We ordered a bit of everything as we read the reviews and FOMO kicked in while reading the menu. We ordered: Fries Pork lo mein Steak fried rice 20 wings with three different sauces: mild buffalo, sticky Asian , and the Joe's spicy lemon-pepper. We also ordered draft beers to wash it all down. The fries came out...nice and crispy with great seasoning. The draft beers are super cold and fresh. The steak fried rice is excellent...a touch of garlic on the super tender steak and the rice is cooked perfectly The pork noodles followed and are delightful and full of flavor. The wings came out next and the buffalo and sticky Asian are nice size wings and really amazing to taste. Joe's lemon pepper options is a dry rub on wings that you can hear the crunch when you bite down. A pop of lemon with a back end of spice in pepper. I leave 5 star reviews but this place has me wishing there was a 6th star available as an option. All this almost made me forgo complement the excellent service we received from Ireland and Chris. The portions are huge, the service is over the top, and this is truly the best wings and Asian food I can remember enjoying in many, many years.

GM was there and helped the new guy on the register, but was quite knowledgeable and fluent in proper precautions and the contents of the food. His attitude was very friendly and reassuring, which helps a lot with an unfamiliar place. They don't fry anything and the chips were repacked (certified GF) and the wings were baked (with precautions) and he confirmed the queso sauce was corn starch for the roux. There were a couple sauces on wings that were not safe (BBQ and Honey Hot) and the taps for cider / mead were confirmed dedicated. I ended up with Garlic Parmesan wings and chips and queso and my son's nachos with grilled chicken, and a canned cider. I did try the blackberry mead which tasted fabulous but not really a good lunch beverage. No reactions! They told me they could make any sandwich with GF bread - we are here for a while so I'll definitely be back to try one of those!

My husband and I had never been to a BBQ joint quite like this before. At first, we were looking around like, "Is this a buffet?" Lol The restaurant has a really cool Western BBQ feel, and you can smell the BBQ smoking before you even walk inside. The meat is weighed by the pound, and we ordered brisket, baked potatoes, creamed corn, green beans, and a brisket-stuffed pepper wrapped in bacon. One of the coolest things is that if you eat inside the restaurant, dessert is FREE! They had peach cobbler, banana pudding, and ice cream. The brisket was AMAZING, and so were the creamed corn, green beans, peach cobbler, and those bacon-wrapped stuffed peppers! We really enjoyed everything we tried. This was such a fun experience and some seriously good BBQ. I can't wait to return!

This has been my must go to twice a year when I visit a friend in McKinney for quite sometime now…read more What started out as the most amazing barbecue I've ever had has unfortunately come up short the last two times I've been there. Back in March I excitedly went to enjoy my usual brisket sandwich and green beans to find out they changed those to an entirely different recipe. Greasy and over powered with bacon and sweetness ruined what once was the best side they had there. Upon my most recent visit back two weeks ago I was hoping to find that they maybe realized they had made a mistake and went back to the original green beans but unfortunately that was not the case. Still those nasty greasy green beans. Eww! Also, my brisket sandwich this time was a no go. I asked for the lean cut but had to pick it apart to remove all of the fat in it which then made the bun super soggy. I was so disappointed again :( I'm not really sure what changes are being made and why but some things just need to stay the same. If it's not broke, don't try and fix it...
