My friends were selling me on this local spot when I asked what's worth seeing in the area. When we…read moreshowed up, it was exactly where I wanted to be due to the unique atmosphere and laid back Texas vibe. Grabbing their delicious frozen cocktails in a souvenir cowboy boot made the experience super fun but the best part of this place is the Toilet Seat Museum! What the what?!? You do need to down a few before heading to the second floor of this massive indoor/outdoor extravaganza. It's one of the most bizarre museums I have ever been to. All the servers were extremely friendly and our bartender even went out of his way to clean our boots and fill them with water for the uber ride home. This place is a must stop!

If they worked the cheese into the meat and/or upgraded their roll, it's got a chance for a higher score. My order: Philly with provolone and onions. Bread: Generic roll. Too much roll vs cheese/steak. Steak: Ribeye. Thicker cut - unique take. Cheese: Provolone. Good portion and taste. Not worked into steak. Onions: Thicker cut. Well cooked. Other: Size of cheesesteak is about half of that of a traditional Philly cheesesteak. And combination of too much roll vs. cheese/steak as well as the steak not being worked into the meat often leaves you with the individual taste of either roll, cheese, or steak throughout the sandwich.

Today, we made the trip all the way from Aubrey just to enjoy their tortilla soup, tacos and flautas! That should tell you how much we love this place! Highly recommend! The restaurant is run super efficiently, but it is also very popular. This was our first time here, so it was surprising that it took longer to get our table than it did to get drinks, order, and get food. The salsa is excellent. Not mushy cooked salsa, it is thin with pieces of onion, cilantro, etc.... We loved the flavor, but there's definitely plenty of onion. Husband ordered a frozen margarita which he said was "limey and lush" with the perfect amount of salt. On our Deluxe Carne Asada and Carnitas plates, the meat was the star of the show. Beans, tortillas, rice, guac, cheese enchilada, and pico were all good, but the pork and beef were excellent. The marinade used on the carnitas left bright citrus hues. The asada was tender. The sopapilla was the most buttery tasting sopapilla I've ever had. The custom tables and chairs reflect the pride taken in having a nice space. The mural on the dining room wall is a lovely, bright focal point.

Dock Local is AMAZING!…read more So after eating this garlic shrimp taco a few days ago I was craving another one. This location was closer so I decided to try it. This taco did not disappoint me at all. It was delicious and well seasoned. I enjoyed all the flavors in each bite. In fact this location gave me more shrimp! The sweet chili sauce with all the components work so well together. I think this will be in my monthly rotation for dining out. One taco definitely fills me up and is just enough. Service was quick and friendly. I felt more welcomed at this location. Ambiance is good it's a good food hall full of good food options.

One: because it was so close to my hotel but two.. mostly because it meant I could grab delicious seafood AND a sweet dessert somewhere else in the hall all in one trip without having to brave the heat again twice! I ordered the Connecticut lobster roll, which is served warm with melted garlic butter and chives on a toasted split-top bun. I paired it with a yummy side of french fries. The roll was so perfectly delicious and tasted amazingly fresh.. Im drooling just thinking about it. It was so fantastic and even better with a little squeeze of fresh lemon juice in each bite! I don't eat my seafood with butter (any seafood), so having that lemon on hand made it just right. I didn't care much for the pickles on that come on the side but I'm sure others might. The french fries were also the ultimate crispy accompaniment to round out the meal. The counter service staff wasn't super overly friendly, but the food itself was so great that I really can't complain--plus, in a fun, bustling food hall setup where you're just ordering at the counter and walking away, you really only need a quick transaction anyway. I'll definitely be back next time a lobster craving hits!
