There's seating in the front of the truck if you would like to enjoy your food there. Thete are no drinks available, however you can go to the gas station for some. I stopped by here today after being in the area and searching for tacos and was happy to find this taco truck. I ordered the elote, carne asada tacos, and chicken tacos. The food was made fresh to order, and it took about 10 minutes for me to get my food. The Elote was good; I didn't get the Hot Cheetos version. The carne asada tacos were good, and they came with cheese, which I didn't expect. The cheese did overpower the taste of the steak, and the steaks were closer to a ground meat texture versus being cut into strips. The chicken taco was delicious and the chicken was seasoned well and cooked tender. If you're in the area give them a try! read more

I have lived so close to this food truck for 3 years. And didn't know it existed. I have driven by what seems like a million times. HOW could I have not known about it? Thanks to Yelp's algorithm of what it thinks I may be interested in, I came the next day after learning of it. Oh. My. Gosh. Those birria tacos are the best I've ever had. And that list of "ever had" includes the famous-in-DFW-for-its-birria-tacos taco truck that got his own restaurant in Allen a year or so ago. Those aren't even in the same stratosphere of deliciousness as these from King Kups. Hands down! This is now in my weekly rotation. The young woman at the counter was a delight, even though she had to tell picky me all the ingredients in the taco a couple of times before I ordered without onions. And I love the artwork on the truck. This place Is great!!! Tons of specials if you check their FB. Carne asada fries are about $9 for a tray and it came with tons of cheese. Too much in my opinion. They also have a Taki version for $3 more but I did not feel like going for it today. Their birria tacos are A Game!! Juicy and tasty. The tortillas are on the crispier side which is different yet works well with the meal. The Carne asada tacos are good as well. I would not recommend the chicken taco as highly, since the other two types are such a drastic difference in perfection. But if you like chicken, go for it! Went for the first time the other day. Taco truck located at the Exon. Ordered and seemed transactional, not very personable. Tried all 3 tacos. Tortillas were excellent. The carne asada was disappointing. More like ground meat and did not have the flavor of carne asada. Had a mushy texture due to being like ground beef and beef tartare and odd flavor. Salsa would helped cover it up. The chicken tacos and the birria tacos were spot on. Only given the broth for the birria to dip it in. No salsa given for the other tacos. So glad I tried this place. It is a food truck set up outside a gas station. There is a seating area as well specifically for the customers. I hit the Birria tacos and the steak nachos. Tacos- crunchy, cheesy, meaty, and tasty. I liked them without the consommé. Nachos- boy oh boy, were these loaded. I really just should have stuck with the nachos because the helping is more than generous. I just wanted to try both items at the same time. The ingredients were fresh. The meat was flavorful. Ok ok, so I'm petty disappointed in this place. Besides the fact that they were out of tortillas but still offered up a chicken quesadilla. Hmm...no more carne asada, no more chicken, but they have shredded beef. I'm not mad at them, maybe they were super busy before I drove my happy butt to the food truck. Unassuming food truck with stellar food. Got the birria tacos, which had tender beef and au jus with deep flavor. Delicious! Also tried the keto chicken bacon ranch taco, which tasted excellent as well. Next time I'd probably get the regular taco, because the cheese shell was too fatty for me, but it's what I ordered and it did TASTE good. Either way, it's definitely worth returning! read more

May have been some of the best food I have ever had. We had the philly cheesesteak torta, carne asada fries and two tacos. The tacos (beef and chicken) may have been some of the best tacos ever. I have to give the nod to the chicken taco. The philly cheesesteak was good but not as amazing. The bread and toasting of the bread was off the charts. Don't get me wrong, it was a good sandwich but I left feeling like it needed some Mexican flare with avocado or something. The fries were really good with many flavors and spice on a collision course. Their fries were very tasty and seasoned well. My only dissatisfaction was no birria tacos. So this place had been on my list for a while and I'm so glad that I finally got to try it today!! I got the birria tacos and the carne asada fries. I ordered my meal to go and even after a 20 minute drive home, the food was still very hot, and fresh!! You would think the fries may be a bit soggy, but they weren't, at all! They were still perfectly crisp even with the toppings piled on. I was super impressed! The birria tacos and consume were so good! The tacos were crispy on the outside, but still juicy and cheesy on the inside. The consume was super savory and had the perfect amount of spice! I could honestly eat it by itself, it was that good! The carne asada fries were good as well, although I will say, I wish the beef was a bit more tender. Despite that, the flavors were absolutely on point! These birria tacos are amazing!! The meat is super juicy and soft, it just breaks apart inside my mouth. The consomé was delicious, and pairs well with the birria tacos. I do wish that they give you a bigger container for the consomé, because I like to REALLY dip my tacos in there. Prices are definitely not bad for a