Great food and has a mom and pop feel to it. Service was great. Definitely come back to eat.

One of the best breakfast places in Grayson County! The food is so good! I got the pancakes both times I went and the cinnamon roll pancakes are amazing and perfectly soft and a lil crispy and the Oreo one are perfect for desert and for a sugar over load. The service is amazing and fast and the waitress is very kind! Ambience is calm and not crowded read more

I was in the area on business and needed to catch a quick bite mid-day. I saw this place as I drove by and had breakfast for lunch as it were. I ordered the eggs benedict and a biscuit on the side because I'm a fan of both. The biscuit was enormous and was served with what seemed like home-made jam. It was good, but on the dry side. The eggs benedict came with what I would describe as shoe-string home fries. Those didn't appeal to me all that much, but the eggs benedict was very good. There didn't seem to be quite enough staff members on duty. I had to make an effort to get and pay my bill. But all told, a satisfying meal and I'd go back. Ambiance is casual and would be family friendly. read more

Sweetberrys Restaurant has absolutely the finest Chile I've ever had. Been Going here now for 2 year's.

My son and I were headed for Choctaw casino and I needed to make a pit stop. We got off the highway looking for a clean restroom and noticed this place not far off the highway. Deciding we would have brunch before getting to Oklahoma (the food at the casino is not that great), we stopped. So glad we did, as the food and service were both great! I had eggs, ham and sourdough toast and all were delicious; my son had one of the benedicts and it looked so good. We will be back the next time we're in the area. read more

I've eaten here twice. The food is ok, the service is ok but I never think " oh let's go there ". I'm not sure why, I have no bad feelings about the place it's just no on my radar as worth going out of my way. You might feel different about it, give em a try. read more

Stopped here while passing through based on photos. They didn't disappoint. Great little cafe. Massive biscuits. Amazing hollandaise sauce.

Food was decent. Aside from the pancakes being dry, the food was not bad at all. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. read more

9/8/25 Came here for breakfast. There's a sign that wait to be seated, after waiting 10 minutes and no one showing up I sat myself. After my meal, I went to pay out no one there again. Had to find someone another wasted 10 minutes. I told the didn't like having to waste my time trying to be seated or to pay. She said I needed to find someplace more accommodating I don't think trying to be seated or paying my ticket is considered being accommodated by this restaurant. This was my last time to eat here. read more

Nice little breakfast/lunch cafe. Bathrooms were clean; however they do need to be updated. The restaurant was clean. Wehad lunch: 1-CFS, mashed potatoes w/gravy, corn on the cob. With water 2-California Roll with fries and water. CFS was good seasoned ok but just a bit too crisp. Still good. The Cali Roll was good. Needed a tad bit of salt and pepper. I'm not a big fry eater and honestly didn't know they came with the meal (i didn't read ). Service was good and had no issues. The only issue was the water. Just awful. I did inquire about this. Reg tap water in that area is . Per the owner they are trying to switch everything over to a filtration system. And to ask for the filtered water from the soda machine till they do. My only issue is that this should be standard practice until ALL systems are on the filtration system. Their breakfast looks amazing so we will return for it. Overall a good experience. read more

O-M-G is the first thing that comes to mind when I think of Strawberries Cafe! We drove up from Dallas and decided to swing into SC for a quick bite and couldn't be more pleased - the food is amazing! If you came in and could only get one thing - get a homemade BISCUIT - they are HUGE and sooooo YUMMY!? The breakfasts we had were also delish but I kid you not that biscuit was everything! read more

Happened upon this place from out of town. Didn't have high expectations due to obvious age and condition of restaurant. But wow - the food was good! To me, most breakfast places taste like the food was frozen and then cooked to serve. There were 3 of us and we all had different things and ALL were very pleased with their food. PS our server was fantastic! read more

When we walked in, we thought it was going to be amazing! The menu was full of delicious "looking" items. We opted to be fat kids and ordered the chicken fried steak, the chicken fried chicken, and the cinammon raisin French toast. The plates came, and they didn't skimp on the portions. But when I cut into my chicken fried, it was too tough to cut through. Too much white gravy, too. They replaced it with a chicken friend steak, which was meh, but the fruit flies and fire ants swarming our booth made me loose my appetite. The French toast was kinda soggy. And the meal cost $60! So long, SBC, we will not be back read more

The food tastes so good, and it's good size portions for the cost. Lots of places have continued to charge the same amount and end up sacrificing size or quality, but not this place. Myself , husband, and son just love coming here anytime we're in the area. The waitstaff is also friendly and even if it's busy, they stay on top of the customers requests. read more

I ordered the berry bliss waffle, and my daughter had a cinnamon roll pancakes. We also had to have a side of hash browns. I typically do not order anything sweet for breakfast, but the berry bliss waffle with the mascarpone and whipped cream was incredible. My daughter ordered the cinnamon roll pancakes and she love them. The restaurant is extremely clean and the staff was fabulous. There was a wait when we arrived, but we were seated within 10 minutes. I will definitely recommend this place to all of my friends. On another note, they have gluten-free options. My husband was not with us, but he is gluten and dairy free and I wish you could have been there with us! He can often find gluten-free options on a breakfast menu, but it is so wonderful to have pancake and waffle options that are gluten-free! read more

I go here for the breakfast, it's full of options. Omelettes, skillets, oatmeal and just about anything you can imagine.

