mayo on both sides of the bun just like it's supposed to be. Taco salad had hot beans, hot chicken, cool lettuce and cheese and such - done perfectly! We were checked on a couple times by a couple of employees to make sure we had what we needed and were satisfied. I heard lots of employees giving and receiving compliments to team workers, what a positive thing to hear. Place was super clean, super busy, and a super experience! Looking forward to going back for more of our favorite DQ menu items soon. I know first days are often tough, and I suspect they'll only be busier as they go on and may hit some bumps, but kudos to such a great start!

(2 Stars) December 11, 2025…read more I had the Dr. Pepper Patty Melt on this visit and it was unfortunately pretty awful. I really enjoy Dairy Queen for their ice cream and Blizzards, but the hot food has rarely been very good, and this just confirmed it for me. The sandwich didn't have good flavor, the sauce didn't work, and overall it just wasn't enjoyable. I'll continue to stop here for ice cream only, because that's where Dairy Queen really shines -- but I wouldn't recommend the hot food based on this experience. The ambience was also dead no Christmas music or any music was playing like normal. The service was good.
