Worthless store, incompetent employees, will not be back. Forgot three items and were rude when told

I haven't had Carl's Jr. in a long time, but it was just as I remember it! It's a fast food burger, but something about a Western Bacon Cheeseburger that is so nostalgic for me, that it doesn't get old! The onion rings just make it hit. The fries were also fresh and the soda was perfect. May not be back any time soon, but will if I need a CJ fix in the future. read more

Moved to North Texas about 4 years ago. I finally found out they have a Carls Jr which was my favorite fast food most my life. The Double Western Bacon Cheeseburger, Big Carl and Criss Cut fries did not disappoint. Staff was friendly and food was amazing! read more

This location has the sweetest staff ever. It's like they've taken all the kindest people and put them in one spot. They tend to run out of stuff often and recently their grill went down but I don't blame the staff. They're attached to a major truck stop so it stands to reason they might run out of things frequently. We were so happy to find a Carl's as California transplants and the food is as good as ever for fast food! They stopped serving "criss cut" fries though! Bummer! read more

This Carl's Jr. is inside a Loves gas station- They do have a dine-in and a drive thru. Food is always on point, this tastes just like I remember from home. It's so hard to find these out in North Dallas but we have one in Anna, right off the 75! I had a super star and the veggies were super crisp and the burger patties had a great charbroiled flavor. Crisp cut fries were perfectly cooked! The strawberry cheesecake is surprisingly good and creamy, lol. Service was also polite and friendly! The only thing is that the cleanliness could use a little more help! If you miss Carl's burgers, than you should make the drive, it's well worth it! read more

The food is on point for Carl's JR. The staff is good, but the problem is, you can't use the app at this location. There are all kinds of deals on the app that you can't use here and they won't honor them, because they choose not to use the app. I don't eat at Carl's Jr. anymore just because of this. If they opted in to using the app , they would see me there several times a week. read more

Poor customer service. Slow, no "thank you" or even a your welcome when I say thank you. Limited options for late night food in town so stuck going here. They won't even make Chicken Tenders late night because they don't feel like putting in the work to do the hand breading. They're always "out" late night. Management needs to take a look at the late night service. The employees clearly have poor morale and job pride. Food is decent though. read more

I know that there are dozens of burgers joints and none are attached to a truck stop but I LOVE the taste of their burgers. Under normal circumstances, they would get FOUR stars, but not this time. I decided that my last meal for 2019 would be a burger from Carl's Jr. I don't eat burgers often anymore but this was how I was going out in 2019. I like my burgers simple, so I decided on the "Famous Star". Mayo-Onion-cheese. Extra Mayo Cheese and Onion. The first burger that I had from them, made my toenails curl up (good thing). And I have never eaten anything else out of this burger place. THIS TIME, my burger was cold, the onion seemed old and the cheese wasn't melted-AT ALL. In this day and age, you don't send the food back because you could NEVER know what one would do to it in retaliation. The microwave and a yelp is the alternative; although who wants to microwave a burger. So if you are ever coming through Anna and you want to stop here for a bite (burger), make SURE that the burger is fresh. read more

My experience here was just awful.. I don't eat at these types of places much but I got the Sante Fe chicken sandwich at another location and it wasn't too bad... Well I got the same thing here and I ended up only eating half of this meal.. The chicken sandwich and fries were both barely warm... The chicken was tough and not tender at all.. .The roll was totally soggy and disgusting... They only gave me a fork and no knife for my salad.. Half of this meal went in the trash.. Now I never want to eat at another one of these Carl Jr's again.. Yuck. read more

I am an old Carl's Junior customer. I love the meaty Western Bacon Cheeseburger. I was shocked to see a Beyond Meat advertisement on the door when I entered on Sunday 8-18-2019. On the posted menu, the biggest advertisement was for a 0 beef Famous Star. My wife always orders a Famous Star. The counter person seemed confused when I asked for a Famous star made with "real meat instead of Phony Baloney". What is this world coming to? AOC and the snowflakes have ruined my favorite eateries. Carls is serving a meatless Famous Star. Burger King is serving a meatless Whopper. They could at least have the decency not to use this GMO gunk in their flagship product. Where's the beef? The real Famous Star and the Western Bacon Burger were delicious. We won't be going back to Carl's for a meatless Famous Star, or Burger King for a meatless Whopper or their meatless, tasteless taco ever. Thank heaven that Whataburger still serves real hamburgers that are 100% beef. They also serve free senior drinks. Goodby Carls. It was good while it lasted. Another victim of political correctness. The employee that helped me was very rude. Loudly making fun of the individuals she was talking to at the drive through as well. "What can I get for you......Fine don't answer me, don't come here if you don't know what you want!" I added something else to my meal after already paying and she acted like I just ruined her day. When she gave me my food she threw it in my direction and quickly turned around and walked away. Ultimately, I don't feel that I should be smiling and saying thank you more than the employee. FOOD OF THE GODS!!!! Yummy Charbroiled Goodness So making a pit stop before we decided to go to Choctaw....we stopped at this Carl's Jr seeing that nothing else was open @ 10:30.pm. The Service was slow, we ordered the Famous Original $6 dollar burger combo. In addition to the burger I ordered fried zucchini YUMMY not a usual "side item" you see at a burger joint, i really loved the zucchini. The burgers reminded me of Burger King, but on a more upscale level :) too bad its in Sherman....Bye Bye Carls JR you will be missed.... read more