Super yummy! Will be back! Down home service and fresh food. Just what you want in a breakfast place. I knocked off a star because the coffee wasn't that great. I'm pretty picky, but when my man giant said the coffee wasn't so good (and he isn't picky) well, it's good for you readers and management to know that. Veggies seemed fresh, Swedish pancakes were on point. Maybe get some fresh lingonberry instead of jar ones. The overwhelming preservative taste took away from the chefs fresh cooking. Will be back and definitely will recommend! read more

We were really hoping for a good breakfast!! But, we were disappointed. Eggs were dry, even tho they redid the poached eggs, the hash was canned and dry, the toast was, well... dry. And the sausage links were ,yep, you guessed it... dry! I do t recommend this place. There are other places, I hope. Not returning read more

Customer service was perfect! Friendly staff, quick to be seated, and everyone was happy and kind. The food was okay, my entree was flavorless but the biscuits and omelettes were plentiful. My entree as mentioned above was the French toast....it tasted like egg toast. Wasn't pleased with that. read more

Stopped coming back from Choctaw Casino. Reviews are correct! Large portions! Food is amazing! The skillets are fantastic. I tried my brothers French toast it was amazing. Let me start by saying we are food snobs and we are thrilled to find a place to eat with great meals and lots of options for the whole family. We've actually had family come back into town and request to eat here. Our waitresses are also so kind and the food is top notch. It doesn't look like much but we highly suggest! read more

Service was 5 stars! We were greeted, promptly seated, and our server was attentive and thoughtful. I was craving corned beef hash so I ordered the breakfast plate. It came with 3 eggs and a generous portion of hash browns. Unfortunately, the corned beef hash was the worst I've ever tried and my eggs and hash browns were greasy. My husband ordered the Mexican skillet which was ok. He said it tasted like canned chili. It had lots of flavor and I liked that the bell peppers had a crunch to them. read more

I can't be the only one that was disgusted by the water and coffee? I can't even explain the taste the water had but I did not take a second sip. Coffee was way too dark and burnt, most likely brewed with the same disgusting water. The breakfast was okay but the garnish on the plate was pathetic and over the top. I don't need the weeds you pulled from your front yard on my plate with a stupid twisted orange slice. Their pricing is more atrocious than anything, I really don't understand how they're still in business. Needless to say, I'm glad I don't live nearby this place so I truly have a reason to never come here again. read more

I was hesitant after seeing 3 stars on here. However, I have eaten here twice and have loved it both times. The food is great. I consider them a step above on breakfast. Can't figure out the low reviews on here but got to assume they are out dated. I loved it and will be back! read more

My party ordered a spectrum of food and every bit of it was off. Terrible eggs way overcooked, undercooked bacon and crunchy pancakes ... Wife had chicken fried steak which was probably best in show. Okra side was soggy and tasteless. Mashed potatoes were not edible. Came with toast covered by cajun spices that was at least 60& sodium. Waited 45 minutes for food and another 20 to pay. I won't be back read more

Delicious, creative, quality menu, all the classics plus more creative delicious twists

The server said they were short staffed but common. Over an hour for a burger and a skillet? My sons waffles never came out and eventually she brought him a pancake but he wanted the Mickey waffles. We barely got one refill on our drinks and couldn't enjoy our food by the time it came out. Then you have to go wait in a line to pay. We won't be back. Small town cafes can do better. Like we were willing to wait but this was an absurd wait read more

place is disguuuuussssting and I tried to like it I swear, food is bland, sometimes bugers come half cooked or cold. Eggs were decent but thats it. Service is fine, not their fault the food isn't good . read more

Went to breakfast with family. Got my bill. Asked a simple question to the manager and got treated like complete garbage. If you know me, you know I never make a scene, but once treated less than decent, I never return! The manager told me if I "didn't like it, I could eat at home" I'll never return to SweetBerries in Sherman, Texas. Ever. My inquiry was only, what prompts them to charge $4.49 for 10 oz of chocolate milk. I wasn't even mad, I was just curious. Biscuits are the best. Food was good overall. Cozy space for breakfast and journaling.

Coffee is horrible.. walked out after one sip. They need to modernize.. this about as good as a Dennys.. if you like that.

My kinda quaint little restaurant. Nice, friendly staff and food was really good. Little slow on keeping coffee cup full.

Really delicious food. I got the chicken panini with seasoned fries. Honestly, fantastic. My sisters and mom enjoyed their meals as well. Would definitely recommend. The pancakes were delicious, and they had no complaints about their omelets. The server was kind and quick with service. We came at around 11:20 and it wasn't very busy, so everything came out fairly quick. Decent prices for good food. read more

The initial service was slow. After being seated all was well. The food was good. I had a Veggie Omelette with a side of hash browns that came with it. Very tasty. My grandson had a two egg, 3 slices of crispy bacon with 2 pancakes combo. Have eaten here before and will, again. The interior has been updated and the booths and table/chairs are nice. No more sinking almost to the floor in some of the booths. Can recommend eating here. read more
