Since the sandwich was basically a Thanksgiving meal on a bun, when the order taker/server asked if I wanted the gravy on the sandwich or on the side, and this being my first time to darken their door, I said, "on the side". My sandwich was a very reasonable $7.99. Ordered! Expect ill with tax to be $8.50-ish. NO.... $10.26. By the time it registered that something was amiss (by my thinking) she was wrapping up the order for me. I reminded her (I am sure she didn't have a clue about the story) of the mom and pop store that kept a hand broom by the register and on every order, they would automatically scan the broom. Most people never checked their receipt to know the difference and if they did it was chalked up to being an accident. That being said... I diligently searched the menu board for a side of gravy or an Asterix noting an extra charge for the gravy and it was not to be found... anywhere. She did not say anything acknowledging a problem from that side of the register. I wished her a happy New Year and left. I will be a repeat customer because the meal was great. But I should have had been told the gravy was extra. Now that I do know, I can't imagine NOT ordering the gravy.
