Little town diner, lovely staff( comes with the territory). Their food is very fresh, their bacon is great! Please try their biscuits and sausage gravy...delicious! It taste like your grandma made it. We went for breakfast but they have a really extensive menu and it looks like they have great lunch options too.

This little gem of a place feels just like your at home: with the kind waitstaff and the smell of homemade home cooked meals aroma in the air. Tara was so kind to my son and I. She truly made us feel like we were family. She told us they have daily specials and they all sounded delicious and affordable. We will definitely be back soon to try the food. We stopped to get a drink and use the restroom, while we were on a mini day trip to Bonham. The sweet tea taste so fresh and like momma just made a fresh picture for the whole family to enjoy.

We've been eyeing this place for several weeks and being new to the area, want to try everything. They did not disappoint! From the homemade, yes homemade, gravy to the great coffee, to the perfect eggs over medium (no runny whites) the breakfast was perfect. Definitely a place worth your visit! I know we'll be back a lot more.

The daily special was meatloaf with 2 sides. I ordered a extra side for a small fee. The meatloaf was excellent and well seasoned. They had jalapeños cornbread or regular cornbread. The jalapeños cornbread had just the right amount of heat.

Great and friendly service, nice old fashioned ambiance. Open Monday's (seems like no restaurants are in Bonham). Ordered the rib eye which was pretty pricey at $26, but can with two sides and Texas toast and a salad. Salad bar is little weak but the green tomatoes are incredible. They are pickled and addictive. All the food coming out looked great while I waited for mine. Steak was cooked perfect and best ribs eye I had in a while. Everyone was very attentive. Overall great food and I'll be back soon.

Meatloaf, green beans, mustard greens, mashed potatoes and gravy and jalapeño cornbread!

Today I might have had the best meatloaf I have ever had at Panther Row Eatery! Monday is meatloaf day! A few weeks ago I had hand breaded chicken fried steak and gravy, cabbage, green beans and cornbread! Everything was amazing! When you're in a hurry and want a home cooked meal go HERE! The food is always fresh and you get a lot of it!

Small interior offering 4 tables and a line up of bar stools. The kitchen and pantry are fully exposed. We were greeted by a gent opening the door for us and friendly hellos! The menu provides a wide selection of country fair with twists on cosmopolitan selections (the country bennie is a must). No pre-cut fries on site,! Everything looked and tastes freshly prepared. Will definitely make the trek again!

Inside, the atmosphere is small-town comfort at its best -- casual, welcoming, and the kind of place that instantly makes you feel at home. I ordered the Chicken Bennie, and it was absolutely outstanding. A homemade biscuit served as the base, soft and fluffy on the inside with just the right touch of crisp on the outside. On top of that came perfectly fried chicken tenders, a runny egg that tied everything together, and a generous pour of rich, savory sausage gravy. It all came with a side of crispy fried potatoes that were cooked just right -- golden and flavorful without being greasy. Every bite was pure comfort food perfection. The coffee was smooth and satisfying, the kind that pairs perfectly with a hearty breakfast. Service was excellent as well -- friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind, which made the whole experience even better. You can tell the staff really cares about their customers and their food. Overall, 1836 Café is exactly what you hope to find in a small-town spot: great food, great people, and an atmosphere that keeps you wanting to come back. I'll definitely be returning, and I highly recommend it to anyone passing through or nearby.

Although they didn't have a bunch of reviews, the ones they did have were good - so we decided to give them a try. Walked in around noon on a Friday to an empty restaurant, that's usually not a good sign. Our server looked like she'd just rolled out of bed but at least she was there I suppose. There was also a young school aged girl sitting in a booth who was semi watching a little toddler (employees children I assume)? We had to listen to Miss Rachel sing Old McDonald & the toddler running around being loud. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special either. They had good tea, I will give them that. It's a nice place, it was clean & conveniently located downtown near other businesses - which is why I couldn't understand why they weren't busy. I guess the locals might know something I don't. We were the only ones there the entire time. I know good help is hard to find these days, so you may have to settle for what you can get, but your employees can also make or break you as well. First impressions are everything, and although we were just passing through, I don't think I'd go back.

Finally! Bonham got a good place to eat breakfast!…read more I ordered the Texas Classic breakfast and opted for bacon and biscuit with it. The bacon is a good, quality bacon and was cooked to perfection. The hash browns were cooked exactly how I like them...crispy. my eggs were cooked exactly like I ordered them. Now let's talk about that biscuit. Yes, it is worthy of its own paragraph. It is homemade, and so delicious. Yum! Hubs ordered the ham and cheese omelet with a side of fruit (he's on some new diet kick). He said it was very flavorful with lots of cheese. His fruit was very fresh. As an after thought, I ordered the sourdough toast just to try it. So good! So buttery. It is hard to choose between the toast and biscuit. Both are winners. I cannot wait to come back here for lunch or dinner! I glanced at their menu, and their prices are super reasonable. The service was super friendly and attentive. I am a suckered for rustic café decor, and this one is very charming. They have a really cool painting. I took a photo. Another after thought...hubs saw pumpkin lattes, so he ordered one to go. I am not usually a latte person, but I am an "everything pumpkin" person. Well, now I may become a latte person, too. Excellent!
