We ordered 1/2lb of brisket and 1/2lb of ribs just to give it a try. The verdict.... The brisket was very tender but still held its form. Nice thick slices served with pickles, bbq sauce, onions and sliced white bread. The flavor was amazing, nice bark and definitely not salty like other bbq spots. Then the ribs, tender and with little effort come off the bone cleanly. Nice smoke rings however we found it lacked flavor. Maybe a little more seasoning and salt especially as I like a dry rub. The serving was accompanied by the usual, pickles, onions, bbq sauce and white bread. It also had a sweet dipping sauce which was a nice surprise. If there is one little request, I would ask for some jalapeño or banana peppers to add a little kick. But for a quick tasty bbq bite, I would definitely recommend stopping by Meat Juice. By the way it's a little cheaper too

Since that time they have provided food for three events, large and small. Each time Jessica has been extremely responsive, accommodating and went above and beyond to provide the best menu for our gatherings. The first was food truck catering for a wedding, the second was a small family meal (that we picked up at the truck one Sat.) to help that same couple celebrate an anniversary and the third event was catering a birthday/retirement party for us. She personally saw to it that we had everything we asked for and more!! I would give ten stars if I could and we will continue to visit their truck as much as possible. The cornbread was a let down, as it was a tad dry and over baked on the outside. Finished the meal off with a generous slice of their banana pudding, which I highly recommend. It hurts us to see other boricuas serving food that do not have the real Puertorican flavors. If your audience/clientele is not Puertoricans then we guess you're making them happy. Boricuas? Nope! Not sure if they don't know how to cook or don't have good recipes or just don't know how to season boricua style. We had a Tripleta & an empanadilla de carne (beef "empanada"). The Tripleta's meat had no flavor what so ever, and tons and tons of Mayo ketchup. The pernil needs TONS of more seasoning and they need to tone down the Mayo ketchup amount to about 5 notches... Then the empanadilla, the dough you can tell it was too dry so it was not smooth, or it had been frozen to death. Then the beef inside was so incredibly dry that couldn't swallow it without drinking tons of fluids and didn't have any flavor either. And on top of that, it was fried like 10 times longer than what should have been cause it was so hard and crispy it was not even funny. You can do better friend; Eddie needs to know better!!! Anyway I tried several items suggested by the gentlemen and his wife who own the truck and met their Fabulous son as well! Everything I got excellent! The meat was juicy and tender and so flavorful! This family is passionate about what they do and they "put their whole foot down n this food"!
