I frequent this spot from time to time, but have not left a review before. This is the second best place in Sherman to get a big juicy burger. I have not had a bad meal yet. We have found our hole-in-the-wall go to for fresh, made to order food! I was tempted to call this a burger joint, but it is so much more than that. The breakfast is amazing. The burgers are amazing. The sandwiches and corny dogs and hotdogs are amazing. The fried pies are beyond amazing. The ladies in there all seem very nice but I believe whoever is making the prices or managing really needs to fix a few things. I've been in there before and had to walkout because no one wanted to take my order and today I attempted again since my toddler was super hungry since I'm living right up the road so I went through drive thru. I'm not going to complain about wait time but when I got my order of a corn dog, tator tots with a small drink for 8 dollars this is what I got.. I just thought that could have been better if we are going to wait longer for quality food. He did eat two tutor tots but that was the entirety of the meal which is very skimpy for the price paid. Anyway, it's not about staff. I've worked in customer service for a very long time and I understand how hard it can be but that management needs to think about how they are charging and treating the neighborhood. read more

Both cashiers the guy and the girl "kaylee" were very rude and rushed me while I was ordering the first person (the guy) got impatient with me and then the girl came on the intercom (kaylee) was very aggressive and asked me again what I wanted. They didn't get my order right I had a previous interaction it was good but after this I won't be coming back it takes so little to be nice especially when you work in customer service. I love WannaBurger. Everything they cook is fresh. I know you're not thinking of a burger place for breakfast but you should! Fresh cracked eggs cooked the way you want. Delicious fluffy pancakes. Cinnamon rolls. All amazing. For dinner their steak fingers are the best you will find. If there's a bit of a sewer smell when you walk in know it's not their fault. That's due to the city Sherman's dilapidated pipes for downtown business. The people that work there are great and do what they can to help. read more

Wanna Burger is one of my favorite burger joints around. The burgers are juicy, full of flavor, and stacked just right. The fries are crispy, the onion rings are outstanding. The real secret, buffalo wings. These things delicious, packed with flavor, and cooked perfectly. The buffalo sauce has just the right kick without being overpowering. If you're a wing fan, you will not be disappointed! (They are bone-in) And don't skip the fried pies--warm, flaky, and just the right amount of sweet to finish off a great meal. The couple running the store were very sweet! I have severe food allergies and they paid close attention to ensure my food was safe for me to eat. Their burrito was massive and very filling. The bacon burger was nice and filled with toppings. The fried pickles and onion rings are amazing, fresh, and seasoned well. My boyfriend & I also got their sweet tea and it was so good! What a great find!!!! We were driving through Sherman and decided to give this joint a try. It's always a gamble eating out with my family of 5, 3 being under the age of 8. We spilled a couple of drinks while there and I'm pretty sure they cheered when we left. However, while we were there the staff was super friendly and patient. The food was super yummy as well!! We tried the regular fries, sweet potato waffle fries, and potato rings. All were crunchy and tasty!! My favorites were the sweet potato ones!!! The burgers were juicy and delicious!!! The prices are good. The food is pretty much standard fare. I tried the burger and the patty was pretty tough. Husband had breakfast and it was fine. I'm all about customer service, my business is about customer service. On multiple occasions we have come to Wannaburger because we enjoy the food. Multiple times we have not received our fries that we paid for, but didn't complain. The one time we did complain we were told over the phone that we could come back for a free meal. We come back two days later just to be told that they can only take $5 off not a free meal. States owner said so but when I asked to speak to the owner they aren't there. This is not good business, the excuse for this is that it's happened too many times recently by others- which I shouldn't be punished for. When you are a family owned business, not a major company- make sure you don't do bad by your community. And also train your people to say what can be done the first time instead of lying and then sending another worker to the window to backtrack on your lie. End of rant and complaining. read more

Awesome made to order homemade burger joint. It's is my 5 year olds favorite burger place.

Stopped for breakfast & were pleasantly surprised...our breakfast was made to order...monster burrito- contained ham, cheese, jalapeños, & ranchero sauce....my husband said it was like eating an omelet wrapped in a flour tortilla...he loved it! I ate a bacon breakfast sandwich which was a small hamburger bun w/a freshly made over hard egg, cheese, & lots of bacon...good stuff...yummy! Our hash browns were freshly made as well. We will stop here again just to try out the burgers. We went through the drive thru & our order taker was very nice & explained our options & the menu...excellent customer service!!! read more
