Order #328907 We had a Sweet & Spicy Bacon Burger which had no bacon on it! We then had a Patty Melt with Bacon which also had NO Bacon! We paid for the extra bacon and the Sweet & Spicy Burger automatically comes with it. We called but no one picked up! Unfortunately by the time we came home not only was our bacon missing but also our supposed to be fresh fries were cold. Overall disappointed to get off work, just to come home to a messed up order that was repeatedly asked if it was done right because we also have a allergy family member! I was hoping they had the Dr Pepper shake. It is seasonal. I had the kids meal cheeseburger and fries. The burger is the size of a compact disc. Compared to in-n-out, this was a serious let down. The trash cans, both inside and outside, were overflowing with garbage. The tables were dirty, and the service was poor. The taquito was made and wrapped by someone who clearly has never had one before, and the vegetables on the burger were terrible. They weren't busy enough to use that as an excuse. read more

Brought my two kids here for dinner tonight. We ordered three meals, one with a chocolate shake. The food came quick enough for Whataburger, but no shake. I flagged down a manager and told her we were missing our chocolate shake. She said she get it for us, and asked what size we ordered. By the time we finished eating, still no shake. I went back to the counter and asked again. The person at the counter said they would "work on it right now." Ten minutes later, still no shake. To her credit, the young lady at the counter came back to our table and said the shake would be ready in 5 minutes. Ten minutes after that, we finally got our shake. While we waited, I saw one customer come inside from the drive-thru with the wrong sandwich, and saw another dine-in guest have similar struggles to get a cup of coffee. This Whataburger is almost perfect. Yes every time I go they screw up my order but what they give me is always hot and fresh and leaps and bounds better quality than any location I've been to in 25 years. Last week I ordered a Sausage Bob and got a Sausage Taquito and it was the greatest Taquito I've ever had sober. Went to the Whataburger today. I was really hoping my visit today would be a good one, but it wasn't. I'll start out by saying folks were pretty nice and the fries were good, but that's about all the optimism I can muster from this visit. Issue 1: The place was a mess: food, drink, and ice cream all over the floor, tables, fountain drink counter, and the fronts of the trash cans. There were tables that sat uncleared from previous guests for our entire visit. The fountain drink nozzles had fibers hanging from them; maybe from a hand towel. Issue 2: They were out of chicken and out of ketchup. (I get there are supply chain issues, so this honestly wasn't a huge deal. But things must be really bad to be out of ketchup.) Issue 3: The chair I sat in was broken apparently. I figured this out when I was trying to scoot my chair forward; the seat came up and then smashed down on my finger. Got a nice, bruised fingernail from that darn thing. Issue 4: The order did not come out too well. I got charged for an extra item after the cashier asked my child if she wanted it. I said no. She put it on there anyway. I noticed it on the receipt when we sat down. When we got our food, the extra item wasn't with it. I went back and asked about it, at which point the cashier got the the extra item for me. I also said we were dining in, and then the order came out to-go (not really a big deal, but another small mistake). Finally, the fish sandwich I ordered was noticeably overdone. Didn't take too very long to get our food (about 10 minutes), but man. If they were making gains before, they have really regressed now. Nasty environment, common menu items missing, broken chair that caused a small injury, and multiple issues with the order. I really do not like to complain, but this was bad. Go to another Whataburger. This one is not worth the agony. read more

When you make the decision to eat at this location, keep in mind you wont leave the drive thru line for 30-40 minutes. You have a lot of options nearby that will get you your order in a reasonable time. The worst part is, even if you want to leave because you've wasted 20 minutes of your life in the lane, you're blocked in and you can't leave. We ordered 2 #1's with large fries and large unsweet tea with extra iceand cheese on the burger. We were almost home when we found that we did not get cheese, the tea was sweet and did not have extra ice. I had repeated the order twice and 3 times on the unsweet tea and extra ice. They did not charge for the cheese so billing was correct for the order. We did not have time to go back. It is disheartening because we have had good service in the past