food truck-- birria was only $7 for two! I can't stop thinking about those carne asada tacos and fries! What kind of seasoning is on that meat that makes me want to eat it on the daily? Those chicken nacho libres were so great too! I was dying for some Birria Tacos after being haunted by ads of them and never being able to find any or, even more specifically, never being able to find them at places that weren't already Instagram famous so I didn't have to sit through an hour long line to get some tacos. That's when I came upon this Food Truck. I was so smitten at the idea of Birria Tacos because of viral social media posts, that I'm not going to lie, my expectations were a bit high. And let me tell you, this place has blown all of those expectations away not only in flavor, but also in service. I came back a second time, and upon that, ordered 2 Tacos and a Torta. The cashier missed the two tacos on the order, and the chef gave me two free of charge. Absolute stellar customer service. As for the food, I've tried the Birria Tacos, the Birria Torta, and the Birria Mulita. The Birria Tacos were out of this world. I got Carne Asada everything. I wasn't expecting just how crunchy they were and how well flavored the Consome is. Crunchy on the outside and unbelievably tender and juicy on the inside is a killer combo. The Mulita was much of the same. But the Torta, was my absolute favorite Torta of all time. The bread was well toasted on the inside and had buttery garlic goodness layering the whole side. It took me a long time to try the place and now I'm truly confused at all of the high reviews. I tried three different things and didn't finish a single one. If I returned, and that's not looking likely, I absolutely wouldn't re order anything. I love carne asada...so I got two things with carne asada. What I was served...does not resemble anything close to carne asada....it was more like a strange red ground chorizo tasting meat product? I'm from Southern California. I've spent decades eating authentic California Mexican and this is not carne asada. It doesn't taste like it, it doesn't look like it, I don't know what the heck it was that I ate. I saw the photos of it on Yelp and just assumed that it would taste better than it looked...but it did not. I got the carne asada fries, which were loaded up with bland nacho cheese, the red meat mixture, and cilantro. I don't think mine had onions and I tasted no lime. I ate a few and stopped. Mariana's in Frisco does a good carne asada fry and this one was barely recognizable as such. I think it needs guac and pico or at least onion and lime. The tacos would have been good, if I'd gotten something other than carne asada. They are the only reason I would consider returning and the reason for the second star in this review. Again, the meat was awful but rest of the taco has so much potential. Loved the homemade shell and it had cheese cilantro and onions. Wasn't expecting the cheese but it at least wasn't the weird nacho stuff from the fries. It needed salsa. None was included with my order, I don't know if they offer any, but I had to add my own from home. They were priced slightly higher than most street tacos locally but they were much larger and well filled, I would say a good value for what they were. Lots of potential here, just pick another meat. Finally, I got an elote cup, traditional flavor. It was fine. Nothing amazing, nothing wrong with it. Probably could use some more seasoning instead of relying on the hot sauce. For those looking for this place, it's a stationary food truck, contrary to what the Yelp map shows. There are a few shaded picnic tables to sit at, but it is the side of a gas station so it's gonna get hot during the summer. Food: 2/5 - If you like carne asada, don't order it here. Unique food experience bc first time having this style taco with a crispy fried tortilla vs typical taco shell or soft flour or corn tortillas found with majority of street taco places. If you like CaliMex food, this is the go-to place in McKinney, don't bother with the others. My wife had the Carne Asada tacos which were some of the best shes ever had. I got a Fry Burrito which was also delicious. The elote was a large portion and was super good, we also got some churros and a chicken quesadilla and the check was still only $34! I couldn't believe the value, especially with the staff being super friendly, and the food coming out quickly and freshly made to order. They were out of the Birria tacos which was a bummer, but we will be back again to try those. I've been out of town on weekends so this was the first time they were open and I've been in Mckinney. They are located on the northeast corner of 75 and Virginia. The food truck is housed in the Exxon parking lot. The area in front of the food truck is covered. There are three tables for patrons to enjoy their meal. The hours are Thursday - Saturday from 11:00-6:00. I had the nachos libre. You should know the portion is big enough for three people to share! It is huge! It consists of a mountain of tortilla chips covered in Spanish rice, cheese sauce, crema, red and green sauce, then topped with pollo asada! I'm in love, it was so delicious. This place has been hiding in plane sight for 3yrs...what ever happened to make me miss this place, I am now thankful I found it!!! The birria were spot on. Tons of flavor with the perfect crunch, the Oaxacan cheese was damn good and the consomé was fantastic...I absolutely love Elote with my tacos so I ordeee up the Elote with hot Cheetos and I'm glad I did. Perfect size serving with so many layers of pure goodness. Cost - you get a great amount of food for the price. The tacos were loaded.