Super excited to have found a Carl's Jr. In Anna, Texas for a family gathering we couldn't wait to stop here. Don't expect to be treated as a valued customer. Very rude employee at the drive thru. Very impatient while trying to decide what we wanted to taking our order. What has happen to customer service? Food looks good. We are driving 45 min to an hour back home so we are unable to give a fair description of the quality of the food. But customer service trumps. I give two thumbs down on staff. Great burger joint. First let me say that the customer service here is amazing! I've contacted Carl's Jr via Twitter to say how remarkable the employees were. The food is good. They always have coupons in the mail if you live in the area, and I can never find an expiration date on them. The malts and milkshakes are delicious. Usually you can find a coupon for "buy a malt, get a small order of fries for free." Makes a perfect late night snack. The restaurant is always clean. Never been inside the restrooms, so cannot say. The drive-thru service is steady. Last time I got a man who ignored me, and I could hear him talking to a customer inside the restaurant. Quickly, another employee got on the speaker, apologized, and took my order. I love this place. I really wish there were more around. Ever since I gave up Chick-Fil-A because I disagree with their anti-gay policy, I've been eating more at Carl's Jr. My only complaint is that you cannot find them anywhere. I'm so lucky there is one in ANNA. read more

Carl's is one of two establishment that serves a decent low carb burger. One and Only is by far the best, but Carl's is open 24 hrs and serves a mean burger. I made an arrangement with corporate office so that I can bring my own condiments with no sugar added. The flame broiled burgers are excellent and the employees there are experts making a perfect burger. We try to get there once a week. The drive out of town is well worth it for such an excellent burger. My only regret is that there are no Carl's juniors in MCKINNEY. read more

It was our first time at Carl's Jr and we were pleased. Hubby had the All natural combo, I had the big Carl and our daughter devoured the western with bacon. We all enjoyed our meals. The sweet tea was perfectly sweetened which was nice since most places in Dallas make it way too sweet. My only complaint is that my burger had no pickles or tomato so I will have to make sure and ask for that the next time. read more

First time I've ever tried Carl's Jr and wow! I've been missed out. There's needs to he more of these fast food joints around. They're chicken tenders were a good size, not too greasy and great "homemade" sauces (BBQ & ranch). We also tried the Memphis BBQ burger, which was delicious. Prices weren't too bad either. This is my second review. Last one was 4 years ago. Carls is still great and getting better. I love the Western Bacon Burger. I drive 25 miles to get one at Carls. The staff is always friendly and efficient. They always bring the food to the table within 10 minutes after ordering. Always get exactly what I ordered. I have been a customer of Carls since my 1972 California college days. I have been coming to this store since it opened 20 years ago. The area around the store has grown up. Street access is better. The dining area is more family friendly. The booths no longer have telephones and truckers are fewer and more polite. You can order anything off the menu at any time. The coffee is still good. If there was a Carls within 10 miles of me I would never enter a McDonalds. Carls is what MCD should be. Their only competition is WhataBurger. Carls is fast food as it should be. read more

This location would not be so terrible if the staff was worth what they are getting paid. The last two times i've gone they have been rude, disrespectful, and most importantly lazy!!! Ive been to plenty of carls jr's being from california we have tons of them. Now i have never heard of them not being able to fry french toast sticks because it isnt breakfast. Ive gone at 2pm or 11pm back home and ordered french toast sticks! The fact that these employees give off an attitude when asked why is unecessary. It even agrivates me more when they nearly toss your food onto your lap when you pull up to the window, absolutely disgusted with this location, id rather drive the hour it will take me to visit the rackwall location. If they are to lazy to walk into the walk-in and into the freezer grab a few french toast sticks from the box and throw them into the fryer for the 2.5mins the timer is set at they obviously dont need a job being that lazy! read more