but lately they have trouble getting everything right. This is my second review and I promised that I would not eat here anymore. I kept my word but picked up an order for my friend, this evening. Please read the review because there was some serious cross contamination going on here. The line is ALWAYS long when Chick FiL A is closed. As a result, I parked and went in. I did not want the food to be cold by the time I arrived at the window. A dark haired guy with curls took my order. He was polite. He had a mask on but it was underwear his nose. As I waited, he went into the kitchen, came back out and proceeded to pull the trash with zero gloves on. I washed this young man go back into the kitchen and touch bags. I was horrified and pissed that I had left my phone in the car. This would have made FACEBOOK, had that phone been in my purse. As I eased my way closer to the kitchen area so that I can POST UP to see all that I can, a man walked into the establishment and asked for one of the employees. He wasn't masked. The employee came out and advised that her shift would be over in 30 min. They shared banter before he left. The young man left and returned about 10 min later. He could see her from where he was standing and he beckoned for her. She come back out, they conversed and she proceeded to go out the door with him. By the time I was able to leave the restaurant with my order, she was inside the door of the car, leaning inside talking to what looked to be like three additional people in the car. They were NOT masked. Did they have Covid? Did she replace her gloves? Did she was her hands before going back into the kitchen? Who know but all that I saw during my 15-20 min in there was UNACCEPTABLE behavior. The primary problem here is that she was ON THE CLOCK! You have ZERO business outside of your work area when you should be working. You dear are STEALING time. Whataburger, you are setting yourself up to lose business, incur complaints or be sued. Professionalism and safety is KEY! In closing, my friend complained about the onion rings being overcooked and stated that THIS WAS the worst burger that he has EVER eaten at ANY WB. I'm currently trapped in this dysfunctional drive thru. Might as well share with others how incredibly inefficient this location is. For one, this is not my first trip to a Whataburger. I've loved many places in north Texas and been to plenty of Whataburger locations. That said, this is the most inefficient drive thru operation I have ever seen, and I'm talking more than just Whataburger. Tonight they have gone with their illustrious plan of having both speakers open, then asking patrons to merge into a single lane. It is about the most convoluted thing I've ever seen, and they do it on the regular. If you're going to have two speakers open, then have the proper staffing to operate then both. Otherwise, just have one and streamline the operation. Previously I had visited this location and ordered breakfast to pick up through the app. I was not so pleasantly greeted by one of the location managers whom I recognize from the Stacy road location years ago. More on her later. She went on about how she had no idea what my order was because " the computer is going crazy." Meanwhile, there's not a soul in the drive thru, not the restaurant, nor the app pickup area. So as crazy as the computer might be, I'm pretty certain we can narrow down that I'm picking up the only order you have at all. Along with that, she has no idea how to wear a face covering. All three times she came to speak to me, she was dawning her epic "chin diaper," which I'm pretty sure is not effective. I don't care what your views are on the whole mask thing, but if we're all being mandated to wear them, then you need to get it right. Back to our manager friend I recognize from a previous location. I could be way off, but she used to be at the Stacy location in Allen. Not surprisingly, that used to be the location I avoided like the plague, because she couldn't get any orders right, and true to form she operated the slowest drive thru in history. I kinda feel bad for the employees at this location. They are all very pleasant and genuinely care. Problem is the leadership is pointing them in a terrible direction, and really doesn't belong. Bummer. Ok. So I know I can sound pretty satirical, but it's not because I'm mean. Again, I wish the nice employees here didn't have to be stuck with such terrible management. I drive to McKinney now every time for Whataburger to risk having a little colder food but I know it will be fresh and have all my items without having to double check. I said there's a long line in the drive-through. Worker tells me there's a long line all the time, and then tells me to read the signs that are posted everywhere, which tell me to wear my mask before entering.
