I stopped by Eat Streets Indian Kitchen on our home after my son spotted it the day before while we…read morewere heading to another restaurant in the same strip. The dining area is spacious and flexible, with seating that works well for individuals, couples, and larger groups. Everything was clean, and the dining area smelled of Indian spices. There is also a separate dining room available for parties, which is a nice touch. Ordering is straightforward and efficient: you walk up to the counter, place and pay for your order, the food is delivered to your table and you enjoy it. I appreciated how generous the breakfast combos are each one comes with a good amount of food. We ordered a breakfast combo with all of our favorites: dosa, upma, idli, sambar, and vada. The dosa was well-fermented, crisp, and flavorful. The upma was soft and comforting, with a moist, fluffy texture and was well seasoning. The idli was light and fluffy, and the sambar had just the right of flavor to complement it. The vada was crisp on the outside, tender inside, and paired especially well with the sambar. We finished our meal with a masala chai and left very satisfied. The prices were reasonable for the quantity and quality of food served. Eat Streets Indian Kitchen is definitely a keeper for us and a spot we will return to when we are in the area.

Conceptually, this place is great for what it is. Cheaper prices, a bit of everything at the trade…read moreoff of a self service ordering system and self cleaned dining room. The food was shockingly better than expected. My caprese warm rice bowl was worth the money. The guac and chips I got as a side were a bit stale and mid but nothing bad. My bf got the crunch wraps and noted they were dry and needed sauce, but that chorizo was a good addition. The dining room is a bit dirty, but that's to be expected when the concept is the populace cleaning up after themselves. When we were there, it wasn't crazy dirty, just not pristine. My soda from the soda machine was bad (missing lots of syrup), but I just got a different soda. Overall, it's nothing amazing, but a good more budget friendly option IMO. I don't regret that we tried it.

What trumps it for me is the fried cod, they are outstanding. The fries are just meh. The deduction in point is the melted butter dispensed in plastic baglets. It does something to the taste. ATMOSPHERE: This place looks like a clean, stripped down diner. As it should because they need to keep prices down. I have been 3 times, each time expecting my fellow patrons to not clean up after themselves but not true! It is always clean. SERVICE: The service people are behind the front working their rear off to put out great food. There is no tip jar. They are friendly and hard-working. This is where they shine! TIP: Order the extra portion lobster meat, take it home and use your own melted butter or better yet, the cod!
