Love the fast friendly efficient service, yummy Tex-Mex standard dishes, and some unique daily specials are refreshing options. The salsa is a fresh homemade style and refillable! The Florescent lighting, wood paneling, and sport tvs are sad for improper ambiance but I guess it's their thrifty standard. A family place though with padded booths or table/ chair setting, Currently, NO alcohol served at this family oriented restaurant but appears there is at the private club next door with membership. read more

Underwhelming. We were just driving by and decided to stop after looking for something to eat. Menu was more limited than I would have thought. We had queso, quesadillas and tacos. The food wasn't bad, but just ok. The flavor was just lacking...needed more seasoning. I feel like I could have made something better at home. Our server was great. She was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was very clean. They did not have much decor. Would I go back if in the area again, probably not. Also, they do not serve alcohol, so if you are wanting a margarita with your meal, this is probably not your best choice. read more

See all

It was ok. It's your typical Tex-mex food. Food was served fast, which is good if you're hungry. However, the only complaint is not even about the restaurant. It was about the other customers. You would have thought they'd never seen Mexicans eating Mexican food before.. Lol..... (All eyes were on us!) read more

Food is good, service is good and seating is okay I have eaten here several times and was always satisfied with everything read more

Their food is always great and great service they seem to care. Enjoy their chips and salsa

Was expecting some exceptionally good Mexican food as the reviews reflected but was somewhat disappointed. Nothing special. Not a lot of flavor. It was OK. read more

Stopped here because of the reviews and the parking lot was packed. The five star folks must have been at another place This was the worst Tex-Mex I've ever had. Chips cooked in bad oil, watery salsa, no bar, queso tasted made from a powder mix. It's supermarket bright inside and the ceiling has leak spots all over it. We had enchiladas, flautas, tamales, tacos and the blackened snapper. Mediocre at best on all the traditional choices. Nary a blackened spice on the fish that tasted boiled. Our server was pleasant and efficient. Good luck. read more

Wonderful service, friendly people and great food! We loved the fajita flameado! We will visit again.

Me, and some family members were fishing a bass tournament at Lake Fork, we stopped here because it was close to our cabin. We came in and were greeted with friendly smiles and a warming atmosphere. The service was absolutely amazing , our drinks were always full and I believe the salsa was the best I've had in a while. The food was limited I will say, but it makes up for it in the taste of the food. I would highly recommend stopping here if you see it. they earned my five stars. read more

Best TexMex food anywhere near Emory. Can't say a bad thing about any of it. I even love their refried beans and rice which I normally just taste at others restaurants and consider filler. If I am eating here, I take home all the leftover beans and rice from everyone's plates. The steak chimichanga and fiesta fajitas are by far my most repeat orders. Salsa and chips are perfect traditional Tex mex. Service is always fast and friendly. read more

The best enchiladas with queso.. and the charro beans are excellent!! The service is top notch! And it's like a family when you go in they are so friendly, best of all the Mexican food taste homemade and is the best in Emory! read more

Our favorite Mexican food restaurant. The food is delicious, service is always quick. Reasonable prices. Love El Manna!!!

It was clean!! Service was great!! Food was tasty!! Great little find. Not a huge place but not small either.

Was on a trip to visit some family and started getting hungry on the road so we pulled in here not expecting much, just looking for a bite to eat. The place doesn't look like much, old looking building, the usual small town Mexican spot, but MAN. The food was so delicious. Everything tasted so fresh from the salsa, the guacamole, the entrees, everything tasted very very good. Probably some of the better Tex mex style food I've had and I've had a LOT. Maybe I just got lucky, but if I'm ever down that way again I will be stopping by again just to make sure. read more

Love this little place! Good food, good service. Nothing super fancy, but a great place to bring the family. The kids enjoy it too!

Good reliable Mexican food. We go there quite often and have never had bad food or a bad experience.

Ok starters I'm not sure who else is reviewing this place but they aren't eating at this restaurant The ceiling is gross, the floor is gross I'm pretty sure it was an old skating rink. Asked for another set of silverware because mine were nasty and she brought 2 more luckily one was clean while the other was not. Chips and salsa were good but don't think about regular taco sauce while you eat em because it's the same thing. The queso was straight up only velveeta no seasoning. It got 2 stars because the fajitas were decent and I was starving. No mas read more

Great Tex mex food. The chicken tortilla soup is delicious as well as anything on the menu. Staff is friendly.

Wow some of the best Tex-Mex I have ever tasted. Great service and hot chips! Also, the salsa was fresh and flavorful!

Awesome and VERY AFFORDABLE mexican food. I have never once had bad service. Everyone is so sweet and remembers you!

Out of town on business and happen upon this place. Saw the reviews and decided to try it. Glad I did. I little busy being a Friday night, so plan on a possible short wait if you get here at prime time. Opted for the spicy guacamole to start. And I got what I asked for, spicy! For an entrée I went with the shrimp chili relleno . Not bad at all. The restaurant has a big room with lots of tables. Not to fancy or over done. The service was good and friendly. Overall, I'd say I'd come back. read more

Typical Mexican dishes. Friendly staff and fast service. The chips and salsa were very crisp.

We love our hometown Tex Mex!! This is the meeting spot for many people. The food is ways great and the staff is consistent and friendly

Great during busy time. Huge bass tournament Lorena was the best! She was very receptive and awesome at re filling the chips! Excellent personality as well!!!! Queso. Ehhhggg. As long as you mix your salsa with the queso it's ok. Come on y'all. If the queso sucks the food is ok. ‍ read more

Definitely come back again. Everything is fresh and house made. Just wish it was closer.

The food was average at best. I highly prefer Dos Chorros down the road in town is much better.

Food is always tasty and comes out fast and hot! Friendly staff and the salsa n chips are so addictive. Very delicious, my favorite Mexican restaurant! Tony is our favorite server. read more

El Manna Tex-Mex Restaurant - two plates of food - Tex-Mex Near Me - Emory, Texas

We really like this place! We have come with large parties and smaller and they have provided great service. The food has been wonderful, from the quesadillas to the enchiladas and chimis. The queso is simple but addictive. read more

The staff will speak in Spanish about you - even right in front of you when they think you do not understand Spanish. They degraded my party right in front of us not knowing that we had a bi lingual person with us. Pretty rude and disgusting. read more

My favorite Tex Mex food around! They have great customer service and are very prompt even with large groups!

This place is great all around. It's been one of our favorite places to eat in Emory. These guys are very busy for a reason. Check them out.

Sooo yummy! We stopped here on the way through town and were very pleasantly surprised! I had the fajitas for lunch and they were marvelous. Generous portions, excellent price and excellent customer service! read more

Salsa was great today, not too hot. Lunch Fajhitas were perfect. The waitress checked often but did not offer to refill drinks or chips.

Delicious chips, salsa, and queso. Even better tacos and enchiladas! Amazing, friendly staff as well! Will definitely be back!

This restaurant passed the Mexican food tests. First, the plates were hot enough to keep the food warm the entire meal. Second, the rice and beans were homemade. Third, the fajita meat was tender and not overdone or over seasoned. Fourth, the guacamole was real with chunks of avocado. The only negative was the salsa was unimpressive. It was good just not unique. The wait staff was friendly, efficient, and attentive. read more

Loved it. Food was great. Salsa addictive. Service excellent. I ordered the pollo our chicken soup and hubby ordered cheese enchiladas. We were very well attended to. Regulars there were friendly also. read more
