    The Traditional breakfast.
    Charles W.

Went to Talia's for breakfast and ordered The Traditional. The eggs over easy and sausage patties were overcooked. The biscuit was the best part of the meal. Very nice done. Fruit was okay. Overall it was an average meal. Service was pretty good.

First time visit. I highly recommend. The food was mostly amazing. The croffle was delicious. The chicken fried chicken was huge with very flavorful gravy. The grits weren't my cup of tea. Way too watery for my personal taste. The pancake was amazingly delicious. The coffee was good. We got no refills because the waitress was quite busy with lots of tables

Came here for brunch and got a latte and a skillet meal. The service was good and the skillet was tasty and the portions were large. Usually I can finish a skillet meal when I order it, but I was able to take some of this home for later. Nice place to meet up with a friend, it was quiet and clean.

My first time here was not a good experience however coming back now, the service is a lot better and the food was great!

The croffles were so yummy with the fresh berries. It was a food balance. I asked for the nutella on the side which allowed me to switch between that and the syrup as I wanted. Not overly sweet which I liked. I went for brunch Sunday morning and it was busy. I had to wait for like 15 minutes and service was a little slow but I wasn't super bothered by it. Their savory items looked delicious too.

Our server, Presley, did an amazing job! The food was incredible! The Croffles were so good that I can't wait to go back. The vibe of the restaurant is really chill. It has a good sense of modernism meets family. We are definitely going to comeback. The owner was nice as well. We really appreciated the time. Wife is Postpartum so it was great seeing her being able to go out and have the first mimosa since 11 months ago. Very special place for us now.

Food was great , customer service was decent! The staff were really nice. If you want a nice breakfast you should definitely give it a try

This was a great brunch experience! We made a reservation ahead of time. There was a line of people when we arrived and we were seated immediately. There were 8 of us in our party. The atmosphere was great, there is a piano in the room and someone got on it and started playing while we were there. The service was great! The waiter was kind and attentive. The place wasn't too loud as we were able to have conversation. We went on a Saturday and it was pretty full. Pricing is on par with most brunch places and the food was pretty good.

From the moment, we walked in we were greeted and seated. Soon after, we were ready to order. The food came out rather quickly. Everything was top notch. The food is enjoyable. We had the cheese croffle which is sweet and savory. The southwest skillet with hash brown and over ez eggs is perfect as well!

This was our 2nd time here for breakfast and we absolutely love this place. The service is quick; the staff is super friendly and considerate of their customers. Talia's Cafe is spacious and has comfy seating options that can accommodate groups of all sizes. Definitely recommend trying it out, we will be back! :)

Service was really good, our server was very courteous and helped explain how the menu works well. Food did take a lil bit more time than usual, but no gripe. Ambiance wise you'd expect it to be like a diner but it was very chic and table was very clean. My eggs were soft and creamy, just how I like them. The wait was totally worth the tasty food that was served and was presented well enough.

We got the strawberry croffle, eggs Benedict, and Mexican skillet. The portions were good and all the food was super flavorful! Service was also really friendly and the space is large and not overly noisy, so a good place to go if you're actually trying to have some conversation.

Steak and eggs were cooked perfectly, and the breakfast overall was spot-on. What really made it stand out was the service--our waitress was incredibly friendly and made the whole experience even better. Definitely coming back!

Croffle is a combination of croissant and waffle. It is made by using fresh croissant dough and put it in a waffle iron and you got yourself a croffle

I knew from the second we walked in, based on the list of made-in-house horchatas and agua frescas, that we were going to be in for a good meal. The menu was refreshingly unique compared to your basic street taco style setup or the usual Tex-Mex mashup of inauthentic tacos topped with shredded cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes. Our group of 3 adults, plus my 7 year old niece, shared a bowl of guacamole, which was phenomenal and came mixed with sunflower seeds and topped with crumbled cotija, alongside house-made corn tortilla chips. We also split an elote cup, which was great. My wife got a classic horchata, which was deliciously sweet (but not overly so) with a nice slight punch of cinnamon. I went with water but will definitely try an agua fresca next time. I ordered two tacos, both on house-made flour tortillas (I like corn tortillas but prefer flour when made fresh). The Pollo Azteca, with marinated grilled chicken tenderloin, mango pico, and a drizzle of crema, was phenomenal, and had more flavor than most chicken tacos I've had before. The star of my meal, however, was the Al Pastor, with adobo marinated pork tenderloin, diced pineapple, onions, and cilantro, with a slice of lime to squeeze on top. This was hands down one of the best tacos I've ever had in my life. I was floored. I also tried my wife's Carne Asada tacos, which came topped with cilantro and onions, and a slice of lime, on their house made corn tortillas. The steak was incredibly flavorful, and the corn tortillas were tender without being chewy. We shared a side of rice and beans, which was good, but not the star of the show. The rice was your typical Mexican yellow rice, and the beans were more of a soupy whole-beans style, which reminded me of my Colombian mother-in-law's recipe. The staff makes four homemade salsas, ranging from mild to pretty spicy, and I loved all of them with the exception of the mild. My niece got the kids' cheese quesadilla, which was a simple melted Oaxaca cheese between a flour tortilla, served with rice, beans, and a little side of crema. The last thing I will rave about is the service. The staff was incredibly nice from the minute we walked in, pleasant to talk to when delivering our order and asking how everything was tasting, to the moment we bussed our tables and headed for the door. I cannot wait to come back again, and I hope they stay very busy until I'm able to do so, because I want this place to be around for a very long time!

Literally something for everyone from brisket and steak,to fish or vegetable options. All served up as a taco or bowl. I Ordered the special which was a poke taco on a lettuce leaf. Let me stop here and say,I wish I hadn't found this offering. It is so good,I could come by here daily just for the moist goodness slathered in the perfect sour cream frosting . We took a seat and our name was called for counter pick up in a short 5 minutes. Tacos were prepared and served beautifully. We were both happy with our choices and glad we ate lite. I was surprised to find I could eat " lite" here so,have added it to my convenient and reasonable " healthier" eating list.

The tables and floors are dirty with flakes of food. Just down right dirty. Ugh. Not sure when they ever wipe them down, if ever. Of all the tables on several visits I couldn't find a clean table to sit and eat. It's a taqueria? But, still offer table seating. I'm so confused. Not the usual spotless Mexican kitchen. The floors are dirty. Ugh. Crumbs all over the floor and it's sticky. I think most folks use Uber Eats. That's why they don't have a standard inside. Usually, kids, and I mean kids 16 and younger are running the counter and kitchen. The bottles are never wiped down. Caked on food on ketchup, green sauce, and red sauce bottles. Thus far I've not gotten sick. They don't speak English, but then I don't speak Spanish. So it's a wash! I'll probably go back. And pray every time I don't get sick. Thus far I've dodged the bullet! I'd like to support a small business. However, the prices are stupid crazy! Salsa and chips are $5.50. Refills are $1 each time for salsa. Pay up front too. Then they serve you. Don't expect refills either you have to pay first. ( I still leave a tip, but probably shouldn't). Food is always decent! Just know when eating in, it's not up to expectations as a consumer. Make your own judgments. Sticking to Uber eats may be your best bet! That way you don't see what really goes on inside this establishment. June-September 2024
