I went here because I was in Paris Texas and I wanted to eat outside of the casino and try some new things. This place is located in downtown Paris which is a nice place to walk. Unfortunately, you can miss this place as I did when I was walking and had to turn back. I wish their sign was a little bit bigger. This place was turned from an old gasoline station to a restaurant which is cool. I ordered the chinquellas. I did not get any meat on it as I knew coming in it was going to be very hearty and it was very hot that day. You also get free chips and salsa. The chips was not stale and salsa was good. I did not eat the whole plate as I was waiting for my meal. The service was amazing and I did over tip them as they kept on refilling my water. I ended up leaving my hat there that I bought, but I came back an hour later and they held it for me in case I came back. Overall I would recommend this place. read more

In the routing for my drive to Shreveport from Broken Arrow I added a slight detour and coordinated the timing, specifically to catch a late lunch at Tacos Queretaro. This highly rated little Mexican restaurant, operating in a repurposed old gas station, delivered food and service equal to its rating. The parking at the small service station lot is a little tight, so you may have to park on the street. There is ample parking close by. It is a very clean and attractive restaurant. The unique interior is brightly decorated and modern. Family owned and operated, everything made fresh. The food is a full spectrum of traditional authentic Mexican, from breakfast to lunch and dinner. My wife had the Huarache with beef and I had the Tostada Chicken Tinga. The beef on the Huarache and the flavorful Chicken Tinga were delicious. Two fresh light meals, perfect for the road trip lunch break. Good chips and salsas. The drinks come in a can, but they gave us two cans. Not sure if this was a special or this is how they always serve their drinks. For us it was one for the road. I have eaten in a variety of old buildings that have been repurposed to Mexican restaurants; an old gas station is a first for me though. Wonderful find in Paris. Sweet ambience, kind and attentive service, delicious food. I ordered the Spinach enchiladas and was thrilled to find fresh local spinach inside the homemade corn tortillas. I am vegetarian and they were open to making any dish i wanted without meat.... the dish was delicious from the enchiladas, rice & beans to the free warm chips and homemade salsa. The best food ever! I'm Mexican so I can truly say the Mexican food they have is authentic and delicious. The place is super cute, clean, nicely decorated and the outdoor area is so quaint. The owner and her husband I think we're the ones that took our order and cooking and were very friendly. We got the (torta )pambazo and it was AMAZING!! Just FYI this is a BYOB restaurant, BONUS. We brought our own glasses and two beers a piece. It would be pretty tacky to ask them for glasses. Just had a Pambazo Mexican sandwich with Barbacoa and it was delicious. The sandwich came with perfectly cooked crinkle cut fries. Hubby had beef enchiladas with rice and beans, excellent as well. The salsa they give with the chips is a step above the usual we get at other places. They also have a green and a red salsa in squeeze bottles that you can ask for and both are very good, but the red had this wonderful smoky flavor. Service was excellent. Not quite sure how I missed this wonderful restaurant for such a long time in a small town awash with mediocre Mexican food-- or more specifically, TexMex. This establishment fortunately, is NOT that. We enjoyed the warmed and crisp thin chips and fresh salsa (of course) I ordered the fajitas with the beef and shrimp and he had beef tacos. Everything was homemade, with the exception of the chips and tortillas, with chunky refried beans and subtle yellow rice --both sides above average but not mind blowing--a missed opportunity in my opinion. The star of the show was the tender marinated beef and cooked to perfection shrimp in the fajitas. His tacos were well seasoned and perfectly plated. We ordered the lunch plates, and so portions were smaller than the usual Mexican American food. Service was attentive but not intrusive-- we will definitely be back for authentic Mexican food. The restaurant is clean and bright with a spectacular outdoor seating area-- hope they get a liquor license soon so we can enjoy a beer with a meal. read more

Nestled on Main Street a block off the square is a fantastic new little taco/Mexican restaurant. The building is beautiful and the dining area is surrounded by windows and porches. I'm from San Antonio so I'm a bit judgmental when it comes to Mexican food and this place was flavorful but definitely not the most authentic I've had. if Mexican isn't something you normally eat then this place is a great place to start, but I think everything would be better if the tortillas were made from scratch. Also, my mom got the shrimp tacos but the tortillas weren't heated up and the shrimp was covered in coconut shavings.
