This place is amazing! The two guys that are always here are so friendly and know what I want by my face. They have it ready when I am pulling up to the window. Their snow is soft and so flavorful and they put it into a little swirl at the top too!! Cheapest options around as well. I recommend the mango and Chamoy with a little chilly powder on top. Terrible wait time for a snow cone have no idea why it takes so long to serve someone one snow cone. The one in frisco is a lot quicker.

I love this shave ice SO much! Best I've had in decades. It's very finely shaved with just the right amount of syrup. All flavors I've tried have been delicious. Wedding cake with cream is my personal favorite; tried coconut recently and loved it. My son got peach and vanilla with cream, which was wonderful. Great prices, quick service, and absolutely authentic and yummy shave ice. I go every time I'm in town! We've never had any issues with the service. We read the reviews and were prepared... we gave our sizes first ("We want 2 large, 2 medium, and 1 small"). They came back in about 30 seconds and said, "What do you want on the first large?" And we went down the line one at a time that way. Very efficient and no rude or unfriendly interactions in 2 recent visits. read more

The customer service and Lack of professionalism. The two gentlemen working were vaping infront of customers. The guy at the window was rude and lacked attention to detail. He made the wrong orders and began to argue in defense of his mistake. I recommend the owner reevaluate who they have working for them. read more

My husband's favorite place to get snocones. He feels he is a connoisseur of them and insists that TC's is the best no matter where you go because of the way they make their ice. He also likes their flavors and they are less expensive than other stands. They are CASH ONLY so come prepared, and check out the picture of their menu I uploaded for flavors and prices. It is a drive-thru, so you don't have to get out. They seem to be open when they feel like it because there are no hours posted, but during the summer it seems to be all day. read more

Place would be five stars if they weren't so rude. The guy who is usually working doesn't even give you time to place your full order. They open the window and say "what size?" That's how they greet their customers?! It's hit or miss if you actually get cream when you order it because they are in such a rush even with no line. The snow cones though are top notch. read more

I was in McKinney and my nieces & nephews wanted snow cones . My sis n law took us to this place, because I like supporting small businesses. We had a car full of kids, who had never been there. The man at the window was rude. He didn't let us get our entire order out before closing the window to pass the order on to the other employees. He told us that next time we need to be ready with our order before getting to the window. They only have a menu at the window, so new people won't see it til they pull up. If we didn't have the kids with us I wouldn't have placed an order after that kind of attitude. The snow cones are basic which perfect for kids. There were barely any pickles or flavor on my "Piccadilly" it was just sad. They need to work on their customer service and order taking because it's unorganized. If they wrote the sizes on the cups and passed them on, it would go faster instead of passing on by word of mouth. Three of our snow cones were wrong size or flavor. Didn't even bother to get it fixed the guy was in such a hurry. read more

This place is CASH ONLY! The prices are very low, so I'm sure that you have $2-3 laying around somewhere...and that's enough to get yourself a generous sized shaved ice. The way they shave the ice here is quite unique. I'd never had anything like it...and the snow cone is velvety smooth. I've only had snow cones at faires and the like in the past with the very granular round ice that you crunch on...but this one was a pleasant surprise. The flavor itself (strawberry) was just alright. Given the cheap price and convenience, I'll give a few other flavors a try. The strawberry kind of tasted like it was just out of some huge vat of chemical liquid like you get at the fair...nothing special there. So I'd skip this flavor and try something else next time. It can take a little bit of time, waiting in line, since they're chipping away at the ice fresh each time you pull up to the window. I'm not sure if you're expected to tip...or how you would if you are, since it is a drive through. read more

Really disappointed. Many times we go during business hours and nobody is there. What put the nail in the coffin for me was when the lady working-who had just handled cash and her cell phone-touched my snow cone with bare hands. She transferred the ice from one cup to a larger one using her bare dirty hands. I'm not paranoid but come on. I won't be back. I'm sad because they have really good flavors. read more

I live less than a mile from TC's on McDonald. I've had nothing but headaches going to this location, but tonight (7/7/13) was the absolute final straw. I sat in line for 12 minutes (!) while the guy in front of me waited for his order. I could see the employees dancing and talking while leaning against the counter. Ummm... shouldn't you fill orders before you slack off? After 12 minutes, I left. Each previous time visiting this location has been a disappointment as well. I will NOT be back. read more
